I really am not much of a poker fan, but PN2 just looks like a ton of fun:bouncy: the M rating is a bit of a surprise though, guess it's not exactly a game for the whole family;)

Yes it does bit you don't have to add the funds via it. You can go to the normal account page and it has an option to add funds via PayPal as well.

Just remember that you need to use a verified European Paypal account or it will not work. Of course that is only a problem if you live in a different country
 
I'm one episode away from finishing The Walking Dead and unsurprisingly, I really like it. I'll probably even play it again at some point and make different decisions since for some reason, I'm trying to be nice when I wouldn't if it was actually happening.

With that said, I'm pretty sure the only reason I like it so much is because I like the comic and the show. If this was a Doctor Who game or something where I didn't care about the source material, I'd probably be super bored.

I kinda have to disagree, because at least for me, I've never read the comics and the show isn't really my favorite, but I loved the game:applause:

Then I played the first episode of Back to the Future, a franchise I'm huge on, and could barely keep myself playing:drool:

I suppose everyone is different though. And there actually is a Doctor Who game, but it's more a platformer/puzzle sort of game, and not a particularly good one at that.

Thats pretty much exactly how I feel about adventure games. The only one I've ever enjoyed is the Strong Bad one, because I love that web series.

Yeah, this is what people don't realize when they tell people, "just go make a EU PSN account if you want their + stuff." People think it's easy, but it's not. I'm sure there are hoops you can jump through to make it happen, but I hit these roadblocks and just gave up.

It's not that hard to get an EU PS+ card if you really want one. One guy on here a few weeks ago was even selling one for $30 I think (sorry, can't remember your name bud). But yeah, you can't just sit down, boot up your PS3, and get it all taken care of in a matter of a few minutes.

Actually, I just want to correct myself on one thing. Making an EU account (or any region account) actually IS very easy (just find a fake address to use and then go on your PS3 and fill in the forms), but FUNDING it is not so straightforward if all you have is a US credit card # at the start. I couldn't even use it to buy the EU PSN cards from any of the online retailers I found. I guess you have to find individuals here or ebayers or whatnot, but I don't always trust those sources.

You know, I'm going to wait and see on the voice acting for Ash. I agree Bruce Campbell would be my first choice, but I think they could find someone to do it well enough. I mean, we're talking jokes and quips here, not a full fledged video game.

Either way, I pre-ordered it, as I didn't have the first one and figured $5 for both games was well worth it, especially as I enjoy playing poker now and again, and the cast for the second game is just amazing enough to make it worth it.

Hmm. I deleted everything from the trial, including all game saves. Maybe that's my problem. I thought the actual game was a different download file from the demo. I'll try it again tonight, thanks for the input tho. Complaining about my 99 cent game download, real first-world problems here lol.

lol, same thing for me. seeing day 1 dlc for sacred citadel on that other system helped me make the decision as well though. looks like i'll be getting dragon fantasy book tonight as well.
 
Just picked up Labyrinth Legends and Malicious for free (PS+). I was out of town without Internet access for a week so I missed last week's stuff - glad it didn't expire in a week.

The reviews on Labyrinth Legends say it s decent but complain that it is too short. I'm thinking that is perfect - I need a nice little game I can complete quickly. I've been absorbed in Etrian Odyssey IV for like the last entire month.

Any word on Dungeon Book I or whatever that new cross-buy game ($7.99 for PS+) is? It looks like maybe an iOS port. I can probably wait for it to be a PS+ freebie but the cross-buy availability is always intriguing.

Also, not that a 24 hour delay had any effect on me, but, especially for the people who may have pre-ordered Injustice on PSN, the blog really should have started the store update post with an apology. They're just shooting themselves in the foot by destroying consumer confidence that their digital platform is a viable alternative to disc releases. Doesn't help that people have other services (Steam) to compare them to.

Nobody pre-ordered it on PSN. Today's the first day that you could've purchased it on PSN.

Ah, didn't realize it wasn't up for pre-orders. In that case, there really was no reason to buy Injustice from the PSN store (being a game from the MK people being the most obvious reason, still ;))
