my old fat did that after one of the system updates a while back. They wanted a bunch of money to fix it so i said screw it and threw a bigger HDD in it and use it for digital only games now as a 2nd system =P

I considered opening it up and maybe changing out the reader but i figured its lasted this long i dont want to mess with it

 
Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball 3 is coming to Vita and PS4! At this point, I'll take anything on Vita. Temco Koei is usually great about bringing their games here, so I'm optimistic for it.
 
How could you have heard rumors about it? It was just announced in Japan this morning. So obviously there's no US announcement yet, but I like I said above, Tecmo Koei usually brings their games here.

DOAX 3 was annouced to be in development on August 1st and on the Dead or Alive Facebook page they posted a message that it is exclusive to Japan and Asia (for now). Here's the Facebook post: https://www.facebook.com/deadoralivegame/posts/716716955099059

When I think about Volume, I'm of two minds about it. From a pure gameplay perspective, it handles stealth in a way that always feels fair and, if anything, is almost too forgiving. It conveys information clearly and it's never too frustrating. My biggest complaint of what's here is the ability for a player to cheese their way through a level, abusing the checkpoint system or the exit square to call something a win despite feeling like a clumsy mess.

However, a lot of where Volume suffers is in what's not here. I wish I could pan around a level to formulate a plan before diving in. I wish I were given incentive to play well instead of just adequately. Volume is not a bad game. But it still leaves me wanting for something more out of it.

Did anyone else pick up Kung Fury: Street Rage this week? I think I'm addicted to it, at least until I get the 200x combo trophy (the closest I've gotten thus far is around 140x). I've put more than 5 hours into it already, so I'd say $2 is a great value for it.

I hope they release a physical version, when ever I hear Asia region I get the idea that if they bring it out to US it will only be digital like so many other games.

I have $23.xx in PSN credit in my wallet, and just got my PS TV and memory card to download games onto for the bedroom.
Looked at the sales this morning, saw on the website they end on "Monday", and added FF8, 9, Chrono Trigger, and Chrono Cross to my cart. 
Went to youtube to check review on Vagrant Story for my last game, decided not to get it. Went back to the cart and it's empty because all the prices had gone back to normal.  :wall:  :wall:  :wall:  :wall:  :wall:

 
Meh. Looks like a good week to hold out for the probable flash sale.

So they came out with yet another Helldivers bundle? Guess that rules out any hope of even the base game being on sale anytime soon.

I'm tempted to go for the Splinter Cell HD games. I've already platinumed them when I rented the collection a couple of years ago, but I've been meaning to buy them so I can own them and at $3.50 per game, that's cheap enough for me to pull the trigger.

 
I have to say that I love that the companies making themes add a number or the letter "A" to the front of their theme titles to make them appear at the front of the new releases list when it's sorted alphabetically. Of course, they're sorted by price by default, so that stuff appears in the back for non-OCD people.

Of course I'll wait to see pricing, but I don't see much of interest there that I don't already own in one form or another. There were a couple of potential impulse buys that looked interesting, but they have abysmal reviews.

Can anyone speak out as to the 'best' 2 or 3 clancy games on PSP? I keep avoiding these sales, but I always sort of want one or two. I think I'm finally going to crack.

flash sale looks mildly interesting.

highly recommend Gladiator Begins for psp (well, vita). great game, totally holds up -- pure arena combat, tons of lewt, cool moves, knock armor off your foes...

will likely pick up some b tier psp games (fate extra, blazing souls) if the price is right.
