Anyone want to weigh in on LEGO Worlds vs Portal Knights?

Lego worlds is kind of a buggy experiment. I like the idea in theory and got it for my kids but it's frustrating to play a lot of times due to funky camera angles and theres not a whole lot to do once you get down to it. I felt like it has potential to be good but doesn't really deliver on that potential. It very much feels like a first try at a minecraft like lego game but really feels flat, dull, and lifeless.

Then theres lots of wierd bugs and frustrating gameplay elements due to unintuitive controls.

You can also pick up the physical copy for 20$ pretty regularly from stores so theres that as well.

If it's confirmed that grabbing the free prologue prevents you from being able to purchase the complete 1st season bundle then yes, the total for all of the individual episodes combined would be $28 (assuming the Paris episode is no longer free when they put it back up).

Yes, once an account is locked down it's locked down [for a period of time]. Customer service can't do a thing by design, because it prevents people from 'social engineering' their way into an account, which is a known issue [not just Sony, anywhere].

Just wanted to give a shout out for 'The Castle Game'.

It was a blast and a fairly easy platinum.   You place castle walls and defenses and such [think tetris or rampart but building giant castles with tower defense mechanics], then get attacked.   Each 'round' you can sell everything for full price and rebuild from scratch, which is nice.

Look at some vids, if it looks like you're going to like it, then you will, because it delivers on its promises.

At 4.50, easy recommendation.

Paris episode is back up. Intro Pack and Upgrade Pack are still gone.

Both of those should be included, the only thing not included in the digital Complete First Season is the Requiem pack (not on sale for whatever reason).

It is worth every penny. Every dime. Every quarter.

So far, it feels like the perfect dual stick shooter. Fluid, perfect controls. Easy to learn [dual stick, plus 'dash' and 'extra weapon'.] Beautiful and hypnotic. Tons upon tons of hidden content... so much to do. So much to learn. I will likely play the each world infinitely trying to perfect them and find everything. [So far I've played through world 3].

This game is everything it's pedigree [housemarque + jarvis] promised.

It's easily worth asking price.

I don't think Cursed Castilla and Mother Russia Bleeds have been on sale yet. Both are on my wishlist.

Mother Russia Bleeds is also on mine. It's been out for just under a year now. It's published by Devolver. Pretty surprised it hasn't been on sale yet.

Just got done a session.

It is worth every penny. Every dime. Every quarter.

So far, it feels like the perfect dual stick shooter. Fluid, perfect controls. Easy to learn [dual stick, plus 'dash' and 'extra weapon'.] Beautiful and hypnotic. Tons upon tons of hidden content... so much to do. So much to learn. I will likely play the each world infinitely trying to perfect them and find everything. [So far I've played through world 3].

This game is everything it's pedigree [housemarque + jarvis] promised.

It's easily worth asking price.

Was totally unaware of this game. I enjoy stick shooters for couch coop.

Question: Can two people play the game together on the same screen?

Is there gear and do you level up and customize your character with abilities, etc? Kind of like Alienation (although that is a very basic version of skills).

2 player local co-op is supported. It has pretty basic character customization but I think it's cosmetic only (you earn credits in game which you can then use to buy suits and helmets). It's definitely not a loot game like Alienation. It's a modern day Robotron or Smash TV. Very arcadey/high score driven (think Resogun or Super Stardust).

I've been wanting to buy Braid for ps3 for the longest time. Have had it in my wishlist since Sony added them to PSN.

Just checked PSPrices and it has NEVER gone on sale. Insane. I mean even The Witness has been on sale multiple times already. Anyone else have any white whale's that just refuse to go on sale?

Dealing with weebs for years on end and trying to explain that Japan is not a magical land of anime and sushi...it always fell on deaf ears. Things like this show you how bad it can be.

Paris episode is back up. Intro Pack and Upgrade Pack are still gone.

Both of those should be included, the only thing not included in the digital Complete First Season is the Requiem pack (not on sale for whatever reason).

I'm going to go out on a limb and say they have nothing to do with one another. Those pulling that shit in Japan are not the same people in their American branch that put in the work for this sale.
