Won't it affect your purchases if the address on your account and credit card are different? Does Sony ever send anything via snail mail that you could miss receiving?

Yeah you’d might want to avoid it if you were to get the digital edition of GoW that came with the pin or something. But I’ve never received anything physically sent in the mail from Sony.

I got my first girlfriend when I was 17 and it lasted three months. I got my second girlfriend when I was 36 and we are still together five and a half years later. That was 19 years of being lonely in the middle there. Yeah, it sucked, but it'll happen when it's meant to happen. That doesn't mean to wait around and let it just come to you because it won't. It's hard to find places to meet people these days. I never went to bars because I don't drink, like sports, or want some kind of bar hookup. I tried the dating sites. It wasn't immediate, but about six months later, my girlfriend message me. I suggest going to something like plentyoffish, make a profile and put yourself out there to see if anyone bites.

A couple things to keep in mind, though. Put up a good picture. No hats because girls will assume you're trying to hide the fact that you're bald. They don't care so much about the balding, they care more that you're trying to hide it. Same thing with your smile. Be sure to show teeth otherwise they assume you're hiding bad or missing teeth. Also, no sunglasses, keep your shirt on, don't show off your car/boat/etc. and don't have anyone else in the photo (they will wonder, "Is that his ex?" or "Are those his kids?")

Write a lot about yourself in your profile and use proper spelling, grammar and punctuation. tl;dr doesn't mean "Too long; didn't read" on a dating site, it means, "Too little; don't respond." Remember, you're trying to sell yourself here. But don't be a braggard, nobody wants a narcissist. Don't come across as requiring sympathy. Girls want guys who can make them feel good and lift their spirit, they're not looking for a charity case. Save your sad stories until after you've gotten to know each other, it may even help you connect with her. Never say, "No drama." Bad things happen in life and they take that to imply you live in a fantasy world and are unable to be real if anything bad happens or they need your support.

Most of all, be honest. They will eventually see through all your lies and BS and you'll just be back at square one, lonely and feeling worse than before. It's also not the end of the world if you don't get a respond. Girls get 100 times more messages than guys do on those sites, it doesn't necessarily mean she didn't like you, it just means maybe she connected with someone else first.

And that's one to grow on.

I'm really fucking weird and act like an asshole, but girls seem to like me enough to approach me. It happens when it happens, there's no use in trying to force it. Live your best and follow your dreams, and you'll eventually meet someone who wants to share that journey with you. You'll be fine as long as you go outside once in a while. And there's a difference between finding someone and wanting your dick wet.

also i was wondering could PSN ban you if you change your address to a state that doesn't charge sales tax?

Hmmmm......not to actually get involved in this discussion but I wonder if there is a problem with your credit card billing address needing to match your listed PSN address for such matters?

To buy gasoline with a credit card, I have to enter my zip code first.  If so, (for those who really care about sales tax) another reason to not have your credit card on file.

I wouldn't doubt there being something in the ToS about falsifying your information. Years ago during the Oman bans on Xbox Live Microsoft said it is against the ToS to falsify your information to avoid regional pricing. It seems like a pretty standard thing to have.

But, I doubt it's something Sony would bother to check for. Even when Microsoft did it it was because people were getting games for free from errors. Plus, people have already been making PSN accounts for foreign PSN stores.

Still, it's not something I would risk with my main account. I don't really care if my other accounts get banned because they mostly have content that was free; actually free. God knows how much money I've spent on my main PSN account. I wouldn't risk all that content for sales tax.

 
What stinks is that the ultimate goal of dating is having kids. Which means a total killing off of your free time.

So yeah, enjoy the dry spells cause man... I would love a weekend to myself!

Not sure where to ask this but here it goes.
I want to get a game capture device for PS4 games but currently only have several laptops that are not that powerful. They get the job done for now. I'm looking at the AVerMedia Live Gamer Portable 2. Simply because it looks like you may not need something powerful to get it to work properly? Any help?

I don't know about the system reqs for it, but I use an Elgato and it works really well for the consoles.

Kids are an issue with my girlfriend. I don't want any of my own but she already has three kids and I'm not particularly interested in dealing with them on a regular basis. Getting to the point where I'd rather just be left alone with my PS4. :D

Sounds like you would be doing everyone involved a favor by moving on then. It’s cool if it’s not your thing, but then I wouldn’t seriously date anyone that has them.

It annoys me to comment on this on cag but I have to say get out of the relationship. The world doesn’t need more dumbass deadbeat stepdads. Even if you aren’t, that attitude says otherwise. Hopefully you’re being flippant on cag cause it’s cag.

You don't have to use a credit card on your your account. I don't. not since they got hacked. My address was wrong for years just forgot to change it when I moved. Never had a single issue.

I think everybody has fucking kids so it makes it that much harder to find someone. A unicorn would be someone who is single, barren childless, and tolerant of my lazy lifestyle of watching movies and playing video games. I'm looking for companionship and shared common interests in a relationship; someone I can talk to and do the stuff I like with. My problem is that the older and lonelier I get, the more bitter and spiteful I've become, and now my initial desperation has turned to higher, impossible standards. The kind of woman I'm attracted to would never be attracted to me, and I'm too angry and shallow to ever settle for anything less. I would rather be fucking alone.

And that's kind of where I find myself now.

That's a pretty damn gross attitude. What the hell do you think adoption is? Step parents are often no real different. My father was barely in my life but my step dad is amazing and has been around since i was 6 years old. He's one of my favorite people in the world and has been an amazing parent.

Every situation will be different but if you date a parent, at some point, if things get serious, you're going to at least be a parental figure to them. If you can't open your heart to that, you shouldn't date a parent. Period. Kids aren't for everyone and that's cool but don't put yourself in a situation where you will be a parental figure and then complain about it or half ass it. Kids deserve better than that.

I like most of the text, put it in your dating profile and be done. If someone calls, they all already know you so nothing to disclose. If no one calls, it's no different than now - watch movies & play games.

For those who actually enjoyed Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, do you believe the season pass is worth it?  This is the first time I have seen it on sale and even at roughly $15 it seems a bit expensive for just 6 characters when there is already a large roster.  Some of the announced DLC characters I think are intriguing but I'm wondering if the season pass may go cheaper based on the supposedly small player base for the game.  Any thoughts?

more often than not adoption is for people that want children but can't have their own

just because your step dad has been good to you doesn't mean he thought it was an ideal situation initially

I got into the relationship under the assumption that she would have her kids, at most, a week a month since the father has them the majority of the time and lives 100 miles away. I thought "Well, if we move in together someday, a week a month would probably be manageable." Now she wants to try to get majority custody of two of them and that has put a damper on the relationship progressing any further. I know I wouldn't be good at being a full-time dad because I'm too selfish so I don't want to even get into that position. We've only been dating a couple months but I do like her so I don't want to break things off until I know for sure which direction the custody issue is going.

I'm sure some of you aren't enjoying this conversation about relationships so this'll be my last post on the subject but hey, it was better than the 20th argument about the merits of The Last of Us. :D

I'm just reqding all these posts and thinking how lucky I got. Met my now wife during the PS2 days. Said she was a gamer and I had a hard time believing her due to the area I grew up, only "nerds" rrwlly gsmed and no girls did. She brought over her memory card, popped in FFX and KH. Beat Nemesis, think that is the final kill all creatures so many times, in FFx and Sephiroth in KH no problem. Still game together 10yrs later, albiet on our own PS4s since she prefers RPGs and myself will play almost anything.

Says 90% of the planet, biological needs to procreate and all that stuff. I’m mostly kidding in my previous post but there’s truth in there as well. Most people have an urge to be with someone which usually leads to children and a reduction in our time and resources for gaming.

In another life I could have been the forever single guy who just played games and worked my career. I think I could have been happy with a life like that.

At least he's being honest. I agree with him. I'm not willing to date single moms because I have no intention of going to their kids' ballet recital or football game nor do I want the added chores of being their personal chauffeur or nursemaid. I like my free time.
 
What the hell is a deadbeat step dad? How you gonna be a deadbeat to kids that aren't your own? They're not your responsibility nor do they become yours just because you're dating their mother.
