:ps4: Foul Play - $2.00 to $100.00 [customspoiler='Fine Print'] :ps4: Foul Play is a part of the PlayStation Heroes program, which means that you can pay your choice among a variety of price points for an item that is usually a theme for entries into a contest to win some prize with most of the money going to a charity. There are no details at the moment for what the prize for buying Foul Play offers, so I'll post that whenever it's announced.

Edit: From the PlayStation Heroes app on PS4, the Foul Play promotion is for a trip to PlayStation Experience in December. Once you purchase the game, you're supposed to go here to register for the actual contest, though you should wait until the page is updated for the PlayStation Experience promotion instead of whatever it's on at the moment.[/customspoiler]

All the games from last week seem to still be on sale and new games up. Looks like the store update might be a little late. I thought about getting Tales of Hearts R but decided I'll get Oreshika today instead for the early bonus. ToHR will likely will be on sale again within six months.

Yeah I looked at the time wrong was thinking it was after 1:00(not usually fully updated yet but showing signs with old discounts removed and new releases popping up).

It looks like these are two of the March PS+ games on the right

As for Vita, I'm guessing the store on PSTV & Vita is the same... I was looking at the store on my PS-TV and I couldn't find a download history like on the PS3. IS there one? I did find a purchase history but it was just purchase receipts and not downloads or links to download.
Not sure what this purchase receipt history is since I don't have a PSTV, but there is a download history on the Vita store. It will only give you links to Vita downloads though. Everything else is listed as cannot be downloaded to this system or some message like that. But it does show everything and, just like the PS3, it is almost as painful to download multiple DLC items for (though Vita's interface is faster and not laggy like the PS3).

My thoughts:

1) Sony may still be working with the publishers, late into the game and so are waiting to update the site once and for all (for this month) instead of an announcement followed by the "everything is live" blog post.

2) Sony may throw away the PS+ free games altogether and say that anyone with PS+ gets access to some of the PS Now games. So some kinda tie up into PS Now.

3) Sony may sold PS and/or filed for Chapter 11 with all the $100 we spent over the last month :)

It may not be anything, of course. I am just making up stuff to kill time.

We are like the guests who were told food is ready and then it takes forever for the food to come. So, even the people who were not hungry before are now fidgety and wonder what is going on here :)

I don't think they're doing it for PR.
I think one of the games fell through for some reason. Maybe it wasn't ready on time, and they had to find a new one to take its place and quickly negotiate/sign contracts/etc.

There should be no issue finding a game in a pinch... plenty of publishers would likely jump at the chance to get some cash for games that are no longer selling well. But that doesn't make getting contracts negotiated go any faster.

Contract issue explains it, is the most likely reason, and doesn't require any bizarre motivation on Sony's part.
This would be my guess. They probably waited as long as they could for their planned to be ready to go and it wasn't going to happen, so they're negotiating for a replacement. They also have to alter marketing materials and such with that sort of change.

It's in the exact same place (bottom right corner) as it is on Vita since they have the same PS Store.

Hopefully this is good for NA as well. I'd love to get Oddworld this month. Valiant Hearts is something I have been interested in playing for awhile now, but never had played it due to finding World War I themed things to be incredibly boring.

The store never updates this early. Give it 5 or so hours -- it typically updates around 2 pm PST.
I've seen it update many many times before 5pm EST/4pm CST/2pm PST. Heck I've made purchases for new sales as early as 1pm CST before. Maybe there are regional servers or something that delay things for those further west?

I'll have to dig around more to see if I can find it. Trust me when I say the terrible download history is a million times easier than digging through every single page of the ps-tv store trying to find purchases since most don't even show they are purchased until you open the page for the game.

It's in the exact same place (bottom right corner) as it is on Vita since they have the same PS Store.
Thanks for the direction. I don't own a vita so PS-TV was my first experience with it's store interface.

Oddworld is great with me. Don't really want vandal hearts though
Not sure if typo, joke, or serious, but the game shown is valiant hearts, not vandal hearts.

I bought Valiant Hearts on X1 last November during a sale. Haven't played it yet, but I don't mind having it on multiple platforms.

I already have Valient Hearts but Oddworld would be nice I guess. To be fair, not having a PS3 makes being satisfied with PS+ difficult as there's still not enough PS4 content to discount.

It seems weird that deals like this wouldn't be locked in place several months ahead of time, but what do I know...

When they make deals for unfinished games to be done and ready for launch by a specific date, sometimes the game won't be ready in time. They've been lucky that this is the first time that this has happened.

I'm cool with Valiant Hearts and Oddworld. I actually want to play Valiant Hearts eventually.

Before the sale prices vanish for last week I went ahead and grabbed Cel Damage & Home. I've played Home on iOS before and though I didn't get far I thought the game was pretty awesome. Cel Damage I mainly bought because it has split screen multiplayer. That aught to be good fun. I haven't played that game since the Xbox/PS2/GC days. I don't remember what system I played it on but I remember it was good fun.

OllieOllie 2 is showing free for me with PS Plus
Same here. Just purchased it.

Honestly I am thinking this is the problem.

They made the deal with some game to be released this month, and for whatever reason it wasn't ready.

This is weird, all the PS4 games from last month don't show as purchased on the webstore anymore, yet I have them all downloaded. I'll have to check later at home, hope they weren't removed from my games library also.

That's a pretty big let down after the wait.  I'm wondering if they are just wanting to quit announcing them before they go live, similar to what they do with the weekly sales.

I've seen OlliOlli2 go from free back to full price back to free again so I'll wait a bit before I check out. Don't want to get charged by mistake.
