the PS1 games weren't overly praised when they were new more than 15 years ago, and we all know how well PS1 games have aged

split second is excellent

I too would like to know which Disney games are good, primarily the Ps1 games
I was just about to ask this... I love getting the older games. Any recommendations? I usually youtube each and every game before I buy it, but just rather take someone's genuine opinion on the game based on their experience. Thanks in advance.

On Average you're caught on more than 75 Camera's a day.
So what?! You want Redbox to see you and track your rental, where that information can be used to build a psychological profile by government organizations like the NSA, FBI or CIA not to mention marketers? No thanks.

For those looking for Disney game recommendations, I can vouch for the quality of Disney Universe. It's a very good co-op game to play with your kids, in a similar vein to Disney Infinity. Also Disney Epic Mickey 2 is pretty decent. Definitely worth a gander at $5.00.

Where is Castle of Illusion and Ducktales on this sale?

Your rental habits are already tracked and profiled based on what you're renting, when and where from.

Same as your Netflix and Hulu habits.

Been playing Just Cause 3 and while I'm enjoying it, the technical issues are kind of crazy right now. I've had the game crash to the dashboard four times in about six or so hours of playing with twice occurring during the first base your asked to liberate and the third happening during a cutscene that I got into as a helicopter was furiously after me. There are definitely some framerate issues, which don't bother me to the point of dropping the game completely but it does sour the experience a bit since I don't feel like it's consistently tied to the chaotic moments where it could at least earn it a bit if a lot happened at once.

The load times are an interesting thing because they've been all over the place for me, so I'm going to time them to see if I can figure out what's going on.

Initial load to main menu with online login: 1:42

Not uncommon for open world games and continuing from the main menu has you instantly playing from there on.

Fast Travel (Same Island): 0:26

Decent time for warping across the map. I'm too early to test longer distances.

Challenge Load Start (Race): 0:04

Challenge Retry (Race): 0:43

Challenge Exit (Race): 0:01

Challenge Load Start (Destruction): 2:41

Challenge Retry (Destruction): 1:00

Challenge Exit (Destruction): 1:51

Seems like when the game can just start or drop you off right where you are with minimal changes necessary, it's almost nothing at all and I can confirm this was true with the wingsuit challenges when playing earlier. When it has to warp you across the map like a form of fast travel, it's a decent wait time that's comparable to the fast travel time. If the game has to reset a base that I already decimated to liberate it, it's a significant wait to start that challenge and exit back to the real version of the world. It's so weird that it's so nakedly transparent to see why it takes so long after timing these situations. There's a possibility that network issues before and during the launch might have inflated times a bit, but these specific times don't see that way with the quick start/exit times on the race.

AC Syndicate has taken a good bit longer than I expected.  Something's a bit off for me compared to AC4 but still really enjoyed it as a whole even if it's one of the glitchiest games I've ever played.

Yea, I really liked it. At least they're back on the right track. I wouldn't mind them taking a year off to develop the next one though.

I want to see the next one star...

Thought that could have some nice potential. Though it would be guaranteed to be a hot mess since that's what happens with the odd numbered mainline games. Surprised at how much post game content there is too. Usually it's just go collect whatever you haven't.

Hercules is 2.5D so it appears to hold up the best based on some of the reviews of the various PS1 games I watched.

Does anyone know when the VGA sale is going to activate?

Additionally, is there any site that has already compared the XBONE version to the PS4 version with Just Cause 3?

A couple friends on Facebook mentioned that Hercules and Toy Story 2 are pretty fun (and Buzz kills people with a lazer in TS2...)
Of course if you want to see Buzz kill people with a lazer, you could always just play Fallout 4.

Heads up, there's a Masterpass coupon (MASTERPASS3) you can use on Rakuten that's $15 off $50.  This allows you to get PS+ for $35 or a $50 PSN card for $40 (they are priced at $55 unfortunately).  You might also be able to get a nice Dualshock 4 deal.  You must check out with Masterpass, but you do not need a Mastercard, you can use any credit card on Masterpass.  Also use coupon CYBERWEEK to get extra Rakuten points on your order.

No way in hell I'm giving them my credit card information. You can use Paypal with Rakuten, but not for this deal of course.

And this has nothing the fuck to do with having devices use facial recognition to identify you. Yes, every corporation does its best to profile us -- and they likely share information both with other corporations and with the NSA and other ABC agencies.

Why the fuck would you also want to voluntarily advocate having random devices [like movie rental systems of all things] to install full facial recognition systems to identify and track you too just so the extremely rare case of someone replacing a dvd with a piece of paper might be prevented? What is wrong with you to think this is an appropriate prevention system?

Not only is it absolutely overkill... not only is it a massive invasion of privacy... but even on a practical level it's absolutely absurd for Redbox to spend the money on a project of this sort when, as mentioned before, the rare case of a stolen disc is completely covered by standard loss coverage.

I mean, shit, things have been shoplifted for thousands of years. That doesn't mean we put armed guards at the entrance of every 7-11, or force nude strip searches every time you leave Target, or require 'Papers Please' every time you enter a Starbucks. We deal with it, just like we always have, and the world still spins round and round.

It's fucking insane I even need to type this out. What the fuck happened to this world where people advocate just pissing all over privacy and freedom just so a fucking movie rental is [mostly] guaranteed to be there for them [even though it was anyway].

I rented Snoopys Grand Adventure  and Adventure Time Investigates from redbox recently. If anything it's helping soften my nsa file :D/

am a big conspiracy theorist an don't trust the government far as i can see them. but same time i don't try wave a red flag fearing them tracking me. which the harder you try an avoid them, the more you draw attention to yourself, with them wondering what you're trying too hide. MIT well go everywhere in a mask, so you can keep your freedom too hide.

the government does want control, yes. but it control for order, not suppression. { long no secrets are involved} they don't care you watch porn, leave your house only on Tuesday an sleep with random men. but they are interested in statics too help sell products or find patterns that illegal activities tend too follow so they can catch them easier.

or maybe am wrong an we all will be in chains soon, since were giving are rights away will see...

Saw your post last night and knew you had to have been talking about that trophy. Man fuck that trophy. Took like 5 hours driving doing it post game.

Fortunately I looked at the list again while I was in like sequence 7 and realized I better start driving through every single object I see. Stopped fast travelling and would just mow down everything point to point and while looking for collectibles or I would have had to spend hours just doing it. Wasted a ton of time opening chests and collecting helix glitches before I realized they weren't part of the trophies in this one...

I guess we haven't heard anything about a potential VGA sale on PSN, have we?  There's one on XBL and a fairly similar one on Steam and would rather pick up Life is Strange on PSN should we get a similar sale.

Get the physical LE w/ art book in January. Or better yet, wynaut get both? My GOTY!

Awesome!

Based on the other sales I would guess Tales from the Borderlands, Axiom Verge and Rocket League are likely. Then your CODs and Destinies and what not and maybe a couple other PSN exclusives.

Edit- Yep, the multiplatform stuff that's in the other sales is on sale on PSN too.

Life is strange worth $10?
I might pick it up, seems like a good enough price. I'd get Tales, but I already watched it all on YouTube with the same choices I'd make.

Seems like it if you like story based adventure games.

Now to decide if I get it on PSN for the platinum trophy or on XBL just because I have 10 times as much credit sitting around.
