That's 10 minutes ago...

Had this been posted somewhere most people look like on the console or web store I would have forced myself to decide two hours ago. :wall:

The absolute halriousness of this thread over the past few pages has given me quite a bit of entertainment. The amount of people spending 100 dollars worth of stuff that they clearly dont even really want just to get 15 bucks back is halrious to me. It literally makes no freaking sense. But whatever to each their own i guess.

is re:RE 2 deluxe worth getting or should i get the season pass only? episode 1 was fun but idk about the rest

PS: never tried raid mode

Spent 5-6 hours going through PSN and deliberating with no idea that it's going down tonight.  Finally decide then sit her click the button for over half an hour hoping it works.  I'm going to go find somewhere to die now.  So upset with myself.

Yeah, it's halrious.

Did everybody else get their code for free psPlus for 3 months from that lawsuit today?
Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't see 3 mo of PS Plus as a choice when I signed up as far as I remember. I signed up for Rain (PS3), which later went free with PS Plus. So that was pretty worthless. Oh well.

I was going to say this. It's better just to get what you want. If you know you'll realistcally just play one game then pay $20. Paying $85 to save $15 doesn't make any sense.

Looking at the upcoming sale themes for the next 8 weeks is dissappointing. The only week that I am not ignoring outright is the naughty dog sale. Being new to the PS though im unfamiliar with that developer... Is that basically the uncharted series?

Also, does anyone else get a laugh out of another GTA sale coming? It's mindblowing how often rockstar puts their stuff on sale.

They did Jak & Daxter as well.

I know people say it every single week/month, so I apologize, but... wow... this month... and this week...  ...  ... wow.

To be fair, I can't remember a week/month that wasn't good.  They always have been, for the most part, and my main complaint is just "darn, I already bought that (now free) game" or "I want that game, but it needs to drop a little lower..."

But this week... and this month... just...

Ick.

Just leaves me wondering what went wrong and/or what they were thinking.

They thought everyone would be too busy playing Broforce to care about sales.
Game is broken with random player freezing during the levels causing you to lose momentum. It always freezes a couple seconds into the level and then sparatically throughout.
I'm having a hell of a time in the 5th level set because of it

Where do you see upcoming sales?

They did Crash too, even though they seem to have total amnesia of those years.
Amnesia? I'm pretty sure that they always bring up Crash and Jak whenever looking back at their history. They've just grown to want to do other things with the freedom they're given like some devs out there.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/03/01/ps-store-kicks-off-game-and-movie-franchise-sales-with-resident-evil/

We're going to have weekly franchise sales for the next eight weeks along with movie franchise sales to accompany them.
Well, I guess I can hope for a decent price on Black Flag next week; previous digital sales have been underwhelming.

Duuude.... if you don't already have The Last of Us Remastered, buy it during that sale.

Sounds like you would've committed suicide if you were around about nine years ago when all that came out were Rock Band DLC, some videos, and a few wallpaper. Maybe a sale on one Rock Band song.

Expectations were different back then. Those were the days of horse armor, when we were excited just to download 12 demos of games we didn't even care about and never bothered to play, when hard drives were 20gb and you couldn't get a non-physical copy of a console game even if you wanted to. Amazing how quickly things changed. WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!

Oh thats one I have been keeping an eye out for. Which week's theme would it fall inder, naughty dog?

So I don't comment a whole lot here. I lurk and just ask for clarification usually. I know a lot of you guys have already played these games we got for free this month, but some (like me) are late to the party so I'm gonna review them because I'm bored and this is literally the first month out of PS+ and GwG that I absolutely love the titles I got. I only have a PS4 so I'm just reviewing those.

Galak-Z : holy crap I didn't have high expectations for this game at all. 17-Bit produced another game I adore called Skulls of the Shogun (ya know I never thought to see if it's on the PS4...) so I figured it had to be decent at the very least. The game opens with a nice manga styled cinematic and a brief explanation of the current situation for our hero. Immediately you're thrust (pun intended... All of them are intended) into a situation where you need to maneuver your ship from point A to point B so you don't get caught by the evil imperials. I'm pretty sure they can't catch up to you but the voice acting is good enough to give you an intense feeling of get the fuck out of there. Think Robotech for the PS2/GCN/XBOX put ported onto the same platform of Bangai-O. Or maybe just a legit story mode for Asteroids. The dialogue is great, the writing hasn't let me down yet (I'm sure it can but 17-bit is a great company), and I'm having a literal blast with the game every time I turn it on. I think I'll give it an 8.5/10 as of now and if that changes for better or worse I'll definitely update. I love side scrolling games and I love space themed schmups so this was sort of tailor made for me. If you aren't big on those genres you can rest assured that the game will hold your hand to try to ease you into liking it.

Bro-Force: mother fuckers let me say right now that this is how you do a side scrolling shooter. It plays like all the other games in this genre you've played before but it's EXTREME. You take your player controlled character (there are multiple ones. I'll explain) and you basically go commando to save your Bros. You die in one hit and you can kill yourself, that's worth mentioning because shit gets hectic very fast. You'll play as the likenesses of Sly, Bruce, Snipes, Norris, Arnold, and countless others as you Bro-Down to save all of your Brommando buddies all around the world. The graphics may put off people right away but I'm not a snob. I'm an old school gamer at heart. I simply love 2D animation of any kind as long as you can tell some heart actually went into it and it def did here. The graphics look like a tinier version of Alien Hominid to me. The way the characters are built and all. I'm gonna give Bro-Force a very solid 8/10 right now because I've yet to play co-op or versus mode, if those modes don't feel like they were just thrown together for the sake of being there then I can def see this panning out to be a 9-10 honestly. Smaller sev groups just aren't making games like this anymore so you need to grab it while it's hot!

If anyone has any recommendations for me based on those reviews I'm all ears. And likewise my PSN tag is DJBigNekkid. Hope I see you guys online sometime and I hope these quick looks help some people out.

That's exactly why I avoided grabbing Rain when it went up on PS+. Now several months later and I finally got my download codes. No need to worry about it expiring.

Thanks for the the heads up about this. I didn't know there was a list of the future sales. I'm hoping to pick up Assassins Creed Syndicate, The Last of Us Remastered (Sold my hard copy awhile ago hoping for a good digital deal) GTA Trilogy, and GTA V. O:)
