You guys liking BO3? I'm not feeling it at ALL so far. Just glad we've got Battlefront coming out this year and I can't wait for Gears next week.

Liking it more than CODAW for sure. Was in the need of an FPS. Definitely satisfied my thirst.

Can't decide if I want to get Gears Ultimate...or wait for MGS (never played one before). Only have enough money for 1 :(

Really loving BO3, the class system is pretty good and I like the setup more than any other CoD I've played
This is coming from someone who prefers narrative and gameplay, and dislikes competitive multiplayer.

(I also feel if a game is competitive multiplayer only, it should have a lower base price point for being a portion of a game)

I've hit level 12 and am pretty meh about it. Every map feels like something I have played already a million times, and while the class perks are kinda fun (especially the warp one and gravity spike) nothing really feels fresh or new, just tweaks to something I've played a million times already. The time to kill is also insane, I guess thats the COD style but I'm not a huge fan.

That said I've still preordered from best buy and will play through but just like ghosts and AW I expect to play for 2 weeks, finish the SP campaign, play a bit of MP, trade it in, and never run the game again.

That post has been rattling around my head the last day or so. I read a few reviews and the comparison to Advance Wars minus some of the personality sounds good to me. I enjoy the characters and stuff in AW, but it's the core strategy game that I love. So I think I'm going to have to get this despite dipping my toe into Disgaea 1. Thanks for the heads up.

Well I guess I'm biased as Gears 1 is my favorite online game ever. I cannot wait. MGS is my favorite series too, and I'm sure V will be good, but I'm not super hyped about it now that Gears is right there at the same time. I also am not a fan of Keifer's VA, but I do like him as an actor.

If you've never played an MGS i highly recommend looking up some back story. It's very, very convoluted and hard to follow.

Anyone else planning on getting Dishonored Definitive edition? I never finished on 360 and $20 for the digital seems more than fair. I just don't know how much play it'll get with PHantom Pain and Mad Max dropping on the 1st.

Yep, I got it pre ordered on the x1. Thought I had it on PS3 bye apparently not, but I did have the GWG copy. I had $10 in Bing rewards plus some xbl money deposited so why not? $20 is fair

It's just a bundle, so you'd just add the DLC to your account that should automatically unlock if they're not separate downloads.

Besides free, which I don't think is what you want to know... it was $2.25 during the October Flash sale last year. I'm not sure if that's the lowest price it's been besides free... but it's definitely been lower than $7.49.

OK, so the apparent difference between the $80 Destiny that's available now and the $60 that will (presumably) be available on release is...you can play Vanilla and the two expansions now? That's it?

The $60 version is just the base game plus the first two expansions. The $80 version includes The Taken King with that package. I'd hope that they're not going to drop the price to $60 at launch or else that was just be an extremely shitty thing to do in a long line of bad PR for The Taken King.

 
The $80 one on psn is actually the ce verison of the game as it has the emotes and weapons and other stuff. No idea if they will bring the non ce verison to psn or not.
 
Yeah I heard it wont go up till release day. Seems odd. Id pre order that now to play before it releases but don't want to pay an extra $20 for stuff I dont care about.

I second this sentiment. I had skipped COD since BO II, so I haven't played Ghost nor Advanced Warfare. Yet somehow BO III feels the same, way too familiar, or rather, there's nothing new besides the specialists and their specials. I've been at level 28 (the max for this beta) since yesterday, and I'm already bored. The one thing that I really like about the game is the in-game music, but even that is not played long enough. The music would only play for about 10 seconds, then there is this minute long silence, and then it will play again for 10 seconds.

It's between this and Battefront for me this year. And with the premiums, buying both would cost me over $200. That's almost a used PS4, and it's a lot for just 2 games.

I'm having lots of fun. I love how they kinda added personality and super powers. It was kinda lame when the beta started and everyone was the sparrow chic, but now everyone on my clan is jumping into rounds with different characters/powers so pretty awesome. I just found the beauty of sixth sense/fast hands/tracker and a shotgun on ruin with overdrive yesterday. i was hunting and gunning

I believe they increased the level cap beyond 28.

 
Im not sure if its been mentioned on here, but soundshapes is pretty awesome. I reccomend picking it up if you have ps+ and a vita... Although the vita is optional ahaha
 
Is anybody else seeing blank spots on the webstore where a game's tile used to be, like on this page? It seemed to start after the update on Tuesday and it's doing that on Chrome, Firefox, and whatever IE is called now on Windows 10, so I'm not sure what the hell is going on.

At the link you sent, I see nothing in the 4th spot, and another 4 down and 3 over. In FireFox btw.

Thanks for the feedback. It's good to see that it's not just me. It happens all over the webstore now, so that'll make gathering the deals together more annoying if they don't get it fixed quickly.

 
I only see a blank spot on page 1, 4th row, 3rd column.  I went several pages deep and everything else looks fine.  Maybe they are correcting it?  I'm on Firefox 40.0 running adblock+, popupblocker for adblock+, noscript & flashblock.

It could simply be they deleted a few titles.  Especially on that first page where a lot of free stuff is.  SInce it's alphabetical the missing game is between Singstar and Trans-Galactic.

Changing to view by title A->Z, everything looks fine until I get to page 17, and the missing game appears to be between Street Fighter V & Strider.  Wasn't there some kind of Street Fighter V beta or something?  **Searches**

Yes, it looks like it's the SFV Beta.

EDIT:

If you see a hole (going back to sorting by price) in the first row, 4th game, that's where the BLOPS3 beta is for those that own it.

I picked up peggle 2 for ps4, been missing it since I switched over from Xbox one, it's one of my favorite time wasters when I got 5 mins to spare, also comes with all the dlc which I didn't have, couldn't pass this up for $3

It's affecting various parts of the site like Alice: Madness Returns on the EA Sale page, which obviously hasn't been removed from PSN since it's on sale.

Xeodrifter is out on PS4/Vita on 9/1 with Cross Buy support. It's kind of a Metroid-style game that is pretty hard with limited save/checkpoint options, though I still enjoyed it when I played it on 3DS.

? The page looks fine to me other than the base version of Alice not being listed and just the Ultimate version.

On the main "Games" page the third item under New-Addons is missing. This holds true when I open the page for new-addons as the third item there is missing as well.

Back to all PS4 games by price, I signed out and first row, 4th item disappeared. It, again, is the BLOPS3 beta. SO some of this is triggered by these betas that ownly owners can see. The 4th row, 3rd item is the SFV Demo which I don't own so I won't see it. IF anyone does own it, please confirm that it shows for you.

When I'm signed in ONE of the missing games shows up. The $40 expansion for the PS4 verison of Destiny (which I own the PS4 version of Destiny and the season pass). So I'm betting the other one is the PS3 version of that expansion which I am not eligible to purchase.

So it looks like to some degree they are trying to hide things people aren't eligible to purchase. Signing in and out, I see no abnormality that isn't explainable by this. I bet that one missing add-on is a season pass item or something for a game I don't own.

Anyway, hope that helps. Hopefully they'll do better at hiding this stuff completely rather than leaving blank slots.

It was missing from that link, though now it's showing up again.

Alice is still missing at this link since you seem to be the person that can fix things. That's not a beta. I also own the game, so there's no way it should be a blank spot.

Here's another missing game on page two next to the three versions of FIFA 15. That's not a beta since this is in the Weekly Deals section.

The New Releases section has two, one on the first page next to Volume and Pure Hold'em and page eight next to the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Sharefactory theme. I think the latter is the free DLC for NASCAR 15, which I haven't purchased yet and is definitely not a beta. I even used a link for it from the OP to purchase it and that went through just fine, but it still stays as a blank spot on the page.

I'm not going to document them all, but they're definitely there whether I'm signed in or not. I don't think it's related to things you own because I'd probably have dozens of blank spots because of all the shit I own on PSN.

 
Well the flash sale kind of sucks (why is walking dead 6.75 on ps4 and 3.75 on PS3? Graphics can't be that much better) so I think I will just buy Peggle tonight since I liked the first one.
Hope it's not a plus game next month.

I did a little narrowing down and it's a PS3 game that alphabetically sits between Fifa 15 and Helldivers Super-Earth Ultimate Edition. Weirdness. Narrowing by Games and then by Bundles it doesn't appear in either list. So it must be something else.

Hopefully they'll fix this stuff up soon. Till then, oh well.
