learn my lesson from the so call BIG FAT SALES that was a major disappointment so not really looking forward to anything

I read it as the big sales being Far Cry 3 and LittleBigPlanet DLC. Learn not to expect too much from such "big game sales" announcements, and you won't be disappointed. Often, the games are not that big at all.

Sweet! I love good sales on big games!

Guess we will never see a sale on LBP Dlc eh?
Pretty sure we're getting some kind of sale next week. I'd like sales on any of the LBP2 DLC that has trophies.

Delicious, Contra Shattered Soldier was one of the two reasons I kept my PS2 (the other being Gradius V). I will gladly give them my $10.
I waited so long for them to add that game to PSN here. So glad to see it's finally happening. Now if they could get around to adding Gradius V and Neo Contra.

Hey guys I know very little about move for playstation. Does everything that is "move" compatible require the playstation eye as well? Even like rail shooters?

EDIT: Just tried using the two motion controllers I got really cheap and the navigation controllers as well. Apparently both games I tried require it. Tried Heavy Rain and HotD Overkill. That sucks. Good thing the eye is cheap as dirt though.

yeah you can't use the move without the eye because it is what tracks the little glowing ball at the top. Eye is the cheapest part of it all though, so you can pick one up super cheap.

No dark for mobile. Boo. And no page down. At least there's last page navigation now.

Id recommend you try tapatalk, works pretty well now they added support back.

Hmmm...I started to install a PSN game and the game disk in the PS3 started spinning so I ejected it. Is it normal for the disk to spin then? Also does it when I scroll through my PSN games.

Ahh...thank god for the black theme again. All that white was bleaching my eyeballs. Though I have to admit, I do sorely miss the old CAG front page. It gave you a great overview of all the current deals/topics at once.

Oh well, it saves me from buying more crap then if I just stick to this thread haha.

They are indeed! Excite!

Assuming they're located in England, I think that is in about 10 minutes from now.  Obviously the US and EU games aren't guaranteed to be the same, but this may give us an idea of what to look forward to.  One of them will definitely be either Uncharted 3 or Assassin's Creed 3, more than likely U3 since it's Sony-published.

Thanks for the Tapatalk recommendation. It's actually on sale for $.99 now instead of the $2.99 regular price for those interested.

PS+ EU is getting:

Uncharted 3

LBP Karting

Xcom Enemy Unknown

I wouldn't mind getting that last one, I hope we don't get LBP Karting.  Nice to see that not all of them are Sony published.  Gives me hope.

US just announced we're getting the same three.

Well I'm down for Uncharted 3 and Little Big Planet Karting. Can't say no to free ps3 exclusives. Gives me an excuse to finally pick up Uncharted 1 & 2 cheap as well since I've only played my friend's copy of each game.

glad I didn't bite on X-Com yet, and I still wanted to try LBP Karting despite the lackluster reviews. Already have Uncharted 3 of course, but for anyone that actually has the space to download it, it's a must play! Not as good as I was hoping for, but I'm satisfied with the update. Surprised about no GoW though, wonder if that really was just a glitch when they were up as free.

1 out of 3 ain't bad! Xcom has been on my radar for a while. UC3, of course, 98.432% of people have played. LBKarting is just fucking atroticious, lol, but something had to replace All 4 One, I guess.

Very happy with Xcom and Uncharted 3. I was late to the PS3 party so I'm probably one of the few who doesn't have Uncharted 3 yet. LBG Karting sounds alright. Overall quite pleased with the choices.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/06/07/playstation-plus-3-new-fixtures-in-the-instant-game-collection/

With E3 right around the corner, everyone here at PlayStation is putting the final touches on what’s sure to be an exciting event for gamers everywhere. Among other things, we’re excited to see PlayStation Plus continue to evolve, and we’re happy to announce the inclusion of three new PS3 Full Games.

With next week’s PlayStation Store update, we’ll welcome UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and LittleBigPlanet: Karting into the Instant Game Collection!

As many of you keenly observed in Monday’s PlayStation Plus blog post, three PS3 Full Games – LittleBigPlanet 2, inFAMOUS 2, and Ratchet & Clank All 4 One – have only four days left in the Instant Game Collection. This means that it’s your last chance to download these great titles as they’ll be stepping down after a year of faithful PS Plus service.

June 11th PlayStation Plus Update
UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception (PS3) Single Player and Free to Play Multiplayer Bundle

PSN Price: This item is only Free for PS Plus members

The highly acclaimed single player campaign of Uncharted 3, along with the Free to Play Multiplayer Mode will be available for all PS Plus members to experience, free with their membership! A search for the fabled “Atlantis of the Sands” propels fortune hunter Nathan Drake into a desperate bid for survival that strains the limits of his endurance, forcing him to confront his deepest fears.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown (PS3)
PSN Price: $39.99, Free for PS Plus members

From the award-winning creators of Civilization comes an action-strategy game about humanity’s last stand. Threatened by an unknown enemy, Earth’s governments unite to form an elite paramilitary organization, known as XCOM. As the commander of XCOM, you must create a fully operational base, research alien technologies, plan combat missions, and lead your soldiers in fierce battles against a terrifying alien invasion. The decisions you make will affect the fate of humanity. You are our last hope.

LittleBigPlanet Karting (PS3)
PSN Price: $39.99, Free for PS Plus members

Sackboy returns in a completely new Karting adventure to save the Craftworld universe! Get behind the wheel to race through fun-filled tracks, battle in hectic arenas, and collect items in open-world environments. Compete in exciting mini-games and modes unlike anything you’ve seen, and enjoy endless levels created by the LittleBigPlanet community. From game modes to weapon types, never before has Sackboy had so many customization options. If you can dream it, you can drive it!

You’ll find all the content detailed above with their Plus benefits active when the PlayStation Store updates on Tuesday; along with additional Plus content that was announced as part of the June preview, and special discounts as well.

Speaking of the June preview, with all this PS Plus content, this month is shaping up to be one of the best PlayStation Plus months yet. UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception (PS3), XCOM: Enemy Unknown (PS3), and LittleBigPlanet: Karting (PS3) are all dropping next week, joining Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PS3) which joined PS Plus last week. You’ll still have Machinarium (PS3), Saints Row The Third (PS3), Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward (PS Vita), and God Eater Burst (PSP, PS Vita compatible), all coming in June as well! It’s never been a better time to join up.

We’ve got more to come next week, so again, make sure you watch for all the PlayStation announcements to come at E3. In fact, you can watch Monday’s press conference right here on PlayStation.Blog. In the meantime, if you’ve got feedback or thoughts on this special PS Plus update, leave them below, or, if you’re looking to engage with more of the PS community, make sure you head over to the PlayStation Community Forums to discuss this week’s news more, find other topics to contribute your thoughts to, or start one for yourself. See you in the comments!

I have not played Uncharted 2 or 3. So that is nice. I will admit thought that I did not enjoy one. Kinda sad that both LBP Karting and Machinarium are both free now. I had boughten both on sale. Oh well. I am still happy with what has been given free and am excited to play UC3, Deus Ex, and a couple others. Now all I need is a $30 price drop or so on the 32GB Vita memory card.

man.  already plat'd U3 and X-com (and Deus Ex, Saint's Row 3, and Zero Escape)....   bust of a month for me with ps+...  but dang, it's a great month for anyone who hasn't played any of them.

I think all of them are fantastic games.   Well, SR3 isn't fantastic, just fantasticly fun, but the rest are all solid through and through.   If I didn't have ps+, I'd say just those titles alone are easily worth more than the cost of a year's subscription value wise (w/o looking up exact values on amazon or anything).

You guys have to give xcom a try, it is really addicting.
While going through my backlog I loaded up X-Com for the first time. I agree that the little I played seemed like a very engrossing and addicting game to fans of strategy games. I just had to pass on playing it for now so I get get rid of the shorter games I own right now. Cause I know I'd be devoting lots of time to that game haha.

We're not getting the GOTY version. Just the Single-Player Campaign from within the Free-to-Play Multiplayer game. The sizes of that stuff is misleading anyway since you get a bunch of items that you can ignore if you don't want alternate language options or things like that.

1 out of 3 ain't bad! Xcom has been on my radar for a while. UC3, of course, 98.432% of people have played. LBKarting is just fucking atroticious, lol, but something had to replace All 4 One, I guess.
My thoughts exactly, 1 out of 3 ain't bad. If Uncharted's price holds on Amazon (which it probably won't) I can at least get my money back on that one (paid $10 for it at Target a while back).

Funny, I clearly remember the discussion we had several months ago about LBP Karting when it was on sale for $10 on PSN. We were all pretty sure it would hit IGC in June, but I was one of the suckers who still bought it anyway.
And of course I haven't played a second of it. Fail. :wall:

Can you explain this a bit more? So if I have the non-GOTY disc, is the multiplayer on that any different than what we're getting?

Funny, I clearly remember the discussion we had several months ago about LBP Karting when it was on sale for $10 on PSN. We were all pretty sure it would hit IGC in June, but I was one of the suckers who still bought it anyway.
And of course I haven't played a second of it. Fail. :wall:

We're not getting the GOTY version. Just the Single-Player Campaign from within the Free-to-Play Multiplayer game. The sizes of that stuff is misleading anyway since you get a bunch of items that you can ignore if you don't want alternate language options or things like that.
Can you explain this a bit more? So if I have the non-GOTY disc, is the multiplayer on that any different than what we're getting?
It's the same with the main difference being a level cap and no split-screen in multiplayer.

Time to sell my disc version of XCOM then! A little bummed they are still giving us the F2P version of ucnharted 3, but cant blame them for wanting to get some money

LBP Karting I think we all figured would be given for free, after all, it was on sale for 9.99 on PSN not too long after it came out
