Damn, I already have Runner 2 and have played plenty of Hitman: Absolution when it was free on EU+.  Still a great game, so I might start up a new file anyway.

Those Rayman sales look tempting, though.  $1.50 for Rayman 1... I'd probably bite on that if Sony Rewards would get its act together and resume processing PSN rewards, but here we are with the "Out of stock" message still showing up.  It was pretty awesome to be getting a free $10 PSN code every month just for paying with a credit card on everything instead of cash, but now the well has run dry. :/

They did "re-stock" the codes, and "sold out" within a few hours. I was able to cash in for a $50 code, but it won't let me cash anymore out now. Apparently they are enforcing a # of codes per some unknown time limit scheme.

Right they hardly promote it. Second they piss on the 3ds. Third you almost made me piss myself in laughter at your last line. Just not a cheap handheld like nintendos are so the market is smaller due to people not wanting to cough up the cash for the product which IMO is worth every penny. Will be even more so with better ps4 comparability.

I look forward to future vita games as the graphics to me for a handheld console are stellar. Kill zone is going to be one I'm rooting for. I will say cod for vita was a major disappointment though and wish activision came out with a new one to fix them hiring those other guys

That card is still 1% right? No difference than using any other credit card, getting 1% in cash, and use that money to buy whatever, including PSN, right?
 
In terms of the Vita, I've had it since day one and haven't regretted the purchase for a second. It has great games. There is also talk about Gamescom in late August being a "Vita" event.

10% on PSN purchases (though this kind of voids itself out if you were using your points to buy PSN cards, or if you can ever find PSN cards for more than 10% off), 5% on Playstation games and accessories (though I believe you had to submit a receipt to get your extra 4%, it didn't automatically give you 5%) and 1% on all other purchases.

I had the card linked to my PSN account for a while. Made a few purchases but that was it (like I said, I don't fund my PSN wallet from my credit card often because usually I'll use trade in credit or promos to buy PSN cards) but the card really didn't do much for me. I still use my Chase Freedom card for 1% on everything plus bonuses. However, they are actually gimping their rewards program quite a bit (I think I figured it would end up losing about $50-$80 per year due to the changes) so I'm in the market for a new rewards card. If you know of any good ones, PM me please.

 
i have realized the vita has won my heart.   i tried 3 different ps3 games in my backlog today, last about 10 minutes each, and ended up just playing pixeljunk monsters and looking forward to terraria, lone survivor, and other upcoming releases.

 
Personally I bought 2 vitas. One to play and love. The other one is forever reserved only to piss on. I carry both every where I go. This way I blend in with vita lovers and haters at the same time. It gets crazy in bathrooms when I'm pissing on a vita and playing on one at the same time.  :whee:

 
i would of rather of had a sale on the ps3 games instead of them being free but im not complaining, i me there free and i really want to play hitman.

Does anyone know if Ducktales will go any lower in a few months?  I'm in no hurry to play it if I can get it cheaper, but don't know how long digital copies tend to hold their value before their reduce their prices? If it was also for the vita I would have paid for it,, but it seems a bit more expensive for this gamer that tends to get his games in  physical format.

I have PS+ and I'm deciding if I should get my first paid digital content and probably get Rayman Origins for my Vita too.  

Is there any PS card deal going on right now? Apart from the $40 one from BB?

 
I just started Tomb Raider and after an hour and a half to two hours I don't know if I'm going to be able to keep playing the game. The flashing that happens at all these different points is giving me a migraine.

The game's not even out yet so your guess is as good as anyone's outside of the person at Capcom who decides when it's going to go on sale.

 
On a not sarcastic note...is anyone having issues downloading after this latest Vita update? I just updated today, and now when I download something, it gets about half way before telling me it can't download. This has happened on 4 different games now. Only thing I could download was a 100kb online pass. Everything else fails.


I hope it's not Sony pissing on my system...
 
I won a download code for Ten By Eight (PS Mobile puzzle game which was discussed last week) after breaking down and purchasing it. Didn't see anyone talk about this yet, but does anyone know what the Power ball numbers will be this week? I've got some bills to pay and would like some extra cash for the new systems coming out. I could also use it to buy Ducktales when it goes on sale in 7.3 months.

I guess is good to know that there are annoying kids on PS too...  This next gen of gamers really are bad w/ camaraderie. I guess having no physical human interaction while playing games / other people really has taken even discussing something about games to annoying stupid levels.

They put the IGC Vita out and advertised the AAA evergreen titles. Uncharted, Wipeout, Gravity Rush and the ability to back uo saves to the cloud alone make PSN+ worthwhile for the Vita. Everything else is gravy.

Hah - I completely forgot about those. I definitely need to play Gravity Rush some time soon too.

 
new Vita firmware upgrade is boss.   they added AA to the bubbles, and did something with either the contrast or color profiles... all together, the vita just looks even more beautiful.   they also got rid of the lag doing the swipe down close, and i think everything just feels a bit faster (in an already fast and fluid os).

there are other changes too - holding down the ps button now lets you easily change important system settings like airplane mode, among others.

they didn't fix the 100 bubble limit yet tho.

and i'm SO sad i missed that Ten By Eight code.  that game looks surprisingly awesome, in part due to the great promo for it.

So I finally just got around to finishing Spec Ops: The Line and....whoh. That shit got intense. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Dont know if it was already mentioned but I love the new feature on the VITA at the home menu of each game where you can now upload your saves to the cloud. Much more convenient. Also this is for PS+ members only I assume.
