I am having issues as well, same error when downloading from vita. When I try to transfer from my PS3 I get an error saying it could not be transferred.
Seriously? Glad it's not just me, then. I've tried several times. Restarted the vita twice. And it never gets beyond 15% of the install before it gives an error.

I had no issues installing Pinball Arcade on my Vita. I tried each table once and promptly deleted it. Worst Pinball game I have ever played. Absolute shitty camera angles...and yes I tried all three, no real difference on any of them. Not to mention all the tables look like ass. Stick to Zen Pinball 2 if you want pinball on your Vita.
Glad I didnt stock up on points, only thing in the update I even brought was Mens Room Mayhem (Lol, couldnt pass for a 1$), and the Joker Injustice skins

Also holy crap, what the hell was the point of delaying Ratchet and Clank FFA when the game seems to be glitchy as hell

Also, Pinball Arcade is really cool. I think you guys are crazy who dislike it. I had zero problem with the camera, physics, or controls. They're a little different than Zen Pinball, but not any worse.

Anyways, big week for me:

Sleeping Dogs Year of the Snake and Nightmare in the North
R&C FFA Vita
Deadlocked HD
Germinator
Men's Room Mayhem

Well Pinball Arcade hard froze my PS3...yeah, not sure when I will get around to it again, since I didn't particularly enjoy the round I played before it froze. Pinball has never been my thing though, so don't take this to mean the game is bad (really can't say either way).

Oh sweet, VF5FS and all the DLC for $15. I'll take this as a sign that I should go ahead and re-buy all my fighters for PS3 instead of resubscribing to XBL Gold.

damn, i just bought pinball arcade and am really excited, but all the news about freezing/crashing. I'll just hold on for a bit until the dust settles. I did get my real star trek pinball in today though... guess it's time to go play that instead.

Finally. Hopefully it also works for content that was on the Store prior to streaming. I wouldn't mind watching The B in Apartment 23 streaming, but I wasn't going to download each episode at 500 MB apiece.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who liked that show
So my first Guacamelee playthrough came in just under 8 hours, and that included getting all the chests, side quests, and exploring.
Did you enjoy it?
Did you enjoy it?
Yeah, there were some frustrating parts but overall, I liked it, I'm about to start the hard playthrough now.

Hmmm. So, I haven't been able to actually get Pinball Arcade installed on vita (very disappointing), but I did give it a spin on PS3. Initially was put off by what seemed like a lack of polish. The menu is hideous, as are the actual pinball machines (not the table), lol. The sound design is also a bit underwhelming. Some of this stuff seems like borrowed assets from Cruis'n USA.

BUT, I am enjoying playing it. In fact, I hadn't realized I'd spent nearly an hour just messing around, tryinng to best my scores. I think I actually prefer the physics in this over Zen. It felt like I was making a difference when I hit the ball in varying ways. Very..."authentic". And the tables themselves look pretty good. Hopefully the vita error is remedied soon.

i freakin' love Pinball Arcade. Don't understand the hate. I loved many of these tables in the arcade, and having on them on my vita is like gold in my pocket. Well, maybe not that good. But really, really, good.

That doesn't supprise me. The Williams Pinball Collection for the PS3 has the best physics and gameplay hands down, and most of these tables are from them. The graphics and ball physics on the Williams Collection is even better. Give that collection a try. Both are miles ahead of Zen Pinball in terms of ball physics.

Does anybody have any thoughts on Persona 4 Arena Ultimate Edition? I was hoping to eventually get the game for $15-$20, but I might buy this edition for $27.99 if the DLC is worth it.

It's all cosmetic. Skip it if you weren't that enthusiastic about the game in the first place.

I saw that Metro:Last Light is on sale until next Tuesday. Is there any problems with the PS3 version and is it worth the PS+ price?

Strange, after downloading the PSN version of Resident Evil: Revelation last night, I find this afternoon that I got another version for me in the PSN Store in it's game section. First shows that I purchased, the second gives me the pre-ordered dlc that I didn't think was being offered for the PSN. I am happy.

The game is awesome, but the DLC is superfluous. A good chunk of that DLC can be unlocked by playing the game. Granted, you have to play through some disgustingly hard portions of the game to unlock them, but it's possible. The rest are extra colors for the characters, and glasses for the cast.

If you want to save money, just wait for a good sale on the game. It's pretty cheap new these days anyway.
man, that Pinball Arcade bundle is killing me. $30 is more than i want to spend (on anything) and I already have one pack. But me wants. Decisions, decisions. I really wish each individual pack was on sale.
Yeah, same here. I for sure want Twilight Zone and Medival Madness, so that's $10 individually. Only $20 more for the whole pack bundle...
I saw that Metro:Last Light is on sale until next Tuesday. Is there any problems with the PS3 version and is it worth the PS+ price?
I have it on my pc so I cannot comment on the ps3 version of the game. But I'm loving the game so far. The stealth aspect and gunplay of the first Metro have improved greatly. And the reason why I loved Metro 2033, the environment and atmosphere, is still there. It's one of the few, if not only, post-apocalyptic games that really made me feel like I was there. It also does a great job tapping into both the good and bad sides of humanity.

Now if it's worth it to you for that price, I can't say. I got my copy for free and as much as I loved the first Metro for being different, I wouldn't have paid more than $20 for the sequel. This is just because I have a large enough backlog of games already and I apply that to every new platform game that comes out. The game itself is definitely "worth" the $60 retail price alone in my opinion.

So basically, if you are short on games to play and want to get immersed in a great environment for a FPS then the ps plus asking price is a good deal to me. Hope I could help some!
If anyone cares, you can get Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo for free if you had already purchased Darkstalkers. Not sure if this was intended or not, but something to keep in mind if you want it. Sadly, I already bought it (first PSN game if anyone cares =P).
is it free if one buys darkstalkers now or only if already bought?

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/05/22/best-of-playstation-network-vol-1-arrives-this-june/

There’s been a slew of exclusive PSN games over the years. We want to get them in your hands, so we’re rolling out the first in a series of Best of PlayStation Network collections!

The Best of PlayStation Network, Vol. 1 collects four diverse PSN exclusive games to give you a taste of what the PlayStation Store has to offer. If you haven’t had a chance to dive into PSN yet, these collections are a great place to start.

When Vikings Attack!

When Vikings Attack! is an energetic third person adventure featuring fast-paced battles pitting up to four co-operative players against the Viking hordes. You can also take on your friends in the “Versus” arenas in a 4-player battle royale.

Sound Shapes

Sound Shapes is equal parts instrument and game giving everyone the ability to make music. Play through a unique campaign that fuses music and artwork into a classic 2D platformer, featuring artwork by Pixeljam, Capy, Superbrothers and more, with music by I Am Robot and Proud, Jim Guthrie and Deadmau5. Create your own unique musical levels with all of the campaign content and share with the world. Sound Shapes creates an ever-changing musical community for everyone to enjoy at home or on the go.

Tokyo Jungle

Tokyo Jungle has over 50 playable animals to choose from, unleash your inner beast to hunt your way to the top of Tokyo’s post-apocalyptic food chain. Whether in Story or Survival Mode, you never know where your next meal will come from or the dangers you’ll face, so be prepared for anything and everything. Forage through this desolate but dangerous city to complete story-based challenges using a variety of survival skills, from all-out attack to stealth. Beware– you are not the only animal out there hunting for survival!

Fat Princess

Fat Princess made her return last year in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Now experience her original story in Fat Princess where you can choose from five distinct character classes and charge head first into battle. Upgrade your team and the castle defenses as you work with your team to save your princess. There’s a catch, though—the other team has been feeding her delicious cake, a treat she can’t resist, making her harder to escort back to your castle.

Best of PlayStation Network, Vol. 1 will be out on store shelves on June 25th for $39.99. That’s a savings of nearly $15 off the PlayStation Store price!

While you’re cruising through the Collections section, don’t forget to pick up Jak and Daxter Collection for your PlayStation Vita, ready to pick up in stores on June 18th for $29.99.

So that Best of PSN pack is $40 instead of the speculated $30. Oh well, still a decent deal, especially once it goes on sale. Probably could've sweeten the deal with some bundled DLC.

will look to get that pack when it drops in price some. I've already got Sound Shapes, but I'd really like to get the others, and they probably won't be cheaper digitally any time soon.
How's the Vita version of Pinball Arcade? Thinking of picking that up with the Pro Pack.
Buggy.
How's the Vita version of Pinball Arcade? Thinking of picking that up with the Pro Pack.
Download and play the PS+ tables if you have + or try the demo. I love this game get to play tables I played when I was a kid. I have a friend who is into pinball and he told me if you can't live the table rules then buy the Pro Pack. The Pro Pack just allows you to adjust the setting and add more balls to the game. This eliminates getting trophies or ranking on the leaderboards. When I pick up this bundle I will just get the regular season for $29.99. The extra $10 doesn't seem worth it.

It says $29.99 in the post.
Really? I play it off and on but I've never run in to a single problem. What are the bugs?
It seems like they might have put a newer version of the game up on PSN with updates built in and something in there might have broken things for new people. It's been mostly fine for those of us that have had it before this week.

I don't know, I find it unplayable. I own this thing on four platforms, and sadly the Vita version is the worst. Even worse than Android, which should never happen in a million years.

Apparently Sony doesn't let developers patch DLC? I had never heard that until seeing it on TPA's Facebook page as an explanation for why the Sony DLC tables never get patched.
Yeah, same here. I for sure want Twilight Zone and Medival Madness, so that's $10 individually. Only $20 more for the whole pack bundle...
If it helps your decision any, Medieval Madness is a simply incredible table. That's the 1 pack i have, though i'm about to pull the trigger on the rest i think.
How's the Vita version of Pinball Arcade? Thinking of picking that up with the Pro Pack.
some people here prefer Zen, some (including me) swear by Pinball Arcade.

Re: Buggy --
I play Pinball Arcade pretty much daily and have never, ever experienced a bug. No crashes, no slowdowns, nothing. It's a great game.

I actually owned and loved the Williams Collection on PS3, but recently sold it (it retained value!) because i found that i end up playing the tables on the vita instead. I liked the big screen too, for obvious reasons, but the vita's portability (plus selling for $) won out.
I don't think I really understand how to play Germinator. I don't feel like the tutorials are all that helpful.
Haha, I think the tutorial is more interested in being cute. It essentially plays like a bust a move/peggle clone, except that like-colored balls ("germs" in this case) don't stack, they absorb one another. I think after the third or forth they explode and take adjacent germs with them. Holding down the shoulder button while firing a germ grants a corresponding special move (transparency for red, super explode for green, etc.).
How's the Vita version of Pinball Arcade? Thinking of picking that up with the Pro Pack.
I'd make sure you can even get it to install on your vita by downloading the demo. Countless people have had issues with this, but as of yet there's been no word of a fix.
The pricing on that Best of PSN disc is disappointing.
It will hit $20 one day. Hold on to your CAG badge and don't let go!
