I'm glad I'm not the only one. 95% of the time it's a decent kart racer but then out of the blue something crazy happens. Your car just hits something invisible and flips off the track, or randomly losses all traction, or a combat race where the weapons would only work for about the first 30 seconds of the race until I restarted the system. Probably the oddest, and first, bug I hit was in multiplayer where the homing rockets would hit you and just push you instead of exploding. Except that they would then continue to circle around you while continuing to pelt you constantly making it impossible to drive as they shoved you around.

The only bugs I'd have were random times where I'd hit the wrong wall and get stuck in it to end the race, framerate issues, and odd lag bugs in the MP where my car would start smoking with no weapon visibly hitting me or I'd run into bombs that wouldn't explode.

I will wait on the season pass-- just Sony does not offer discounts on dlc very often. They have fantastic deals on occasion for full games but I find dlc discounts to be scarce. all sales are a negotiation between publisher and the platform It seems that Sony does not seem keen to aggressively market dlc in favor of bundle products-

There's only one bit of content worth buying for the game: The Following. It's a massive expansion that replaces parkour with driving a buggy and gives you a whole new map to play in. The other DLC packs suck eggs.

Just like the main game, the drip feed skill level system for the new driving is so slow, you will finish the game before you unlock most of the cool abilities.

The ending is absolute garbage though.

I ended up not liking it but it is such a huge change and addition to the game that you shouldn't overlook it.

Glad I did not bite on Gone Home when it was on sale for the Xbox One. Been wanting to try the game but I really was hesitant to pay much.  Never played a basketball game before but for "free" I will give it a spin.

 
Wow. It was right! I'd say that's a damn good month for PS4. Don't have either and have wanted Gone Home.

Now curious about what Vita will get.

I have mixed emotions on the PS+ titles. On the one hand, we're getting a true AAA+ retail release in NBA 2K16 that won't be truly obsolete for a few more months. But I live in an area where I have one ISP option and I have a 300 GB/month data cap and NBA 2K is pretty much one of the largest downloads out there so I don't know if I can even download it next month.

If only Sony allowed us to rip from disc before switching to digital like MS does then I could just Redbox it to save all that downloading. #firstworldproblems
 
Hmmm....debating on a few of those PS2 classics. Mainly Dark Cloud and Twisted Metal Black.

But wonder whether I'll really play them with all the new stuff I have.

Rogue Galaxy was 5.99 in April, so slightly cheaper, that's when I grabbed it. This is the cheapest the Dark Clouds have been.

Where are all the indie titles Sony? If I wanted bargain bin retail games I would go to GameStop.. PS+ has really gone downhill the last 2 months offering these retail games. I knew when they started charging for online the indies were going to take a hit but this is ridiculous.. I'm not renewing my PS+ once it expires, I don't play online anyway.. they should just rename PlayStation to RetailStation..

 
Well ingame concept art for what could be GOW 4 has been shown. Apparently were going after Norse Mythology this time around. 

Also PvZ Garden Warfare 2's Zombopolis update comes out today free of charge. God I love PopCap.

This grab bag thing MS did where we sat and refreshed the webpage for 18 hours and the first thing you clicked on you got got free. I accidentally clicked on NBA 2K16 digital when there were better games and hardware available still. I think that was in like November and I finally accepted I was never going to sell it.

Wow. One of the random PS+ rumors that gets posted in here was finally right, though that's probably a bad thing to encourage them being posted here unsourced.

At least I got one of them right despite being a joke list with a few that weren't even on PSN.

NBA 2K16 for free is the right price since they continue to mess up the career mode even more with each new game, which is an impressive feat. They're not that far from NBA Live in terms of being basketball games that are a shell of what we used to have.

Gone Home is great. Echochrome's really cool. Siren is way too scary for me. God of War: Chains of Olympus is being offered one month too late since it should be played before Ghost of Sparta due to the latter being way better in both visual and combat design.

I think it's got to do with putting the game on the Dying Light engine and being too cheap to add in a second blu-ray/spring for a larger one.

IIRC, the official explanation is that Deep Silver didn't want to bother making a new menu that allowed you to choose between games, which is apparently required for PS4.

 
Know I'm being petty but I wish Rogue Galaxy had widescreen support. Actually are there any of the PS2 on PS4 games that had native widescreen modes?
