I don't know what was the last WWE game you played, but I hadn't played since the PS2 games and was surprised by how extensive the career mode for your created wrestler is. Like, you have dialogue choices which decide if you become babyface or heel, you can run interference on matches pretty much whenever you want, you can go for tag team championship, etc.

The thing I have mixed feelings on is how technical the gameplay has gotten. This and the UFC games have all sorts of minigames to break out of holds, chokes, and to counter attacks. They're all complicated. The only one I thought worked well was the one to kick out of pins.

You don't have Xbox too, do you? This game was free a couple of months ago there.

I haven't played a WWE game (or kept up with wrestling much at all) since Smackdown vs Raw 2009 or 2010 on PS2. I probably won't know who anyone on the roster is anymore haha.

I don't mind if the gameplay is technical, as long as it adds to the gameplay instead of just padding it. Those UFC games look kinda fun, but from gameplay I've watched they seem very..."busy" I guess would be the word.

And no, just an Xbox 360 and a PS4 right now.

You can still swap it, but you either have to back up your data on separate storage and then restore it, or just accept that you'll be reinstalling things after the swap. Back up your save data to a USB drive unless you have PS+ and your saves get backed up to the cloud.

Backup process can take such a long time, especially if your drive is almost full, that I'd rather just reinstall things.

When you switch consoles for any reason, you have to redownload everything on the new one. I also find that PSN is painfully slow in redownloading content for whatever reason. Thank goodness PS+ backs up all our saves though!

Good luck!

You can actually back up all your games to a hard drive and then transfer them to the new console. You just can't swap the drive from the old console to the new one.
This way you don't have to redownload them again.

I've been buying my codes from them for a couple of years now & I wouldn't share anything that wasn't legit. They are a small shop and got overwhelmed the 1st time they did code sales, but they worked hard to make sure everyone got their orders. All smooth since then. This is wrong. You can back up on old system to external HD and then transfer to new system. I did it with my pro a couple of days ago.

No prob. It's really confusing. You are correct about the speed. Backing up to hard drive then back is super slow. Like excessively slow. Not gonna lie that its probably faster for you to redownload if you have a good internet connection. Took over 48 hrs to transfer to and back. I've never done the system migration thingy. Sounds like a good option if you have both systems available. I usually trade one in for the new hotness.

Since I missed the recent PSTV clearance at Target, I had been waiting to find one of these on sale. I went to Target this morning and pricematched the last DS3 in the store with no problem. Before I get a quoted post to ask why in the world anyone might want a brand new Dualshock 3 controller in 2016, the answer is that there are some PS3 games that won't work with a Dualshock 4 (Heavenly Sword and Trash Panic are a few examples), and some of us don't like buying used controllers since the crevices are filled with all sorts of gross stuff. So, just passing the deal along!

Bought Oxenfree yesterday and beat my first playthrough in four hours or so. It's a really good 'walking simulator' and is definitely one of my favorite games of the year. For trophy hunters, I don't know if I've seen such a stacked trophy list: 0 bronze, 3 silver, 10 gold and 1 platinum. Absolutely worth the $7.99 sale price.

if you are choosing between nfs/battlefront or waiting, id say wait. unless you are a big nfs fan or star wars fan, which i am guessing you arent because otherwise you would already own them.

There is no harm in waiting. Those titles are guaranteed to be on sale in the next 3 months for around the same price. Unless you plan to play them right away, waiting to see what week 4 offers makes sense.
