Well had my new best Spelunky run, but still just a bit behind Soph.  But while I was playing I had a guy named Kinnijup watching my stream and commenting a bit, seemed like a cool guy, he's been in my stream before.  Then someone else comment and congratulated him on his new WR.  

Turns out he set the new Spelunky score WR last month!  So it was really awesome to have my personal best run ($850K) with him watching!  Also got nervous a bit, and came so close to fucking up on 5-3.  So fucking close, I deserved to die but Spelunky cut me some slack for a change.

Yeah, the first $3 mil run (which made most the major gaming news sites) was like 7 hours long. Ghosting and destroying every tile take forever. One of the reasons I'll never get to that level, I just don't have the patience for that.

I saw the old Pulse headset but it didn't show a price and the manager had left for the night so it was a no go. They put it in the back for me, though. Not sure if they're really going to be worth it or not. I suppose it depends on the price they quote me. Place is only 3 miles away so not too much of a hassle.

Almost bought a Nyko DS4 charging cradle but even at $6 I don't really see myself needing it more than just some micro USB cables.

I checked the sears over at the mall *shudders* and was a no go for me.  Turns out they didn't even have a gaming section anymore.  I would love to find another Gold headset since I gifted my other one to a friends.  Will probably try the other Sears in my area and see what gaming stuff they have on sale.  Will probably grab some Qdoba or Raising Canes so the trip will be a positive one either way.  

I've been replaying some of the levels on Geometry wars and I don't know how mildpete got those three stars.  The Yellow and Orange sections seems to be giving me the most trouble.  Pete we need to do some shareplay and see how we do on the co-op levels.

 
After most people left my stream I had an awesome run on BOI. Bums got to witness my mega arrow. It dominated everything since I kept getting lots of upgrades for it and I managed to make it to Satan and defeat him. Most things died in 1 hit.

After that Chris sent me a seed for this ring/circle of death that was cool. It made the game insanely easy too and I made it to the end and somehow found a new level, the Cathedral. I was this crazy demon angel since I was Azazel but picked up the Bible and some other stuff that made me holy. Pretty fun.
 
Cooooooooooooool. Loadout on PS4 has trophies now. Haven't played it, but I know people who played it quite a bit on pc. Might check it out.

As far as new content in the inevitable Extend version of the game goes, console players will get to play as Celica Ayatsuki Mercury and Lambda-11, two characters that were added to the arcade version of the game in its 2.0 update.

While details are pretty light on the game, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven is an action game with tag battles and 3D stages, where characters will fight in big brawls.

So far, they’ve revealed two playable characters in Diego Brando from Part VII: Steel Ball Run, and Rudol von Stroheim from Part II: Battle Tendency. More details on the game will be revealed soon, as it will be playable at the Jump Festa 2015.

While All-Star Battle was easy to plat, it had an undeniable charm and style, so hopefully this will be localized.

Wait so Spelunky requires you to play for hours on end in one run?  I knew I hated that game.  Going to delete it once I get home.

That's only if you are ghosting for Spelunky. And Isaac runs rarely go more than like 45 minutes unless you are being really slow, or really making the most of every small opportunity.

I dont know what ghosting means and I dont care to know. Sounds awful. I will still play BOI at some point then if all the runs are fairly short. Plus I like that its all action from what I have seen.

geometry wars update - 118 stars, 4 levels left that only have 1 star. I think that means that I still have 28 levels to 3 star. I'm pretty sure there's 6 or 7 that I know I can get (4 boss levels and the two high rollers (endurance and 49)) but everything else is going to just be practice practice practice.

Besides that I still have three score trophies and the coop trophies I'll be missing and will stomp me senseless. Even after I somehow manage the plat I'll probably still play the vita version to do it all over again. one of my favorite games this year.

So I guess this means now I will be able to play a Steins;gate game and actually understand it? I admit, this concerns me slightly. They did not seem as strange as some of the others like the Chaos;head and Memories Off series though.

I hope they do make them physical. It seems like Gamefly is all about getting the Japanese games that get published here.

I guess Shattered Dimension expects you go back and grind out character upgrades first as hard wasn't that hard for the first four levels but then the difficulty ramps up quite a bit in the middle act. I was trying to stay on hard all the way through the first playthrough as to plat it you need a trophy for collecting 95+% of the collectable spider tokens, having a high combo score, and a quick time in hard mode; but you don't have to do all of those in the same run. So I was grabbing the collectable tokens (they are usually pretty easy to see) during the first run so I would only have to go through the levels 2 more times.

Vig, how long did you say you have to ship trade-ins to Amazon? I know they are a little lenient. Mine says please ship by the 23rd, with the items set to arrive to my store by the 23rd. I may not have the chance to pick them up until the 26th though.

As long as you ship the games off within 2 weeks of locking in (so by 12/30 in this case), you should be fine. Trade-ins typically expire 25 days after being locked in. It's probably obvious to you, but I'd ship them off ASAP when you get them due to the Christmas and New Year's holidays' potential to affect UPS shipping speed.
