Yeah, this is ashame. Perhaps as Frisky said it may have been the release timing. But I too like it much more than The Witness. Definitely a no-brainer IMO for those on the fence between the two with The Talos Principle that cheap.

Well I traded in my original PS4 over a year ago and haven't ever purposefully set up any game sharing so who knows. There's no rhyme or reason as far as I can tell.

Did you make your new PS4 your primary on your PSN account? I believe you can have only one PS4 active on your PSN ID, Limits for PS3 and Vita are more, at least two each.

Also, did you transfer you licenses? Sometimes that helps with DLC on a new machine.

The Witness is a fantastic game and one of the best this year. I also have Talos Principle, but have yet to play it despite the great things I've heard about that. I don't see any bad choice with either game, but The Witness grabbed me in a way most puzzle games don't.

The Witness is a good game but for some reason did not grab me like The Talos Principle did. Different strokes for different folks.

Okay so somebody help me out here... I'm trying to download a bunch of games while I'm on vacation and I've run into a few that give me the "To download content, you must delete unnecessary content from system storage." message. I've downloaded plenty of games before and after those so space isn't the issue. I want to say that the ones giving me trouble I had downloaded on my previous PS4 but hadn't tried on this one yet. But then I know plenty of others fell into that category so I can't make any sense of it. There are no saves locally I can delete from any of the games unless I'd have to delete my cloud saves which makes no sense.

Any ideas?

In addition to the other suggestions, have you tried to power cycle your system? Not sure if it's still a thing, but in previous firmware you had to power cycle to get the system to actually release & make available the storage freed up from deleting things. Just a thought, good luck & HTH.

I think everyone will echo that it depends on what you're into. I'd definitely recommend Ratchet & Clank and Infamous. Infamous tends to get a bad rap but I've never been sure why. It's super fun. If you haven't played the original Uncharteds, the remastered collection (1-3) can generally be had for under $20 and Uncharted 2 and 3 are masterpieces.

New games are more simulation now, so not as crazy/over the top as svr 06.

Hey guys ended up getting a PS4 even though I do most of my gaming on my X1. Any recommendations for games I should buy.? All I've picked up so far is The Last of Us and Uncharted 4.

Didn't see these mentioned yet:

Infamous: Second Son and Infamous: First Light are both worth playing if you like open world games and should be pretty easy to find for cheap. I would definitely play Second Son first.

The Order: 1886 is another I thought was way better than it was reviewed if you go in with the right expectations. It's definitely on the shorter side and there are a lot of sections where all you're doing is walking and watching an interactive movie basically, but I had fun with it.

Tearaway Unfolded: I only played it on the Vita - this is the remastered version for the PS4 and is supposedly worth playing even if you've already played the Vita version

Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection - You can make the argument that they've aged a bit since being released on the PS3, but I still had a lot of fun replaying with improved graphics, etc.

At what point does it become official that there are no sales and no new releases? Would that be a first for that occurrence?

There weren't any new games last week either. Psprices might pick up a couple random drops but looks like it's a mostly non-existent Tuesday update.

how is Ratchet and Clank.? I used to play it on PSP back in the day so i might bite on that one.

It looks incredible, and plays great. The last couple Ratchet games on the PS3 were pretty bad, but the PS4 game is superb. Though it's a remake of it first game, and they did completely ruin Ultimate Supreme Executive Chairman Drek, aside from that it's perfect.

The order was terribl and I played that whole game. For a game about a supernatural hunting order the vast majority of the game is spent hunting other humans. Awful. Such a neat idea that was super awful and clunky in implementation.
