Considering how good they all are I will go with the cheapest and most readily available every time.

I am so glad I dont care for expensive liquor. Every one I know goes on about all these fancy scotches etc and I just shake my head and am happy with a $15 bottle of whatever.

Wow. It's been ~20 years since the first two came out on Playstation. 3 and 4 are from a different dev and aren't good, from what I've been told, but I'm surprised the Director's Cut of 1 and Remastered 2 didn't get re-released on current PS hardware before they decided to put out 5.

For the most part Amiibos are flipping fodder, but occasionally there are cool ones that I don't mind owning (e.g., Mega Man, Pac-Man, Fire Emblem characters). There's also the recognition factor--Skylanders are primarily new characters (unless I'm mistaken) whereas most people know Nintendo characters.

Oh wow. So the PS blog lets users reply to comments now. When they added that functionality they forgot replies were previously all done by PS Blog employees. Now normal account replies are showing up in that red background that used to indicate an official response.

Hopefully that gets fixed soon. People on the blog are already dumb enough without idiots getting confused because a random said something in an official-looking reply.

Didn't get into skylanders because I knew I'd end up buying a bunch of them. Then amiibo came, and yeah. I bought all of them...

They said they're going to fix it so only authors are read, all other comments will probably go to white. But they really need to be threaded somehow, or it's going to be a gigantic mess.

Also, they changed fonts. Is that Times New Roman? Jesus, what is this, my 9th grade honors English assignment?

 
fuck. The E3 shitposting on Neogaf has already started. Halo 5 is on the cover of this month's GI and the first page of comments is full of "In My Veins", "Hype", "Arrgghs so excite" etc.

It's cool that people are excited for these games but Neogaf just gets flooded with garbage for every announcement. I wish they would mod this shitposting over there.

The Mirror's Edge thread isn't quite as bad, but there's still a lot of "HYYYYYYYPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEE" comments and shit.

Did the problems with MCC ever get worked out?

I really hope the new Platinum Games project isn't MGR2. With their last game being a Wii U exclusive and Scalebound being a XB1 exclusive I'd like to see something interesting come to PS4.

Speaking of shitposting, would it work if we hung out in the inverted access twitch chat during the e3 conferences? I definitely don't care if this thread is inundated with hype posts at all, but it might be more fun to putz around in realtime with folks.

This is a cool idea. The IA chat works fine or we could certainly make a private chatroom elsewhere as well.

 
Looks like there is no one time use code or anything with TESO so you can trade it in if you want. Gamestop already has a TIV for it.

The game isn't bad, it's just interminably long and a bit repetitive. You'll need some friends to play with for post game since the difficulty spikes like a mofo.

Checked my easy trophies list on truetrophies, and threw on flower to grab the trophy for playing after a week. Say what you want about that "game," but it is still gorgeous to this day. I'd love to see the ps4 version.
