Played a lot of splatoon this weekend. Definitely a fun little game. Rounds are pretty short and its easy to get stuck in a "one more round" scenario. Kinda cool that you can buy new clothes for your character which help change your stats slightly (quicker respawn, ammo conservation, faster special regen, etc). The different weapons are really interesting and play super differently from each other. During Beta I think I liked the roller the best, but I'm leaning towards the squirt gun one right now. Game has a lot going for it, really hope Nintendo keeps supporting it with DLC and the like. The new NES weapon looks pretty cool too.

Not that I mind it being on PC since that's where I'd play it, but still, why the hell would it be exclusive for PC? Unless Steam or Origin or GOG paid for exclusivity there's really nobody else that would, so it's not a move that makes sense IMO.

I really think if given the right treatment the hamburglar could be the next Breaking Bad.
Is this close enough?

Excellent work here. I lost track of time after doing a Google image search for You're Doing it Wrong and clicking on all the parenting fail versions.

Terrible work here.

yeah Mondays are definitely quantity over quality days for me. I abuse the thread like a stream of consciousness outlet until I can muster up the mental fortitude to actually interact with my coworkers. I apologize for every Monday from here on out.

So Mild, did you change jobs just for more money or did you hate your prior job too?  Do all your co workers hate you as much as you hate them?  Does anyone have a big turtle?

I was playing Motorstorm yesterday and screaming at my TV, watching Jeff's ghost.

"That's such bullshit! There's no fucking way he's going that fast after coming off that turn!"

I think I was chasing Gators ghost in the helix missions last night. Then I had to free him as well. I was tempted to leave him but since he helped play some co op I figured I ought to save him.

I actually liked my prior job quite well, it was just a complete dead end for where I want to be so I had to leave. I make enough money, so I was actually prepared to take a cut when I changed jobs (luckily I didn't have to). my coworkers seem to like me just fine and they're actually not so bad, just frustrating when I'm trying to accomplish something and they do everything in their power to avoid doing work. Sounds ironic coming from the guy posting on cag, but I'm actually doing my work and almost all of their work at the moment and I still have plenty of time to dick around on here.

yeah. that's pretty annoying. once you get used to the tracks though you start smoking everybody else's ghosts. cro's ghosts put up a good fight and I imagine vig destroyed me in everything because that's how he rolls.

I like that Earthnight goes atypical with the characters--young black girl and a middle-aged bald dude with a huge beard. Looks more appealing than most of the other runners I've looked at, too.

I wouldn't say "destroyed", but I did beat your time on a lot of events. I couldn't outdo a few of them, mostly on Drift levels ( fuck those).

I was wondering how they picked whose ghost to use and where the names for the trapped assassins came from. I thought it was just a top score for the ghost, but it is cool they used actual player names for the second part and friend's ghosts if available.

Yeah I dont know about the ghost that was running around so I just used your name. But I definitely had to free you in one mission. So I assume all are real people.

Any CAG here getting Skyrim Online?  I'm not big into MMOs but a free to play Skyrim world for $30 sounded good to me.

I also finally went back to Motorstorm RC and beat the first few missions.  Still not digging the controls but I have gotten used to the first option.

Derek you should definitely but Neptunia U on top of your backlog.  Played a few hours this morning and have to say that this is definitely their best spinoff and very comparable in quality with their actual series.

Super Exploding Zoo! - 19 trophies, plat  , shared list ps4/vita

No Plat for Skulls is bullshit. That game is definitely long enough for a full trophy list and Plat.

Cool for Super Exploding Zoo though. I guess it's made by the same team that made Hohokum too. Definitely my most anticipated Plus game for the month.

The surprising thing about driveclub at this point is that they would delay it a year and still go ahead with the plan of having a separate version with a bunch of content cut out for subscribers. Maybe they won't, I dunno. But they might as well just give the whole thing away at this point. I doubt you'll have too many people interested in taking the leap to upgrade to the full version but who knows.
I think the new Plus version will have more content then the original Plus version had, but I don't think they're gonna give away the full game. I think whatever they plan, we'll for sure hear about it at their E3 conference.

Something like small font size seems inexcusable to me. How can the testers and all the people working on a game not inform the team that the font is too small? Shouldnt you be testing these games on different size screens etc as well?

Also, shouldnt this be an easy fix so you could do it fairly easily before releasing a game? Shouldnt it be as simple as copy all like in a word doc?! ha
Maybe they just forgot. People forget things, ya know?

I don't know how many got the reference, but it was from Seinfeld. I'd say at least 10 percent of the shit I say both online and off involves some sort of Seinfeld reference, and that's probably a conservative estimate.
I knew it was from something, but it reminded me of Simpsons where Grandpa is working fast food and the hamburger takes a bite out of someone.

Does The Swapper have a "best" version across PS4/PS3/Vita? I was originally planning to play it on PS4, but if the Vita version isn't bad, I might just play it there.
The game isn't graphically intensive or have any performance standards or anything. It's slow and methodical, you could play it on whatever you want.

I found out I got into that 10 week leadership training course which will lead to an upper management position in the future. I take back my earlier statement. Education FTW!

I liked all the non-book stuff in this episode for a change.
Yeah, it was a great episode even without the epic final 15 minutes.

Tyrion and Daenerys scenes were super good. Love that we are sort of getting more info about the White Walkers. Valyrian steel also kills them. Up until that episode I thought the blue-eyed zombies were white walkers too, but I guess that's not the case since Snow stabbed a bunch of them with his sword before fighting the one BAMF guy and none of them shattered in that way.

It's really interesting watching as a book reader. I can't tell if a lot of this new stuff are outright deviations from the book or things that the book just didn't get around to yet.

Jimquisition talked about Amiibos, I thought it was pretty funny. Definitely true, all the same gripes I've had. fuck Nintendo.

Holy shit, how can anyone listen to Jim Sterling for more than 30 seconds? I hate so much when people try to be funny by just throwing in swears every other word and yelling real loud.

younger folks that grew up with social media - is it really considered 'childish' to unfollow/unfriend someone when you break up with them?
I think it is the opposite. Creepy to keep following/friending someone after you break up with them. Let it go

im not younger folks tho

I don't think anybody here is young enough for that. I might be wrong, but I guess how you define "grew up with."

Also, Gaijinworks has a poll up for Summon Night 5. They're checking interest in a physical copy of the game in a physical+digital bundle for their English localization. Summon Night 5 is a PSP sRPG and the PSN code will be Vita compatible. Here's some gameplay:

Definitely agree to an extent. On amiibo as a whole, yeah, fuck nintendo. Collecting these things is annoying as fuck now. But on the splatoon ones, gotta agree less. Supply for these has been pretty good to be honest, Maybe not on the three pack with the squid, but I've been finding the inkling boy and girl everywhere. Grabbed the girl on a whim on Sunday while I was in best buy. The also had the boy available, but I already had that one. They were also up on amazon over the weekend. Saw both of them at target as well multiple times as well.

But almost every other amiibo? Yeah, massive pain in the ass. I've managed to get most of them at retail costs, but I know I'm in the minority for that.

Maybe I've aged out of younger folks, but I've always purged exes from social networks. No need to invite the possible drama/negativity. The one time I didn't I ended up tagged in some facebook note months down the line entitled "September Strikes Back" wherein the most hilarious combination of star wars and green day was used to vilify and somehow excuse me from breaking up with him lol

Did a little bit of playing this and that over the weekend to try out some stuff. I picked up Box Boy! on the 3DS eshop. Definitely a fun little $5 diversion. Seems super easy but fun so far. I think I got up to World 5.

Tried Azure Striker Gunvolt....feels like a lost SNES title which is never a bad thing. I only played the first level because it was a little too talky talky in the beginning.

Played some more Batman (Origins)....not much else to say except I'm now more than half way.

let's fish would've been a billion times better if the fish you caught in world tour counted towards trophies/challenge mode. There's a trophy for catching 500 fish, but to finish world tour completely you end up catching like 300+. So many wasted fish!

He does do that a lot, but I didn't notice a ton of swearing in this one.

I usually like his stuff despite the fact that he's usually focused on all the negative things in gaming.
