Cue the fire and pitchforks.

I have most of the games I want from that flash sale, so I'm hoping for a good sale on the Atelier series for Golden Week. Let me give you money Sony, put those adorable Japanese games on sale.

Can anyone describe fat princess and rogue galaxy for me?
Fat Princess Adventures is a fantastic game. Lots of great action, super colorful graphics, great art style, lots of quests and loot. One warning though, before you start your game, turn off the option that lets anyone randomly join your game (it's on by default). If you don't, idiots will invade your game, and ruin your chance to play it at your leisure, and you won't really enjoy it at all.

Rogue Galaxy is a lengthy RPG where you travel to different worlds. The battle system is pretty cool. You have stamina so you can only spam attack so many times before having to let it recover. Unfortunately, you have to drain it fully before it can refill. It's an older RPG, so there is a fair amount of grinding and other crap to do (beetle fights). You also get a gun that makes platforms, which is kind of cool. The final boss is a multi-stage piece of s**t, though. Pretty fun overall and takes like 60+ hours at least (I don't remember the playtime on my wife's save file).

Interesting. How accessible is it for kids? My younger ones do okish with skyladers and lego games. Is it close to those levels of kid playable?

Ok I will pass. I'm well past the age where I have the free time and patience to grind 100+ hour jrpgs. Soulsborn games are time intensive enough but they have way more to keep me going than the serious rpgs anymore.

hey guys just in case you missed every single sale since it came out Evolve is on sale this week

for a limited time only though and by limited time I mean every week for the next 8 years

Sure. I've only played it solo. The cool part about it is that you can switch between any of the classes at any checkpoint you come across.
gonna snag it here shortly when I finish browsing the list again

gonna snag the complete la noire as well, never played it dunno if I'll like it but many seemed to love it and can't beat the price

Well, it's rated T for Teen:

TEEN - Content is generally suitable for ages 13 and up. May contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling and/or infrequent use of strong language.
Your call for them, I guess it depends on age/maturity.

LA Noire is DEFINITELY worth it at that price. Its an awesome game.....as along as you know what it is going in.

100%

One of the best games I've ever played. I don't care what people say, I LOVE that game. I actually need to play through it again but on :ps3:. I beat it on :360: along with the season pass content at first.

Glad I bought the season pass on :ps3: for cheap a while back and disc for like $3 from a garage sale. I just need to make some time to play it.

I already own it on PC (where this game really shines), but I'm so close to that damn platinum, Im very tempted to pick this up......and I dont even have a PS3........I need help.

Okoge: Shadow King or Rogue Galaxy?
Okage is really dated gameplay wise but the story is funny. Lots of hilarious atlus level dialogue options to troll with. You freed satan from a bottle and now are stuck serving him in order to cure your little sister from her curse of pig latin.

Has anyone here used PS Vue with Fire TV (not the Fire TV Stick)? To put PS Vue in a second room, I'm trying to decide whether the Fire TV is a good bet or whether I should spring for the extra ~$200 and just get a second PS4. As far as I can tell with some cursory googling, the Fire TV doesn't have an internal hard drive, so the price gets closer when factoring in the cost of an external hard drive.
Depending on how many TVs will be going at once be aware that Vue supports two total PS systems and up to five Fire TV devices at a time.

I may be getting there myself. I still love RPG's and buy them all the time, but I rarely bring myself to finish or even start them.

I started P4G a while back, and I wanted to play on Hard since my original playthrough of the vanilla game was on Normal. But after seeing that random battles take me down to half health even after hours of grinding, I decided ain't nobody got time for that.

I used to consider anything below Normal mode to be for scrubs, but I'm starting to rethink that. If you're just trying to get through the game and see the story, there shouldn't be anything wrong with going with an easier mode.

Honesly looking at

Little Big Planet PS4

Tearaway Unfolded PS4

Not A Hero PS4(looks repetitive)

Rogue Legacy PS4(maybe)

As someone mentioned above, I don't have the patience to go through games that require 60+ hours.

Even on my vita, I play sonic racing more than P4 because I can just have fun instead of grinding.

I wasnt asking about the rating but as to how difficult it is for kids to actually control and play.
Well, it's a lite RPG with 4 character types, each of which can use different weapons picked up, upgrade weapons, different ranged attacks, etc. Action itself is very easy and fun, and you can switch character types frequently at certain upgrade stations scattered liberally around the levels. There are tasks to complete which require a little thought, but nothing super complicated. Again I guess it depends on their experience with simple action/RPG elements, but it's a very accessible game.
