No. Really? I've been checking in every Tuesday. I can't believe that I missed it. Wanted that Trine 2 game to play with my wife. Oh well. Maybe next time.
It was on sale back in March for $7.49.

So, do they usually post the next PSN+ games near the beginning of the month, or just previous to the first week of the PSN update?
The first Monday of the month.

without rehooking up my router but i dont think so..

is there any PS1 classics RPG games that you can download right into the vita

(i think most of them you need the PS3 ,

download them into the ps3 and then transfer to the vita right)

love to find some rpgs to play on the vita

maybe im wrong and hopefully i am

Just open up the store on the Vita and go to PSOne Classics. Anything listed in there can be downloaded directly to the Vita and played.

But to DL MGS, for example, you need to go through PS3. MGS does not show up on the vita store for PSOne classics. It is confusing.

pretty sure when i looked at breath of fire 4 it said you had to download it into the PS3 then transfer and alot of other RPG games that showed PS1 classic

xenogear is another

so mostly anything they does not say anything about TRANSFER should work on the vita alone

may try to download
Uncharted 3 isn't actually that big since it's broken up into a bunch of individual files for the add-ons and such. I believe the single-player and MP are also separate files, so the bundle size is a bit exaggerated though I can't find anything that states all that is included and the sizes. The free-to-play MP is just level-capped at level 15, so you don't get all of that part of the game without paying up for it.

Starhawk's appeal is the multiplayer, which they didn't give away.
I know the MP is level capped, but if I'm not mistaken it upgrades your account to premium status if you own the full game. Even without the unnecessary language packs, it must be a huge download.

Starhawk's MP is the reason to get that game, but I mentioned the SP being free because people would complain about getting half a game if this happens. I shouldn't have ruled it out since there are still weekly events.

Suikoden is one of the games you need to download to your PS3 then transfer it to your Vita from there.

What if you download it and PSN decides to hold it against you and then make you buy it again on the vita? I'd wait if I were you.

Just as a little warning/suggestion. I've bought 3 different digital codes from gamestop and each one took almost a week to get to me after a few phone calls. So 3 strikes you're out for me with them.

If you're looking for some quick psn credit I would use amazon since they have them now. Bought about 5 from them and received it immediately!

I am really on the fence about buying R&C: FFA. I just am not sure if I would like the game at all. I am afraid it would be like All 4 One and be a bit of a chore for me since it is not a classic R&C Adventure title. Although, if it means I get Deadlocked for free it seems like it would be worth the ~$10.

decisions, decisions....

Men's Room Mayhem coming to Vita.

Seems like a time management game, similar to Sally's Salon. I like these types of games, but can understand that others don't. However, the comments over there are ripping it and saying that it's a waste of resources to make this game, and that Vita needs quality over quantity, etc. I don't get people...the complaint was always that the Vita had no games. Now that they are putting out more games for it, people are saying they'd take a few quality titles over stuff like this. fucking people, man. Make up your minds!

Ha, I wonder if I let the wife play Men's Room Mayhem what will happen
She's a real expert at Diner Dash, is it kind of similar in mechanics?

I don't see the two arguments being mutually exclusive. Not speaking to this game in particular, but when people say a system needs games, they generally mean good games and not crappy shovelware titles.

I think the problem is that people don't want phone or tablet type games on the Vita. If I want a game like this, why not just play on my phone or tablet? I would venture to say that most Vita owners have multiple devices where they can play simple games and can get a lot more selection and lower pricing than Vita will ever be able to offer.

Personally, this game looks fun and interesting, but not hugely appealing. I don't mind these simple, touch based games since I don't play on my phone or tablet, but I would prefer seeing more games that feel like true video games and not games that feel like time wasters. I know that's a very hazy line that every person defines differently. I guess I just prefer stuff that's more in-depth and stuff that uses buttons and joysticks.

The problem is that you don't understand the "conceptual" meaning. They're not saying the Vita lacks game or more titles is all they want, they're saying the Vita needs MORE games that THEY WANT to play.

Awe! Suikoden and Suikoden II are two of the best rpgs on the Playstation. Suikoden II, especially, is one of my favorites of all time. I don't usually replay rpgs at all. In fact, Suikoden II is the only one that I've ever replayed more than once (four times to be exact). :D

I feel like in todays market, sony knows they have to have ios type and full type mobile games to stay relevent. The more choice they give the larger install base they can get in the mobile market. They dont have a pokemon that is guaranteed to sell consoles.

I have all the Suikoden games backed up with digital copies on my computer and physical copies on my shelf. My favorite playstation rpgs along with the Tales series hands down. Never want to not be able to replay those bad boys.

EDIT: Just in case to avoid confusion. I don't pirate games. I just made digital backups of all my older games just in case the disc ends up failing on me one day.
download version = preorder version, from what i can tell. so if you buy it now, the dl version is best with the caveat that you can't resell.
just to end this goofy side thread, here is a re-write without the use of 'caveat'

download version = preorder version, from what i can tell. so if you buy it now, the dl version is best [side by side, though obviously with reminder] that you can't resell [it].

caveat -- in general usage, it often used as a 'warning', but often with the slight added nuance that the warning is usually rather obvious or 'given'. like, "you should try the pecan pie tonight, with the caveat that it contains nuts so if you're allergic get something else".

in this case, i said the DL was 'better', but obviously the disc version has a huge benefit of being able to be resold, so i tried to avoid a thread derail based on that fact. mission failed, for reasons i'd never have guessed.

there's no chance of that happening. if you already own a ps1 classic on your account, they're not going to charge you for it again just because you have it on your Vita via transfer.

there is absolutely zero chance of that happening. transfer w/o fear.
I know, its just annoying that they refuse to bring good games to the west without pitchforks and rioting.
Actually a big reason Fatal Frame 4 never came over was because there is a game breaking glitch, plus the ghost list CANNOT be completed. Tecmo refused to fix them, last I heard.

I imported and played it on Wii though, it's an amazing game. Just as good as the others (well, better than 3, I didn't like 3 as much).
Thinking about picking up Sly 4 for $13, should I play the first three first?
I don't think you have to, but they are all very fun games, and you'd probably enjoy the story a bit more if you do.
Thinking about picking up Sly 4 for $13, should I play the first three first?
For what it's worth, I haven't touched the first three Sly games and I'm having a great time with Sly 4. There is a good introduction scene that explains enough so that you understand what's going on. I might be missing some references and stuff, but it's still really fun.

To me, Sly 1-3 are equally as good as Thieves in Time (arguably better, even) while offering more value because, well, it's three games. But, I suppose with Thieves in Time you can also get the Vita version with your purchase, so there's that to consider. Even though TIT :)bouncy:) is a PS3 game, I didn't think it made leaps and bounds graphically above 1-3. Don't know if that speaks to how good of a job they did with the HD porting, or how just unambitious they were with 4. Oh, I do believe someone mentioned that the Sly Collection was coming to Vita, so that may sway your decision as well.

Alright thanks guys, I'll probably do what I did with the MGS HD Collection on the Vita and buy it and then store it in my download list for a few months until I beat the first three, just to satisfy that urge to start from the beginning.

Also, I'm going to do what I did with Guacamelee and PSABR, where I never even downloaded them onto my PS3 and just played the Vita version.

That is why MGS is not listed in the Vita's PSOne store. It sucks, I know, but if the question is 'what PSONE RPGs can I download directly onto my Vita?', then the best thing to do is to turn on a Vita, go to the store and check out the PSOne section.

The Vita store is not the same as the PS3 store. Vita store only contains content that can be downloaded and played directly on a Vita.
pretty sure when i looked at breath of fire 4 it said you had to download it into the PS3 then transfer and alot of other RPG games that showed PS1 classic

xenogear is another

so mostly anything they does not say anything about TRANSFER should work on the vita alone

may try to download

Suikoden
Xenogears and Breath of Fire IV are both on the PSOne Vita store. They are fine (I know Xenogears is, I have it on my Vita).

Suikoden is not.
Day one. Id love to see a port of the 4th game to ps4...with move control...or just a controller...id even just do subtitles.....just any western release really......
I wouldn't mind seeing IV on the PS3. I played the fan translated version, and it was pretty spooky.
I think TiT looks pretty nice. It is definitely a nice deal to get the PS3 version if you have both that and a Vita. The Vita version is a downgrade in the plush graphics (though still looks quite nice on that beautiful screen), but the gameplay and content is identical to the PS3 version and is really nice to be able to play on the go.

Again, if you have a Vita, I would wait on the Sly Collection and pick it up on that. Perfect games to have portable and there should be no graphical downgrade from console to handheld with the HD collection.
I wish Suikoden II and III would get released on PSN already.
indeed. i would pick up a PS1 copy of II from one of the people that will fire sale it the day its finally announced for PSN.
