I cannot get the "Add to Cart" button to pop on the game page for the digital deluxe version of Spider-Man. The regular one pops up fine. I hate PSN 99% of the time for stupid shit like this.

Be sure to check your e-mail for a code...

...for a countdown to launch theme.

I find it weird when some people have this issue. I bought God of War 9pm when it came out and I had it by 9:30.
how do people get such fast downloads? I have Comcast high speed internet and downloading a game like God of War can take a full day

is tekken 7 dlc worth it for $10? I have read several negative reviews on it.
thanks in advance
The reviews were negative because they were selling a small amount of content for $25. I could justify spending $10, though. The bowling is a fun distraction and Geese Howard is great if you're an SNK fan or just never adapted to the Tekken style of gameplay. Nearly all of his moves work like they did on the Neo-Geo, with quarter and half circle motions used to trigger them.

You also get Noctis from Final Fantasy XV, if that makes any difference. I didn't enjoy that game and don't have any attachment to the character, but he's at least fun to beat up. His loser friends also join him in the bowling alley, which I admit was a nice touch.

Kinda wish that eliza girl was part of the tekken season pass. I don't think she comes included in new copies anymore...

I just got around to replaying Uncharted remastered. I played the game several times before Dash I beat it and loved it before there were trophies, then beat it when trophies came out to unlock crushing and beat it on crushing. This play through I just went straight to crushing since it's unlocked from the get go. So at least my fourth, and this one is after I've played the rest.

Man, I keep hearing people say the first one age badly, but I got to say I loved it once again. I had a blast revisiting it, and found crushing quite reasonable. I'm going to take a few months break before I hit Uncharted 2 remastered. But I can't wait.

OMG. I always forget just how SLOW PSN downloads are. Got Spider-Man at 6 pm EST and it still has 5 hours left! On my Xbox One X, it would have been downloaded in an hour.
Guess I won’t be playing at midnight. :(
Try pausing and restarting the download. If that doesn't work try restarting your PS4.

Spy Chameleon is a decent indie game for $2. It's a top down stealth game where the character changes colors so he won't be seen. Plenty of levels and a fairly good progressing difficulty.

Every time I read/hear someone say that the original Uncharted hasn't aged well, I assume they just haven't played it in awhile!

Sure, it certainly isn't as good/hasn't held up as well as any of the other Uncharted games (included Lost Legacy, IMHO), but it's still a fantastic game that plays very, very well in 2018!

Love PS4 exclusives but coming from Xbox One, the noise the PS4 makes when playing any graphically intensive game is unbelievable. Oh well, probably need to start playing with headphones.

Spider-Man is fantastic so far though.

Glad you mentioned this. I probably would have booted mine up later and wondered if something was wrong with it.

Need you guy's CAG expertise.I can get a ps vr, camera, gun contoller and doom vr for 160/180...is it worth it at that price?

I usually manually set DNS for devices accessing PSN to Google's public DNSs and it seems to speed things up. 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

I agree that a 60$ game should feel complete. But if dlc is well done, passes over time totaling 150 or more are acceptable. Me as a software developer, gotta support the game developers. I played Destiny 2 for 3+ years. No way they could've been paid to keep going on a 60$ base game.
Spend 210 for a game to be complete and fixed.

Played Destiny 2 for 3 years... ill assume you meant destiny 1 since 2 hasnt even been out a year.

Biggest complaint i saw when destiny 2 came out, they took destiny 1 added a new story and removed content. That you get in the expansions now..... thats why many people hate destiny 2.

When asked about dlc, Octopath Travellers devs responded “no, we made a complete game” so very damn true.

I let the hype get me and passed on DQXI for Spider Man. Really regretting it. It might be an unpopular opinion but Spider Man isnt really as good as everyone is making it out to be. The camera sucks and the open world is pretty boring. It's like a crackdown game with web slinging. It just isn't that deep. It's no God of War. Go with DQXI.
Spider-Man or Dragon Quest XI, what’s the better buy right now. Thoughts?

What are the odds that those of us who got The Surge Complete Edition -for free- gets the upcoming ‘The Good, the Bad, the Augmented’ DLC for free too?

Being a lifelong Spidey fan made this purchase easy, but my 12 year old daughter has put more time into that I have already! Absolutely love this game. System seller (for the few that don’t have one) for sure.

I went Dragon Quest and am enjoying it so far. Feels good to be playing a DQ console release again. I'll get Spidy on a discount once the hype dies down or Gamefly it as it will probably be readily available.

Damn now I feel even more pissed. Played 2 hrs of Spider-Man and haven't really wanted to go back. Really regretting not going with DQ.

Me and my kids are playing DQ together. It's awesome. Watching them laugh when we find a cruelcumber is well worth the price of admission. That said I wish I had Spider-Man to play at night. I just beat Uncharted again and I'm looking for something to scratch the itch and none of the umpteen billion games I already own are calling out to me.

Idk why some ppl aren't liking Spider-Man. I loved it from the first few minutes of playing it. It's nice to have a good superhero game for a change.

As long as you are expecting traditional JRPG, it is fantastic. A few changes with the skill system and certainly other tweaks, but this is old school RPG goodness through and through. Looks incredible, cast of characters incredible. Bought this and Spider-Man this week and both are absolutely worth the price of admission.

Is Dragon Quest really that good?

I agree.

Just wanted to pop in and say it's super confusing when someone responds to a post, and then quotes it afterward.
I'm very excited that I won't be adding to my backlog with Dragon Quest. As much as I want it, I know it's too much game right now.

On the bright side, I finished Inside, Knack and Telltale Games Guardians, so that's three off my list. Maybe attacking Tearaway next.

Did you enjoy Inside? That ending sure was strange. Telltale Guardians was disappointing to me. If you havent’t yet, you should check out the two Batman Telltale titles with the second season being the stand out.

I finally got that platinum for Oxenfree and beat Detroit: Become Human and Pyre, both great games. Was surprised about how much I enjoyed Detroit, after the disappointment that was Beyond: Two Souls.

I like it, but it didn't blow me away or anything. Basically just batman combat with open world web slinging.

Also, all the stealth sections where you were MJ or Miles were boring. Easily the weakest part of the game.

Been playing a bunch of Dragon Quest XI and Spider-Man this weekend and am enjoying both a great deal.

It's nice to have Dragon Quest back on a console for the first time in far too long, which is a breath of fresh air after FFXV and the Tokyo RPG Factory games. I do wish they had modernized certain aspects of the game, like being able to save anywhere and auto advance for dialog.

Spider-Man has also been a lot of fun to play, especially the Spider-Man lore and easter eggs throughout the game. The main collectibles, suits, and all that have a lot of cool history and such about himself and his villains. Though I'm still getting a hang of the controls for the combat, it has been a good spin on Arkham-style combat with no counters and more flexibility to it. The variety of suits is pretty great, especially since you can equip a special power independent of the suit, which is nice. I've spent a majority of the game so far ignoring story stuff and getting all of the towers and backpacks to get used to the web swinging controls and exploring the island.

Well I just beat Spider-Man and got the platinum. It was fairly easy to accomplish. I actually enjoyed the story and a majority of side stuff.

Just a word of advice for anyone trying to platinum the game, save your challenge tokens for suit unlocks. They aren't abundant like the rest and getting a perfect score on challenges is a pain.

I bought both but I figured Spider-Man would only get played til i finish the story (which has been great) but I could probably platinum it if i didn't mess up buying the suits since i used a couple of base tokens

Base tokens are pretty easy to get since you can replay them and just do the bonus stuff for more.
