I'm wondering the same thing on both accounts.

I asked the ME dlc question several pages back but no one answered it. From what I can tell none of the ME3 dlc us included but ME2 dlc is.
ME2 for PS3 comes with every piece of story DLC except The Arrival (since it was released on PS3 long after the xbox 360 edition). ME3 didn't come with any other than some of the multiplayer DLC which is free.

What the heck i bought dark souls 2 school edition for full price yesterday after waiting like 6 months for a sale because my blu ray laser is broke. i want partial refund. Sony burned me.

I have some decisions to make, I have Xillia, Graces f, and Symphonia on disc. Going to see how much I can sell all three for in a lot on ebay. I could get $24.20 at GS right now but don't think that's enough to go digital on them.

Man I wish I was psychic and saw this sale coming, so I could have dumped them last week with 50% bonus.

I haven't bought anything on a Monday, knowing there is going to be some sale on Tuesday (there's always something on sale every Tuesday), unless of course the said item was on sale for the past week.

I understand buying something on Tuesday *after* looking at what's on sale. If that same item goes on sale next week, well tough luck but you have had it a week in advance. That should count for something, eh?

Stupid question and my PS+ still has a few months, but if you let it lapse, but re-subscribe, do you get the games from earlier back (just the ones you had while you were active of course)?

The Mass Effect 3 DLC doesn't come with the ME trilogy bundle (digital or disk) so buy it now because it's the cheapest it has been in a while.

You lose access to any PS+ free games you have "purchased" but you get it back when you resubscribe.

I think everyone needs to watch Sword Art Online, season two basically has
lightsabers in Call of Duty
and the first half of season one is my favorite anime

Am I looking at this wrong? Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment is a longer game (47.5 hours average per howlongtobeat.com) that was released in July 2015 and is $5 versus Sword Art Online: Lost Song (22 hours average) which was released in November 2015 for $29... so seemingly it would be a good idea to get Hollow Fragment then wait for Lost Song to hit $5 in a few months given Hollow Fragments much lower price (possible the same for Zestiria).

Would it be a bad idea to get Hollow Fragment if I've never seen Sword Art Online?
Wondering the same.

The story is really weak sauce in Hollow Fragment. The gameplay is OK...I played most of it on the Vita, which I wouldn't recommend you get...get the ps4 version since it has better graphics, improved translation and likely some other good stuff. I didn't fully watch SAO (never did the second arc yet...got bored with the Anime), but knowing the characters helps a bit.

For the price not at all, granted the game itself to me felt way harder than Lost Song but yeah for $5 it isn't bad. If I remember correctly there's a short summary but nothing in depth into the anime so you wont know the characters that well but even so the game has a different story/ending than ending of SAO in the anime.

Of course I just finished acquiring all these Tales games for PS3.  Guess I'll see if TIVs/resale are enough to switch to digital.

Re hollow fragment is a port from vita that launched at 19.99. Lost song launched at 59.99. I only picked up re hollow fragment though. I'm not a huge fan of sword art online but I figured I'd give the series a shot for 5 bucks.

I can't see Lost Song going that low. Also Hollow Fragment never got a physical retail release like Lost Song did in NA. It was digital only. Re: Hollow Fragment is also the Vita port that was ported on the PS4, so the retail price was even lower than when the Vita version released. Lost song retailed at the full 59.99 price.

With that said, Hollow Fragment is obviously the game that will give you more value. However, they are different games in terms of gameplay. So it really depends what suits your style. Though most would prefer Hollow Fragment, so that could help someone decide. Although Lost Song has a ton of playable characters; whereas Hollow Fragment you're stuck with one (but can use most of the weapons).

Also generally speaking, you really shouldn't judge a game by how long it is. If you want to breeze through both games as fast as you can and skip all the text, they are both shorter games. However, if you take the time to do most of the quests and actually read the story, it is much longer. They are both grind heavy games with more emphasis on sidequests than the main quest. It is about farming gear and leveling up your skills. I put in over 85 hours on Hollow Fragment (vita version) and maybe 45 hours on Lost Song.

Another thing to think about when comparing length, the battles in Hollow Fragment are usually much longer. For instance, the last battle will take you 40-60 mins to beat if you're not overpowered. If you're pretty strong, it will still take you 35 mins or so. For Lost Song, it was half that or less.

If you're not a fan of the anime, the games are probably nothing special unless you like niche games. Hollow Fragment is worth it to try for $5 though. If you like the anime and the characters like I do, they are more enjoyable for what they are. Mainly for the interactions between the characters. The story as a whole is whatever. The ideas were good, but not executed well. I think they could have been great games if they were polished more.

My wallet is safe considering I bought all the games I wanted during the various holiday sales. Now I can enjoy Digimon Cyber Sleuth in peace.

I'll plug SAO: reHollow Fragment as a fun game with a .hack vibe. Don't get the Vita version because the translation was apparently awful, but the PS4 game has a summary so you don't need to see the anime. If you liked the .hack games, then this one is worth $5.

Just traded in star wars battlefront to best buy for $33 and picked up the digital version. Good pick up and play real quick kind of game so nice to have digital. Wish I could get the season pass for $30 now too.

The only dungeon crawler I have played is Demon Gaze and I really liked that one. Better than Demon Gaze?
DT2 is superior to DG in pretty much every way, but there is something very accessible and beginner friendly to DG that can't be denied.

Don't switch to digital. You'll regret it down the road.
When PS3s are all broken down in 15 years, it probably won't matter too much whether I own a disc that can only be played on one, or a sequence of bits with the same limitation.

But we're all safe; trade-in values suck.

Tales games hold their value pretty well.

I'm still playing my SNES games. To each their own I guess.

Brought to you by Windows, restarting computers to install updates in the middle of work being done for over 20 years.

I guess I am just in for Crysis 3. I probably would have bought ME3 dlc if it was $1 each or like a $5 season pass deal. It is way too much for such old content. I don't even have my ps3 on me so I shouldn't even need to get this stuff. I already have a big enough backlog.

It's a turn based strategy game. I don't think it had much confusion to itself. The hitboxes/detection/occasional balance issues/and RNG fuck ery definitely were issues though.
enemies can attack you infinitely on your turn thus why I said its semi real time. If it truly was turn based then this wouldn't be an issue. Of course your units can attack enemies on their turns but since enemies are able to go through the menus faster you rarely do.

What? Clearly turn based, clearly an srpg. It's not semi-real time, like, at all. You plan your turn.

It's got faults [scouts and time based scoring system] but it also was fantastic.
As I already said the enemies take actions infinitely during your turn so its semi real time. And cover doesn't work all the time as enemies and you can randomly fire through cover and hit you at times thus why I said buggy hit detection. I still remember the one rock slab I shot at with my lancer and it somehow missed. seriously wtf.

Yes, sorry. I did mean Zestiria.

I'll think about it. But if both are about the same quality wise I'll go with Hearts for $18 less.
go for hearts r. zestiria is a mess. bugs, bad frame rate, boring combat system that takes too long to even get 4 artes to combo with, bad story that has giant plot holes timeline wise among other things. Its heavily disliked for a reason. Hearts r has the better combat and and decent amount of in game content. Its story and characters aren't great or very likable but zestirias is worse. The main issue with hearts r is that it was made on a budget so its not as good as it could of been. Its got random encounters and the rate can be a little annoying but isn't too bad with holy bottles or sanctosanct bottles in effect.

Major issues I had with it was you only have shing and hisui for alot of dungeons in the beginning and even after getting beryl and gallando you still have a pretty big gap between them and the other 4 party members joining. They also have balance issues between them. Gallando sucks as he's a semi jack of all trades master of none. and most of the characters are shoe horned into one element or 2 each. Shing and chalcedony get access to 3 elements all of which the majority of enemies are weak to so between them and beryl who has all access there's little reason to use anyone else in the party over those 3 leaving you the 4th slot which will go to kunzite or if you prefer innes.

The main character had every right to want to quit the main quest but they guilt him into it. And the villain actually being in the right kinda killed the story for me.

Currently looking at the following:

PS4
Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment $4.99

Vita
Sword Art Online -Hollow Fragment- $7.99 (one or the other; don't know if it's worth an extra $3 for portability)
Well, those extra $3 for the Vita version also get you the most notorious localization effort in recent memory (not in a good way, mind you).

Ok.. I have my eyes on

Digimon CyberSlueth everything I am seeing and reading makes it look more like a traditional Jrpg I grew up with, with actual towns and etc...along with some monster breeding mixed in... just not sure which

Battlefront: I loved Battlefront but refused to bite on the $60 for half (or less) a game, this price is tempting.

Also debating KoA DLC - I saw it was on sale on the 360 and bought it.. only to find the DLC not... I have the physical version for the PS3, but my 360 version has all the Dragon Age/Mass Effect bonus content (and supposedly runs better, cleaner, and with more effects)
