to be fair, it would have been ridiculous to do that on stage. you'd need to go through 3 different card prices in three different currencies. it would have been a waste of time. he said 'significant' price drop, if i remember correctly. that's good for starters. we'll get more info soon i'm sure.

Well...better than nothing I supposed haha. Looks like Eld was right about $10 difference for one of them. Only a $5 difference in 4gb haha. Cheap bastards couldn't alteast make it $9.99.

Atleast the 16gb on sale sometime will be in my price range now.

Damn I wish I waited on the one I got from AWD. Now those are going to be going for less then those prices MSRP. It's about time they dropped the prices, now I want a 32gb!!!! I'll stick with my 16gb for now

Borderlands 2 on vita? if it's just a complete copy and paste of the game I am going to be pissed, what a waste of development instead of making a NEW game. Like just an entire side story or inbetween 1 and 2, call it Borderlands Vita

they did announce trade up deals for ps3 games to ps4 versions.

and they don't need to bundle Fifa because ps4s are already sold out in the EU, unlike xbones which are floundering over there. they certainly don't need to do it in the US, either.

but we are getting tons of free games via ps+ on ps4. resogun at launch!

Maybe you're just unimpressed because you got your Vitas for $35 (which is clouding your judgement). Think about big picture. Now they will probably drop to $45-$55 on AWD for 32GB cards. Thats a decent price drop they announced. Hopefully a 64 GB will be released and be $99 then.

Wish they announced our stuff around now like they do EU. I have it locked at Amazon for trade at $14.40 after the value rebounded briefly, think I'm going to have to go ahead and send it today because it's fallen from first or second in my backlog to the teens. So even if it's a couple months away for us I still wouldn't have gotten to it and it's already next to nothing most places. Plus it gives me time to play through the Ezio trilogy.

There are so many games available and/or coming for Vita. I don't have time to play even a fraction of them. It no longer makes any sense at all to say that the Vita has no games. I say this as someone with zero allegiance to Sony or any company. I'm just happy my investment in Vita has paid off.

i'm in LOVE with upcoming releases for the vita.  

spelunky, terrarria, rogue legacy, binding of isaac, starbound, luftrausers, hotline miami 2, helldivers, TxK, frozen synapse...

and heck, i'm leaving obvious ones out like borderlands 2, killzone mercenary, and y's.

i seriously hope the price drops + remote play + indie game support turn around sales, because the vita deserves the love, and the more people that buy it, the more support it gets.   though i have no idea how i'm supposed to even get through the current games i have, let alone all the ones i want on the horizon.

 
Wish the update would hit, I'll take Muramasa and MvC thanks. Also, Killzone is incredible. With my limited time, putting hours into a beta makes little sense considering I have a huge CAG backlog, but right now it's all I want to play. If the net code holds up under load then I do see it being the killer app for the system.

Wasn't sure which thread to exactly post this in, but any of you guys have experience with Gamestop pick up at store?

I wanted the Ducktales physical copy for PS3 and when I went there the guy straight up said "it doesnt exist" and when I explained it to him he said "I've never seen it"

I didn't do in store pickup at first bc GS is right on my way home, but I'm wondering If the stock is showing correct, or if I tried it the two people working there would even try looking for it since they were so sure they didn't have it. Thanks!

Add on DriveClub PS+ edition, Don't Starve, Secret Ponchos, and Outlast, plus at least a ps4 indy game a month for the first year per interview.

So that's 6 known ps4 games free with ps+ starting in november.

plus all the F2play games coming to ps4 (planetside 2, warframe, blacklight retribution, war thunder, dc universe online....

i'm probably buying two ps4 games at release (killzone and battlefield) and upgrading to the full drive club... and that's it till NFS:Rivals comes out and stuff starts to go on sale. So much free goodness will definitely help after the hurt the console puts on my budget.

From what I understand, it is not a physical copy. It is just a retail box with a code on the inside to download it. At least that was what I read all over the web when the PS3 physical version was announced.

Starbound, the follow-up to Terraria is coming to PS4 and Vita. The sequel, I think, of Velocity is coming to PS4 and Vita, which is adding platforming levels to the mix. Joe Danger 1 and 2 are coming to Vita. A new version of Gravity Crash is coming to Vita.

 
Probably already mentioned, but as far as I can tell the PS Store is updated with the sale prices for everything, except the PS+ discounts are not live yet. Gah!

 
Free Binding of Isaac sounds pretty sweet.  I bought the original on Steam a year or more ago as part of a Humble Bundle and haven't gotten around to playing it yet, heh... but I've heard good things. :p

Interesting that Minecraft is getting a PS3 release, but without mods, the appeal isn't there in the slightest for me.  Minecraft without mods is extremely lacking in content.  And this is coming from someone who prefers the vanilla versions of Bethesda's games.

Anyway, glad I waited on fez. Almost caved last steam sale. And, omg at this star wars pinball pack. So much fan service! I did something that triggered a first-person lightsaber sequence!! To the person who inquired about Papo Y Yo. I definitely say skip at that price. Excuse the cultural insensitivity, but I thought it sucked. Terrible. Or, shall I say, "teareeblay".

 
I'm digging killzone already. So much cleaner and well put together. Although I'm sure we will all find a few flaws within gameplay.

I have a friend who tells me all the time that the Vita is dead, and that it has no games. Just a couple days ago we were having this debate and I listed off probably 15-20 games for Vita that are awesome, and another batch that aren't even out yet. The response I got was "We'll digital games and indies don't count. When I go to a store, there's nothing out for Vita." I proceeded to tell him that he's clearly doing it wrong and is completely clueless.

And no, my friend isn't secretly slidecage.

I think we can all agree "no games" isn't to be taken literally. Obviously referring to the dearth of Sony 1st Party support & AAA offerings.
