Anyone have feedback on:

Manhunt 2 PSP
Outlast Whistleblower dlc [i beat the original on ps4 and enjoyed it]
Castlevania The Dracula x chronicles (i already have SOTN and Chronicles in my backlog - should i add more?)
The Manhunt series has phenominal audio but it's the only games I can think of that actually made me sick to my stomach to play. I never finished either of them. Pretty disturbing stuff.

heard it from a good source that Vita will become more of a indie system by spring 2016. Games will still come out but 90% will be from small companies that look like tablet games. Rumor is starting in Jan or march Sony will flip the PSN to more PS3/4 games and all vita games will be indie games no more cart games released... though not sure how much more they even have on Vita they could put out
Your own ass is not a good source.

Did your source know how to use a space bar?

So I'm in the market for a PS4 and I've been holding out for Black Friday, but target has 10% cartwheel coupon. So combined with my red card and after taxes it would cost me $315. Is it still worth waiting? I doubt with the recent price drop it will be lower than $300. The cheap ass in me is saying hold steady, but the impulse buyer is saying buy now!

Someone said the cartwheel thing doesn't work on a ps4. Either way I would wait.
Edit: nvm I though you were referring to this 10% of anything coupon every is talking about. Now I see the specific ps4 coupon. Disregard my first statement.

i would wait, you should be able to get a couple games or a gift card for around the same price on black friday

You've waited this long, don't break down so close to BF. You know there are going to be great bundles (at least), for the same price, so why not hold out for some extra value? 10% is kind of a measly discount anyway, barely covers tax in a lot of places.

Thanks everyone for the quick replies. My only concern is I have to work on Black Friday so I won't be able to physically go to any stores. So hopefully a good deal will be available online that I can order on my phone

Never even knew MX vs ATV was getting a PS4 port

Definitely intrigued by divinity original sin but considering how terrible wasteland 2 looks and plays on console I'll hold out for reviews

Plus the internet wants me to buy halo 5 next week

I've actually been enjoying Sniper Elite 3 as of the second level, which feels like a linear Phantom Pain in terms of scoping out an outpost and trying to take out enemies to not alert the whole group. It's a bit janky and doesn't work as smoothly as Phantom Pain does, but that Sniper X-ray mechanic is very awesome.

I know I shouldn't be hyping up ps plus too much since I know I will be disappointed. This is 2 year anniversary though so we might be getting some good stuff.

So that Minecraft Story Mode physical release is just the first episode and a voucher (or on-disc downloader that probably ties to your psn account?) for the rest of the season?  I wish they wouldn't jump the gun like that.  It seems like the whole point of buying physical would be to, you know, have the full game on disc.

I'd much rather they just waited until the series was out and put out a physical version like they did with the other Telltale episodic releases (not that I'm super interested in a non-Minecraft Minecraft, anyway, but you know)...

Is that River City game a part of the Kunio-Kun series? If so, I'm in! Japanese-made games are why I bought a PS4!!!
Yup, this game was originally released on the DS. Looks like they gave the characters a more retro vibe which is awesome.

Realistically, there may be a PS4 Black Friday Bundle that may save you some extra cash, but Sony didn't even need to do the recent price cut because of how great sales have been. $315 for a PS4 is a smokin' deal.

It would be great if we could get the Kunio Kun Dodgeball game that is on XBLIG on PS3 or PS4 since it won't be available to play when XBLIG goes down next year. But I will buy this one this week because hopefully we can get an up-rezzed port of River City Ransom on PS4 at least.

I would love to see that. Was a big fan of Renegade, River City Ransom and the Dodgeball series.

I still have my NES copies of River City Ransom, Super Dodge Ball, and World Cup Soccer. Still need to come across a copy of Crash N the Boys Street Challenge.

From what I'm reading, the ability to play XBLIG games isn't going away next year, or did I miss something?

  • In September 2017, we’ll stop selling XBLIG games, close the store and pay out all money earned by developers. Of course, players will still be able to re-download games they own and continue to play the games they own.
  • Longer term, over the next two years we’ll be working with game conservationists and creators to preserve the legacy of XBLIG content. We look forward to sharing more details in the future.

I'm considering selling my physical of Siren and picking up the cheap digital -- either way, I plan on playing in PC assuming it works well. Also considering GrimGrimoire and Darkstalkers (the latter is still a bit more than I'd like to spend, but I don't know how long it'll take for 75% off).

2 year anniversary of PS+? I'm like on my third or forth annual membership though? You mean the free games I assume, cause I don't know when that started.
