Is PS4 notification the only way to get your $15 voucher? I'm sorta on a different continent. :/ For some reason I was thinking that it would be an email or added directly to my wallet.
Mine showed up via email just now, with the voucher code in the email.

Redeemed no issue via the website.

This new ESO update being 16 GB should make it one of the largest games on the system at about 86 or 87 GB should the data math work it out right, which I believe is up there with Halo 5 for largest games this generation.

Lovely. Making it all the more likely that it'll sit in my cabinet. Thankfully, only spent $5.99 on it at Redbox.

Frisky did you get all the feedback from that Stories thread that was here the other day?

Apparently your OP is too "list-y", and it's way too hard to read a list of games. So can you please list all the games on sale each week without having it look so list-y? Thanks!

well this may be getting an uninstall. Was planning on going back to it, but that is eating up too much space at the moment.

Audio file of Frisky reading all the deals in op plz.

you know that updates overwrite existing data right. so what any new patches say are actually much less added to the total, but it still may make you download that much.

Ended up getting both. lol
I got Talos Principle, The Handsome Collection and Guacamelee Super Turbo earlier but ending up removing Soma from the cart for now. Still have that and a few others to think on before the sale ends.

Already have Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel on PC but I'm missing all the TPS DLC and a handful of the B2 DLC. Figured $15 is probably going to be the cheapest it gets for a while and I've been looking forward to playing through everything again and getting the trophies.

Run down of DRPGs released so far on Vita

Stranger of Sword City - solid dungeon design, hard, blank slate characters, lots of lewt

Dungeon Travelers 2 - fantastic dungeon design, hard, job tree / fixed characters, massive content

Operation Abyss - great dungeon design, based on old game so interface a bit wonky

Demon Gaze - beginner friendly, very accessible, fun for drpg pros too.

Mind Zero - bland but servicable if you beat everything else. Cool combat system but everything else is bland x 100.

Ray Gigant -- haven't played yet. supposed to be wayyyy too easy.

Moe Chronicles -- fanservice heavy, asian import [english] only, i haven't played it.

PSP --

Elminage original

Class of Heroes 1/2

----------------------------

Demon Gaze, Op Abyss and Stranger of Sword City all feel 'related' in terms of gameplay. Op Abyss has some archaic interface decisions but is still very playable [and has the best dungeon design of the three]. Demon gaze is the most accessible. Stranger of Sword City is the best, overall.

I'm about to plat SoSC and have plat'd Dt2, Demon gaze, Op Abyss, and Mind Zero.

----------------------------

One more comment: Demon Gaze was probably the best dungeon crawler on the Vita til Dungeon Travelers came out. And it's still better than Operation Abyss (same people as Demon Gaze). Only one I'm not sure about is Ray Gigant, cause I haven't played it. So it's still in the top three, IMO.

That said, based on the above, and its age, I still would say don't buy it over ~$10.
personally I'd go

1) SoSC

2) DT2

3) Op Abyss

4) Demon Gaze (unless you're new to genre, in which case it's #1)

...

...

...

...

Mind Zero [i enjoyed this, but they dropped the ball having no real lewt.]

It is a valid complaint. The first page is extremely listy.

Can we vote for changes? I vote that Frisky sends us personalized lists of what he thinks we should buy. He's on this site all day. He should know us by now. I don't want to burden him too much so just start with CAGiversary first and he can expand from there.

You should get an email too. I got it today like 12 hours after the PSN notification.

Hmm, not sure if I should purchase GoW 3 Remastered. I liked the original, but didn't love it. It would be much more compelling if the entire series was made available in 1080p 60fps.

Yeah, it's a hard sell to anyone that still owns the PS3 version since it's just the one game with the only additions being better graphics and performance. I would be on board for $15 or less if it was all 3 main games with 3 Platinums like the Uncharted collection.

I don't think it's FriskyTanuki's job to tell us what to buy; just what's available and for what prices. I would like to have Metacritic ratings next to each game, but it's not realistic. If I want to know which games to buy, I have to do the footwork and look up the reviews myself. Alternately, you could always ask other CAG members if game X is worth the money.

I like Frisky' style.  I come in on Tuesday look at the list (especially the Free section, since I hate digging through that myself) then I go to the store and check out the sale by myself. I also like this thread (though I remember when it used to have chatter/random moments...that was more fun), it deviates at time, but it would be pretty static if people didn't deviate from time to time.

Just based on the list you can't really get an idea of what a game is, take for example "Stories". You check reviews online, then you check some game play and then you decide or ask other CAGs what they think, but I only do that if I have read that the game has frame rate issues or some other random error.

People just need to stop being lazy and stop expecting other CAGs (or anyone for that matter) to do their homework :shame:

Has anyone tried AC: India and Russia?

I finished China and actually liked it.
Was wondering if it was more of the same or if they're bad compared to China.

Yeah the random off topic stuff was the best!

Well, that's strange.....It shows up in my PS4 library but according to the PSN store I don't own Metal Slug Anthology and I didn't get the theme that was supposed to come with it either.

I enjoyed all three on Vita, but AC: China still felt like the strongest of them. If I had to rate them, I'd say AC: China > AC: Russia > AC: India.

I platinumed the trilogy, and there are enough differences to warrant playing all 3. That said, Russia is the weakest entry and can be very frustrating especially if trying to get all the trophies. Also keep in mind the stand alone games do not give the platinum like the trilogy does, and the trophy lists are separate for the stand alone games and the trilogy.

Not sure how the whole game will be, but picked up Leo's Fortune because it was cheap.  The art/graphics are amazing.  Maybe better than ubi art.

I think only the retail (disc) version has a plat - from what I've heard (I haven't purchased it myself), the trilogy listing on the PSN store is for the 3 separate games and does not include the plat.

I was just about to ask about this. Since I already had China, I went ahead and bought India and Russia. But looking in the store right now, it says I own the Trilogy also, and can download to my PS4. Don't know how it would implement separate trophy lists unless the Trilogy is a separate download.

It's just a bundle of the games, not a new thing itself.

So, Dynasty Warriors or Samurai Warriors?

I just feel like playing a Warriors game, so which would be best? I was thinking it would be Samurai, but I still thought I should check first.
