I LOVED Buster Bros. (especially the Collection on PsONe) With that said, I was a bit disappointed with Pang Adventures. Its was kinda boring and dragged. Didnt have the same charm as Buster Bros. At $7 its probably an Ok purchase....but I would hopefully wait until the eventually flash sale and get it around $2.50. After I beat it, I deleted it and will probably never go back to it.
I bought it on Google Play for my Shield TV at $3.99 and was underwhelmed. I would suggest buying Capcom Puzzle World if you own a Vita and have an overwhelming desire for bubble-popping action since the good Buster Bros games are on that compilation.

How is Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded?
Thinking about grabbing it since it's only $2 lol.
Great value for the money. If I didn't already own it, I'd buy it. With the way that publishers nickel and dime customers today, it's unlikely that we'll see better retro collections than that one in the future.

Odin's Sphere Leifraiser is amazing!

It fixes all the problems I had with the original release, and plays just stellar.

The only minor gripe I have, it is a bit easy

Boy, at this point in my life, I dream of "a bit easy". LOL

If I see hard, difficult, 20+ hrs, need to invest item, etc, I'm going the opposite way. Growing up, I had nothing but time to play games, and not having a job meant I played every game over and over until I finally just couldn't take it anymore, but that took a long while to happen.

Now if a game shows me a difficult situation, I may or may not bother to deal with it. I may just go on to something else. So I wasn't planning to put this game on right away, but if I can bang it out quick and be done, I may have to put this on sooner, rather than later.

The differences are minor, but completely change the game.

The original had a system in place where to gain stats you had to kill enemies and collect psyphers (Souls), but to gain HP you had to plant seeds,. and the souls would cause the seeds to grow into fruit which you used to increase your HP and DEF. (You also got it from eatng cooked food later in the game)
Now, they cut out the middle man and both killing enemies and eating food gives you XP which raises all your stats like a natural/normal leveling system.

The original also had notorious slowdown, where more than a couple monsters on screen and it became an unresponsive clip show. Now it's always 60FPS, smooth as silk giving you perfect time to react and hack your way through monsters.

I am further than I ever got with the original release, without losing a life once on normal. In contrast, the original release I was struggling by the 2nd/3rd chapter of the first char.

yeah the undead queen esque boss at the end of the 1st character always had horrible cooldown on ps2 and maybe even ps3.

and yeah i remember spending hours going into the restaurant and ordering cooked food and then eating it repeat just to get my hp maxed. so glad that system is different.

Then put it on hard?

I put it on easy and had a blast. Just finished up the platinum for it yesterday, too. Great game!

It could have been a rough Platinum if they made you beat the game on all difficulties. Got my copy still sitting here wrapped but when I start, I'll probably play through once on Hard for a bit of a challenge then drop to Normal or Easy for trophy cleanup.

It really is great, I never played the original, but love the art style (and Dragon's Crown). I actually splurged for the Storybook edition, because it seemed to have a lot of cool stuff - I like the the steelbook is still the regular case inside of a metal sleeve instead of replacing the whole case. T-shirt is cool, too. And the artbook is fantastic.

The play is really fun, and combos are easy to pull off and feel great. It kind of feels like Guacamelee's fighting style, at least with Gwendolyn - lots of using dashes to extend combos. And most notable, everything seems in the right place - when I am looking for a feature it always seems to be exactly where it should be.

Yeah, on the flash sale front, if they're following last year's track, expect one two Fridays from now. Not that I won't pine for one today.

My favorite part of that article was the quote the Neo will "compliment" the PS4. How exactly? Unless you can link the two together for a "Super Neo" then they are competitors.
It's like the 3DS and NEW 3DS

Same console, one just has more horse power and abilities.

Because of which, it can run more powerful software but no one really develops for it because of a smaller install base.

Any ideas about Driveclub for $7.49?
I bought the plus version which is $20 with the season pass. I think this is the better deal because from what I read about this $7.49 version it is the base model. It has not nearly as much content as the bundle I mentioned.

Game is pretty awesome by the way. It is like a Project Gotham Racing. Not super sim, but not too arcadey either. Most importantly it is fun.

It's in BETA, yet I saw it in Target on June 8th.

Do what I do. Celebrate your birthday all month long.
Happy birthday. Sorry it was a shitty week
Just a bunch of legal paperwork that had to be done, followed by a person who showed up for my birthday dinner but then decided going home to play video games and surf the web was more important than staying for dessert, and movies.

I know it's petty but, kinda hurt you know?

Add to that, just been sick all week. Nothing serious just.... nausea and bloating ever since the weather changed.

(Yea TMI, just getting it off my chest)

Nothing like a good rant to let of some steam I say. I can see passing on the movies, but no dessert :shame: ?!

Has anyone played Tearaway Unfolded for PS4 btw? Noticed its on sale @ BB, but don't really know if I should jump on it. Also played Paragon a couple weeks back, it looks really cool, but maybe I just suck at it. I feel like Gigantic caught more my interest tbh

yeah i will be bothered by those rude mofos who shows up late or leave early if i were u.
Tearaway is a cute little game with tons of collectibles. but its fun overall, would def recommend for $12.

Tearaway Unfolded was $8 in one of the last few Flash Sales, so that would probably be the better route since it also includes the soundtrack on PSN. There's a demo if you want to try it out.

The pass is $12 so I'd say $7 is good if you wanna try it and $20 is fine if you already know you'll like it since it's just a 50 cent difference

I thought the season pass was $13 and the game on sale is $7.50? No big deal really since the difference is still $0.50... But this is CAG. That $0.50 buys... Something.

Thanks, that was me! I saw that too! I also figured out how to get my Samsung TV and remote to control my PS4, which is freaking amazing. I don't think it can turn my PS4 on, though, and has a few other hiccups, but it is still totally awesome and maybe more awesome than this media remote since it sounds like the media remote can't control certain "apps" like YouTube? Maybe I will order one and give it a try... just to have yet another remote sitting around... I mean for $10... that's a lot better than $30. Something to look into at least. Thanks again. Edit: Aw, didn't realize GCU cost money. I never shop there. That's okay; using my TV remote is pretty darn good.

Does anybody know that if you buy the Capcom Combo Pack on PS3 will it allow you to download Rocketmen: Axis of Evil?  The reason I ask this is because Rocketmen is a delisted game on PSN and XboxLive arcade.  This is the only game I don't have from this pack of games.

I bought that combo pack the last time it was on sale (a month ago-ish?) and yeah, you could download Rocketmen with that.

Cool thanks for the confirmation. I did a little research and found that capcom put out a digital collection on disc years ago that includes Rocketmen.

i doubt it will be that long, they have basically said the standard ps4 can barely handle vr games, my guess is it is shown at the TGS in september and released shortly thereafter.
Even if they release it for the holiday season, I prefer to wait before picking up new tech in case there's issues that need to be worked out. Unless they have it out for Black Friday and somebody does a killer bundle with it, but fat chance of that happening.

I don't think that's true at all. All VR games have framerate requirements that have to be met or they're not getting approved for release, so they'll play the same on PS4 as Neo. They might look a bit better, but that'll be it for the difference.
