Ok, so if I downloaded the Sleeping Dogs demo last night to get a jump on today, will I have to redownload todays that supposedly has DLC attached to it?

Sorry, won't be home for a few hours.

While I can't comment on that (though I do believe so), buying the full game (free with plus) will have 3 DLC packs included as separate downloads. So buy, get the DLC, download whatever is needed, done.

The demo is a completely different thing, as retail games rarely have unlock key demos.

Already got FC3: Blood Dragon & Poker Night 2 and as for all the Sly & Ratchet sales I already own the collections. Boo

EDIT: Sleeping Dogs is the PS+ release this week and I plantnumed it on a rental and just read addons don't work with the PS+ download, great.
Also, I can't even get the game to download. I've tried three times now and nothing shows up under download management.

You could always save the 10 bucks for Star Wars pinball next week or hotline miami. Or pacman which is really slept on

was sort of hoping they would stuck at that price for awhile.. should of grabbed them last week...but then again i guess the psp verisons will be good enough

Seriously though, I was about to pull the trigger on a cart with a piece of Sleeping Dogs DLC. What addons is this guy talking about not working with the PSN download? Anyone??

What are you talking about? I played a few addons on the Europe digital version just fine a few months ago.

I don't know but this is weird. When I hit download on just Sleeping Dogs in the psn store on my ps3 it automatically started downloading multiple dlc packs. It is downloading Sleeping Dogs Retro Trial Pack, Street Racer Pack, and Red Envelope Pack along with the 7GB game.
 
Yeah, it comes with 3 DLC packs by default bundled with the PSN version.

My concern is what that guy ^ up there said about addons not working with the digital version.

Pretty rad they didn't create a standalone digital version for PS+ and are including the DLC, even if it isn't story content.
 
I can't check at the moment, but people on twitter are reporting that God of War 1 & 2 HD are showing up as free. Full games, not trials.

I can confirm this. Just added them both to my cart and they have the + symbol and show up as $0.00.
 
About the add-on's not working for Sleeping Dogs I misread the terms of service before you download the game. Sorry everyone.

I'm still having a problem where I can't download the game at all though. I click download and click okay and nothing happens.

EDIT: On top of that when I got to "view downloads" in the PS Store nothing at all shows up.

Ugh, I'm really getting sick of PSN. :(
 
Re: Sleeping Dogs, I think the PSN store is just getting hammered, it always happens on Tuesday nights. The web store seems to be more cooperative, try doing it on your computer.

Also, the 'download to PS3' option on the web store works pretty well, I'm really happy with all the upgrades they've done in terms of integrating the online store with the PS3 itself.

I don't think it's actually an error, per se. EU is getting new year long titles in June and we got ours at E3, so I wouldn't be shocked if Sony accidentally listed this early, but is nothing more than a game we will get next month.
 
Bought Fatal Frame 2, can't wait to play it again. Only played about an hour of it last time I owned it.

Also grabbed God Of War I and II, thanks for posting.

So this means that should your Plus membership expire, you'd lose both GoW's, right? It seems like a sort of double-edged sword: They're both free instead of the planned price points, but since they're free, you'll lose them if your PS+ membership expires. :???:

...Unless it's not a glitch, in which case my question is moot.
 
Downloaded and installed Sleeping Dogs only to launch the game and be asked to update. Sometimes trying to play games on the PS3 is a pain in the ass. Maybe I will be playing in 15-20 minutes hahaha.

I also grabbed GOW 1 & 2 off the PS Store before *playing* Sleeping Dogs.

How is that a double edged sword? They've all been extremely cheap in the past and are free with plus atm. As I've already suggested, this is probably just a replacement for one of the yearly titles and will be a plus one. In either case, you can always renew plus and keep em or go retail.

Don't ever install Little Big Planet 2 then. I did last week and holy christ...I think there were 22 updates for it and it took around 45 minutes if I'm remembering right. It was easily 35 minutes at least. Ridiculous.

Grabbed the GOWs. A part of me is expecting this to be like a few months ago when games were showing as free and people got charged later. The other part is just thinking Sony surprised everyone with two free games.

I had hopes that they would one day do a Fatal Frame HD pack which could includes all 4 Fatal Frames games (including the wii one never released in the states).

With Fatal Frame 1/2 getting added to classic this seems like it's never going to happen.

Then you will delighted by the download while you play feature of the PS4.
The only time I lost patience is for GT5, because I hooked up my wheel, popped the game in and waited, just steering the empty wheel, it was sad.
