:( :( :( "59 hours left"
Pause the download, wait a few, then resume. The connection gets reestablished. If the download was stalled, it usually will resume. if it was slow, I find about 50% of the time it will be faster. Luck of the draw on the new connection. Usually about two or three times doing this, I get a reasonable download speed (at least compared to what it was before).

Anyone recommend Mad Max? Usually get multiplat on Xbox but seems like a good price and I got some credit
Cant recommend it enough. Great game, and definitely worth the current price. That being said, Im not personally going to buy it because Avalanche Studios apparently has zero interest in fixing some of the bugs that stop you from getting the platinum trophy. I already played through it once, and while it was fun enough to play again, I'd be ridiculously pissed off if it happened again. But seeing that you just said you mostly game on xbox, Im guessing you dont care too much about trophies.

FF X/X2 Remastered on PS4 sounds enticing. Though I don't know of whether I should get it on either the PS4 or the Vita
To be honest, unless you really need a digital version of it, FF X/X2 can be had for PS4 for cheaper than is on offer. Best Buy's copies are new for $20. Same with Amazon. Don't know about the Vita's prices, though.

The Vita version's price is about 20 bucks digitally. I had thought about that one to shave 5 bucks

EDIT: No wait, its 30 bucks on the Vita. Scratch that one out of the equation

Excellent flash sale for me. I had about $40 worth of other games I wanted from the 2K and Square Enix sale that started earlier this week too. I'm sooooo glad I didn't bite on Muramasa rebirth last week as I was hurting to hit the 100 dollar pricepoint. Anyways, I picked up Muramasa, Steinsgate, Mad Max, Worms Battleground, Bioshock 1, 2 and Infinite with all the dlc, Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN, Drakengard 3 and a few other titiles. Pretty happy about this, though I wish this sale went live last week during the promo, would've been much easier.

I've been getting this error for the last few hours. Anyone else having trouble giving Sony their money?

If I make a digital pre-order on Amazon (for a game not yet listed on PSN), when do i get the download code? Will I still be able to pre-load it?

Game in question is Skyrim. I had a ton of no rush delivery credit.

Picked up Game of Thrones and Tales From the Borderlands. Probably would have bought Michonne as well but no Platinum means I can wait for a better discount.

Seriously though, not sure if it is any good.... and was hoping for opinions.
It has been a while now but I played Drakengard 3 and even though I played quite a bit of the game and played through the story I don't really have fond memories of it. The story was kind of interesting for me but I felt like the performance was really bad.

A lot of the areas were "you walk into a room, the room has doors that close and you can't skip this because it's loading" and that loading is fairly frequent and you gotta defeat all the enemies in that room before there's loading of the doors opening up before moving on. I also felt like the combat wasn't super responsive and kind of difficult at times as a result. The story can be a bit vulgar at times which didn't really bother me but is probably worth mentioning.

Most of my other issues with it I feel like I would probably wind up spoiling the game by mentioning, but the rest of that is what I remember although it was at launch that I played it.

Edit: It did have good music although a lot of that were obscured to me during my actual playthrough by some of the frustrations I encountered.

I also feel like the actual graphics looked fairly bad especially for how much loading the game had to do, aside from the actual main characters where I feel like they funneled everything into. As far as the vulgarity I mentioned, they mention a lot of sexual related stuff in the game which could bother some people.

Fully going to admit this here, I had the game at one time period.
I bought it from BestBuy when it was on sale, coupled with GCU and never got around to playing it.

Months later I sold it for more than I paid....

I don't believe that's got much established history. The likely unhelpful answer is you'll probably get it once Amazon has the code to give you and my guess would be that won't be until it's released. It's been a while since pre-ordered a digital PC game from them but I recall getting it on release.

I can't really blame you there, if you bought it with the intention of playing it but wound up getting a small profit because you had so many other things to play. It's sort of the positive ending to the "crap I just bought this for full price and it went on flash sale right after" or "I bought this for $60 and a month later it's less than $20".

I don't think you are really missing out if you or anybody else decide not to get it, although at $10 it's not a huge huge loss even if somebody gets and it winds up not being their cup of tea. I just feel like the game's performance really gets in the way, and it can be difficult sometimes to actually see in gameplay videos.

Anyone play ffXIV and want some in game content codes? amazon had some promotion where you got codes for the game when spending money on anythng in the video games department, ends tomorrow. PM me

I could use it, I had one, but one of my kids used it for their account

Thanks! That's okay; it's not unhelpful. I suppose it is the price I pay for using up all my "no rush shipping" credit rather than just buying it outright on PSN. Then again, there is no pre-order on PSN either (Skyrim Special Edition), so it might not pop up on there until release day either.

I got the Platinum but I almost burned out on it about a third to halfway through when I had seen almost all the enemies and areas. They could have told the whole story in 10-15 hours with a couple characters and left the others to use for fun if you wanted. In hindsight, I should have played one character's story and then played something else for a while instead of trying to plow through everything.
Man you weren't lying, I'm on the third character and yea I'm already burned the fuck out lol. I'd take a break but I have it locked in at $40.xx tiv at Amazon so I have to get through it and plat it.

Yeah, I had a lot of fun playing on Hard mode with the first character but the game loses its appeal pretty quickly after that. Seems like they just wanted to be able to claim they had a 30 hour story mode even though about 20 hours of that time is spent going back through content you've already played just to see a new bit of story here and there.

Just turn the difficulty down to easy and you can blow through the remaining chapters in 2-3 hours each since you can get the Platinum on any difficulty.

I am debating Drakengard 3...
Most unlikable main character in any game that I've ever played. The gameplay wasn't good enough to get me by that and the awful graphics.

Can anyone clarify if RE 5 is coming out tomorrow or on July 12th? On retail websites (Gamestop, Amazon) I see the 12th, but on other websites I see it listed for tomorrow the 28th.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/06/27/a-starter-guide-to-god-eater-resurrection-out-628-on-ps4-ps-vita/

If you're interested in God Eater Resurrection, it seems like the best offer they're going to have for it is that it'll be free with PSN pre-orders of God Eater 2 Rage Burst whenever that is up for pre-order before its 8/30 launch. You'll also get themed costumes from a few other Namco games like Sword Art Online and others.
A code for Resurrection will also be included in the physical Day-One Edition of GE2: Rage Burst: https://www.amazon.com/God-Eater-2-Burst-PlayStation-4/dp/B01EU09FB0

Obviously the downside is that you'll have to wait to play Resurrection when it technically releases tomorrow, but you can save $12 if you're a Prime member.

Played some Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble this weekend (psp game on Vita).  It definitely is my kind of game!  It has a hint of Shenmue (being on the clock to get stuff done during the day, people being on schedules that you try to track down, having the freedom to go roam around, talking to people, a limited amount of collecting stuff, etc) and maybe more to the point Yakuza (the fighting being such a huge part of the experience).  The humor level is great... I'd say that's almost more in lines with Tokyo Beat Down (DS).   I don't intend to spoil any of it but it was easily my favorite tutorial of any game ever just because of how creative they were to include it.

Anyway, I'm glad I took a break from Shantae The Pirate's Curse (very near the end of it on 3DS but frustrated with some of the platforming) and fired the Vita up to play this.  It's a shame none of the other games in the series made it out of Japan.

Other people may know this by now but I just read that Valkyria Chronicles is downloadable directly onto and playable on the PSTV and PS Vita.  No PS3 needed.

Last I checked, you could buy it through the ps vita store, but couldnt download it, so they must have recently fixed that. Downloading it now. Thanks for the heads up!
