I decided I'm not going to use my 20% off code.  Lots of stuff I could buy, but the backlog is just too long.  I'm gonna wait.  Does anyone know if the 20% off code is transferable or if its tied to my PSN ID?  I'd be happy to give it away here so someone else can use it.

Played a bit of Trails of Cold Steel on my PSTV before I semi-retired it. But enjoyed what I played. Since it isn’t available on PS4, maybe this will be a good substitute. Thanks!

FYI, Tokyo Xanadu is an action-RPG with more Kingdom Hearts-like combat compared to Cold Steel's turn-based system.

Tokyo Xanadu EX is akin to a Ys game. The story is pretty OK at best, and the structure of the game is a slight bit repetitive, but also OK. The dungeons are a little samey as well, but the game play for the dungeons is fun. I also enjoy the boss battles, which can be a big challenge. I'd recommend the game, but it's not an amazing game. Still fun enough to play.

 
I don't know how far into the game I am, but for those of you who got the platinum trophy for God of War did you wait until "post game" to go back and get the rest of the collectibles/chests/kill those pesky ass ravens or did you try to do that stuff as you went along and unlocked the ability to do so?

I'm sorta trying the latter, but I think it's just confusing me as to where I need to remember to go back to. But on the other hand, there might be some cool stuff to help me through the game. Bah.

I am working on the platinum now and I am doing mostly everything with collectibles and the side quests now after I completed the main quest in the game. I have finished Muspelheim and completed all of Brok and Sindri’s Favors after I finished the main quest. I have gotten all the artifacts in every location besides the lake of nine. I am working on finishing Niflheim right now and then I plan to see the Queen. Finally I will get the last missing ravens, collectibles and treasure maps locations.

It's not great, but it's better than what we got last week (unfortunately, most of it has already been purchased for more). I'm in for Fe at the very least. Maybe also The Coma: Recut Deluxe, which is cheaper than the standard for some reason.

I think I might wait until tomorrow just to compare against what the June PS+ games are.

It's better to find stuff as you go along because backtracking through that game is a mother. However, there is still lots of post-game dialogue to unlock after you beat the game, so I still found it kinda fun revisiting locations.

Definitely wait until after you beat it before taking on any of the Muspelheim Trials, Niflheim Mist or Valkyrie challenges and equip yourself with the best armor/weapon upgrades first.

Definitely wait until after you beat it before taking on any of the Muspelheim Trials, Niflheim Mist or Valkyrie challenges and equip yourself with the best armor/weapon upgrades first.

I guess I will wait for post game to backtrack through and get what I missed. It's sort of a pain to backtrack as I go because I keep running into stuff I can't get yet. Without potentially spoiling anything, (as an example) is there an easy way to travel back to the very start if one were to want to re-comb through every area to find missed collectibles?

Yes, you'll be able to travel back to every location after you beat it through portals. You'll still have to start at very specific points though and end up backtracking through a lot. But worry not, you'll be able to access everything at the end of the game.

For the best possible experience, I would suggest not visiting the inside of your home until AFTER you've completed everything else. Trust me.

I too can vouch for xmorph defense. I really love the action slash Tower Defense hybrid and had a blast getting the Platinum. I'm even considering the DLC right now and I never buy DLC

I played NNK2 and Tokyo xanadu back to back. TX is such a better game in every area except graphics. Definitely give it a chance! It's the same dev as Ys 8, so play that one too. P5 will last you a good long while though.

Oh crap, I'm glad I saw this. I just assumed it would be good until 11:59 PM PT at the end of the month.

I decided to pass on Fear Effect: Sedna. Looking at reviews, it's a bad game, and knowingly buying a bad game seems silly. Besides, I think there's a decent chance it will be tossed in as a pre-order bonus for the Fear Effect remake.

I'll probably get Arizona Sunshine instead. I plan on getting an Aim controller during the Days of Play sale at the end of next week, so it will be nice to have more Aim games.

It's great. I've beaten all of the levels on Fun difficulty and am working on Tricky along with rainbowing as many of the stages as possible. It's not as good as the original, but it's still a good challenge and looks great to boot. Q-Games is working on a big update to add some more camera options and a photo mode along with the season pass adding two more area's worth of levels.

Alright, you three have sold me. I only tolerate tower defense games until they require constant attention not unlike 8 annoying children spread across 4 rooms in the house all crying at you because they're all simultaneously hungry, shat their pants, and about to slip out of their high chairs.

The slick, destructive twin-stick shooter aspect and co-op (and 20% off) gives it instant appeal, despite its awful Dollar-Tree-action-figure name.
