The game got crapped on so hard because it wasn't Saints Row and the dungeon structure was a little repetitive. But the game is an insane amount of fun. I enjoyed getting the plat except for the one collectable that there is no way you find it without a guide.

I didn't think it was trying to be funny. It had some silly one liners and some out of place vulgarity, but I didn't think that was the direction the game was trying to go. More like, you like Saints Row because of its vulgarity right, so here's some vulgarity.

Probably just signed their own death warrant. Fortnite and PUBG are too big to go up against unless you're Activision or EA. They won't be getting my money, that's for sure.

Ugh. Well, i love housemarque so dont wish them any ill will. If this does hurt them badly, i hope sony steps in and buys them and sets them back on making dual stick shooters.

For me, super stardust was a defining game of ps3, and resogun was a defining launch title for ps4. Dead nation and alienation were awesome. Oh, and super stardust for vita was also amazing. And nex machina was a masterpiece.

I want them making ps5 games, specifically, arcade games.

That sucks, because I liked Nex Machina, but to be honest, it didn't have much replay value for me. I really dug the gameplay, but I think the shortness and "arcade-ness" of it really hurt it. I don't think "getting a higher score" is enough of a carrot to keep a lot of people playing. They should have kept the core gameplay, added more levels (with more varied environments), maybe some new weapons and upgrade options, some story .... SOMETHING to give it a little more meat on its bones.

I mean, without any context sure. But in context, you're completely missing the point. Housemarque went on record stating they aren't making arcade games anymore.

That alone would be enough ammunition for people who loved their output to complain about any new Direction. When you add on the fact that entering an oversaturated Market could result in a massive failure that ends them, complaining about their new direction makes even more sense.

This isn't just about " if you don't like it don't buy it", which in general is an absolutely correct sentiment that I agree with wholeheartedly. However in this case, it's not about the game itself but the future of the company. The act of not buying could put one of our favorite companies in jeopardy, the end of an era. That's a bit different than not buying something you don't like.

The proper response to a company making content you don't like is simply not to buy it. But that does not mean the proper response to a beloved company potentially going astray is to simply shut up and not buy their new product. Discussion is perfectly relevant in that case.

I didn't really like it. I got it because everyone was praising it, and I liked Dead Nation. But it's so fast action with no way to go back, and I finished half of the objectives before I realized what the objectives were, and it wasn't really fun that way.

It felt like I was shooting at everything and being pushed forward by an invisible wall. And there was nothing else.

I've decided to pass on the other three games on sale that I'm interested in. Besides with my current backlog and other games that I've pre-ordered at GS I'll be busy for a while.

It was fine for the first few minutes (Phoenix - Lisztomania, yes!), but I skipped ahead in the video just to get a general feel and accidentally stumbled into a massive story spoiler. Snap-closed the tab with immediate regret, but it was too late, I already saw everything, LOL.

Just a few days ago I did suggest that we argue about The Last of Us. I'll get started, I both think that it is the greatest game of all time full of wonderful characters and one of the greatest video game stories ever. Also it is boring and unplayable and absolutely no one should play it. To be clear, I have never played the game.

For me, super stardust was a defining game of ps3, and resogun was a defining launch title for ps4. Dead nation and alienation were awesome. Oh, and super stardust for vita was also amazing. And nex machina was a masterpiece.

My very first trophy was from Super Stardust. Pretty sure my first on PS4 was from Resogun. Would hope the streak doesn't end there.

You're just salty because you don't really own the PS Plus version of The Last of Us you didn't play that was never PS Plus. What will you do when Sony pulls the servers? How will you not play it then tough guy?
