Wolfenstein the New Blood is getting a physical release July 21. I'm guessing a MSRP of $20

Xbox and their go to "timed exclusive".

I wonder how PS4 sales for PvZ was vs Xbox One sales.

edit: I looked on VGchartz which i know isnt 100% but gives a good idea.

Says Xbox One was 430,000 WW vs  PS4 360,000. Doesnt seem like a big enough game to make paying for time exclusive worth it. Also since EA gave it away for free to PSN Plus users seems like the number could have been closer

I bought Resident Evil 5 Gold since it's Move compatible. That $13 Chronicles collection lead to me spending another $42. From reviews it seems Move on RE5 Gold is decent at best, but I figure I might as well get what I can out of Move.

I didn't need the Resident Evil triple pack. Everything in it I have on the 360. And I decided to hold off playing Umbrella Chronicles until after Zero comes out next year. I'll just play Darkside Chronicles for now.

Really fun game. The challenge mode and nightmare levels are a really nice addition. Just platted it last night and sold it for $25 on ebay. Glad I did with NA physical copies coming out now.

 
Very excited that Super Meat Boy died enough to find it's way past the console exclusivity terms level and will be coming to Vita and PS4.

Even more so that it's launching on PS+.

Frisky did not make nearly a big enough deal about it.

I'm happy about it myself as well, but the game is almost 5 years old now(likely will be by PS4 launch). I think that's about the right level of hype.

I wonder if Microsoft only listed the PS3 as forbidden systems to get the "preferential" treatment they got as an exclusive.
 
I really like the idea of indie titles launching with PS+.  It kinda guarantees long-term subscribers don't get burned on something they shelled out money for previously (on PS4 anyway).

 
I'm sure this has been asked so my bad in advance but is Revelations 2 on sale this week only $5 off the normal PSN price of Episode 1 + Season Pass or the Complete Season? I haven't really been paying attention to the console ones because I was waiting for the Vita port but I have a feeling its not going to turn out so great. Hope I'm wrong, though.

I've only played through the first chapter so far, but I'm enjoying it. It plays like I have wanted an RE to play for a while.

I'm old. I was indifferent about the first RE on the PS1 when it was released. I liked RE4 on the gamecube very much. I thought RE5 was pretty okay if you wanted a coop experience and I couldn't force myself to get all the way through RE6.

So far, RE Revelations 2 seems to be taking what I liked from all the previous RE games. I haven't tried Raid mode yet, but many people say it's deep and worth the price of admission alone.

I was happy to spend $20 on it. Will it get cheaper? Sure... it's CAPCOM :)

Thanks. Good work, too. I'll probably wait since it's only $5 for now. I never even noticed the Complete Season until the other day and was wondering if there was any difference, but saw the info and it looked the same. Gamestop and Amazon also have the Complete Season for $25 so I figured it wasn't that big a sale, as usual with Capcom. Anyways, it's better than nothing. I just got a PS4 two weeks back and really don't have much I want to play that I don't own on PS3 or Vita already in some form. At least right now. I noticed they haven't been really listing the weekly deals' original and sale prices on the PS Blog anymore, just links to the store. Or I am missing it somewhere. Anyways, thanks.

 
I'm not really a big fan of punishing platformers like Super Meat Boy.  Still, can't argue with free.  I wonder if the vita version will be PSTV compatible.

So no word of any sales yet?  That's probably for the best so I can focus on the Steam Summer Sale when it starts Thursday.

Are the prices even live yet? Some items look decently priced while others look like the standard price. I'm not sure how people are judging the quality of the sales yet. Kane & Lynch 2 for $20?

I keep getting tempted to buy both Wolfenstein and Evil Within but they're two titles that I feel will almost certainly end up on Plus sometime this year.

Some don't look live yet, like several Hitman games, Just Cause 2, etc.

 
 Just Cause 2 is 3.99. Figures I just bought a physical copy yesterday, looks like i'm returning it.

What in the world would make you think that? In general, PS+ has largely moved away from retail games. Your better bet would be to just buy them from Gamefly when they're on sale - they trade into Gamestop for the same price you paid for them, so you just rented them for free. Evil Within is on sale right now for $12.99 on Xbox 360.

I'll make sure to remind you of my prediction when it comes true. The last Wolfenstein was a Plus game on PS3 last year I believe and I can totally see Evil Within being free in October.

Also, I don't ever buy used.

Nope. Only Bethesda game that was free recently is Dishonored.

Not commenting on your prediction, just no Wolfenstein games have been free.

 
When is the last time Square Enix put its Final Fantasy games on sale? Been wanting the Vita version of the X/X-2 Remaster.
