An additional $50 for a grappling hook to stare at, small artbook, and map? Pass.
You mean an extra $80 for those of us who ordered it in the BB glitch ;)

was capcom arcade cabinet on sale for $12 last month? I'm trying to figure out why I skipped it, there's a lot of good stuff in there that would probably be more than $12 of entertainment.
It was actually $9 for all the games in the collection the 3rd week in June. A damn steal. And really good TT values on most of the trophies.

Thought I told y'all to snatch it up. Suckers!

I had it in my cart when I went to get the ps+ games this week, I guess I just forgot to checkout? I dunno. I'll get it next time I guess! Now I'm going to go work offsite so I can play geometry wars.

I really need to get back to Doctor Who. I powered through a few seasons while also watching Torchwood at the same time a while back. Burned myself out on the universe for a bit. This makes me want to return to it, though.
Ya, the really good stuff doesn't start till season 4+. Then Torchwood hits its peak at season 3, I really wouldn't bother with S4 as it is pretty awful. They saved the series via a co-production with Starz and the changes made to pander to American audiences are really bad. It's also fairly obvious that they tried to stretch a 5 or 6 episode tale to a 10 episode tale as there is so much filler.

Went to bed early last night, but earlier I tried to get in a RL game with randoms and it didn't seem to work. It kept widening the search with no lucky even though thousands were online. Played a couple games of a season with bots instead, which is ok but obviously not where the fun is. I've got pinball tonight and Friday night is out, but Saturday night I should be able to play.

The game didn't seem to make the fan go crazy for me.

Do you already have the 2 PSP collections? That's why I decided not to get it, because I would have been double dipping on all but 1 game, Trojan.

Rocket League was a lot of fun last night, but staying up until 2am was not a good idea at all.  I am just hoping to make it through the day without falling asleep at my desk at this point.

FYI... a lot of people are saying that if you use the same wheels without changing them that you'll get the 500km trophy at around 70km.  That should still take quite some time, but will be a lot less time than the 500km.  So you may want to just stick with one set of wheels.

I cant believe how many people are posting videos for "easy ways to get items" which is starting a match with no bots scoring a goal and sitting still until the game is over.  I guess that is easy, but it is incredibly stupid and boring.  It saves no time versus just playing the game.  I am all for tips and tricks to get trophies easier/faster, but that is just fucking stupid.

Cool. I hope by changing my wheels a couple times I didnt screw myself out of that. Ill stick with the wheels I have now then and see.

Yeesh, you have to play 5 minute matches either way so that is retarded for sure. 6 hours flew by (Derek special) last night.

I dont think it will, it will just make it longer for you to get like it will me since I did the same.

Yeah, the time flew by last night. That was good until I realized how late it was. I was kind of glad my friends I am playing PayDay 2 with weren't able to play last night. Looks like they won't be able to tonight either so I think Ill play some more Rocket League.

Dammit.

I really hate that the Vita doesn't allow you to automatically upload all game saves to PS+ storage. So shitty that you have to create your first save in a game and then manually turn on uploads for each individual game. I'm not sure why they adopted a delayed per-game opt-in approach, maybe to prevent people from uploading every save to PS+, but it's very inconvenient and doesn't match with the PS3/PS4 approach at all.

It looks like we dont have to care about switching wheels.  Since we were playing private matches apparently none of the distance we traveled counts.  Makes sense since none of the wins for a given car seemed to be counting either.  That really sucks though since it is the most fun just playing with friends.  Could we even do that in a public match?  I assume you just have to go through their matchmaking for a real public one, but I dont know.

Is it really worth a big rant though? It's not that hard really. As soon as you launch a game for the first time, do Home button and Plus and checkbox. Three extra things that take a max of 10 seconds. It's not like they're making you wait 5-7 hours and restart the machine and enter a code and call their support line to activate the options.

I got through the first season and a few episodes into the second. It got removed from Amazon Prime and it's on Netflix now. Really should start it back. I think even the family tolerated it being on.

I am going to agree with him for once. It really is pretty stupid that it is that different from the other consoles. It would not take much for them to have a dialog screen pop up when you start a new game asking if you want to enable auto-uploads like the PS3 does. Or just make it like the PS4 and do it auto-magically.

Terrible.

I can't imagine what it would be like to have 6 hours un-interupted to myself.

And then to just spend those 6 hours laying on the couch, sloth like? Wow.
Who said we had uninterrupted time for 6 hours? My kid came in and asked me stuff at least 3 times. My wife came in at least twice (once in full on bitch mode, sorry Pancakes). I had to stop and reset the router once because one of their laptops wasn't working as well.

Who lays on the couch to play video games? Sitting sure. Do you run marathons when at home after work?

It's not hard, but it's easy to forget. When you have two Vitas (or three, since that's how many can be on an account) and you're playing digital games at different locations it can screw you over a bit. I'd planned on continuing my Senran Kagura save over lunch, but now I don't have access to it at all. It's the discrepancy versus the way PS3/PS4 handle it that's really annoying; if they were consistent across the board in how it was handled it would just be a "Well, that's how they do it," kinda thing. Having Vita approach save uploading an entirely different way for no apparent reason just seems bizarre.

I'd actually thought you had to create a save in the game before it let you do that, though. After your post I did check and I do see that the auto-upload option becomes available as soon as you launch the game the first time. Not sure why they don't let you do it from the launch screen itself rather than making you go into the game and then switch back out.

I got to play early yesterday since my daughter wasnt home.  I wont get to play that early most days and even if I can if it isnt a Rocket League type game I wouldnt be able to play 6 hours straight either.   I get bored and lazy a lot and have to veg out and watch TV some days.  And once the kid came home I also had things to do and missed a match or two.

Tonight I wont be on until about 9-930 ET.

I might jump on Rocket League after I get home from league tonight for a little bit, but that wouldn't be until 11 eastern or so most likely.

did taco bell stop serving the grilled stuffed nacho thing that they introduced last month?
Its still on their website but honestly I tried it twice and wasnt impressed either time. The size and shape is unwieldy.

Also the red tortilla strips arent good enough. They need to just bring back the beefy cheese burrito with hot fritos. That shit was the bomb.

Therm is right about the stupidity of it. Should definitely be automatic or at least ask if you want to enable cloud saves.
Didn't say it wasn't a stupid choice. But not worth a long rant like that. I view it as a minor inconvenience as the result of a weird design choice. But it's kind of Therm's own damn fault for not getting his save saved so he could keep playing.

And the reason you have to start a game first to enable the Plus saving is because a Vita game data file isn't created until a game is launched. Same as on PS3. It only asks if you want to add this shit to Plus auto upload when you start. Only difference in Vita is you have to do it your self. Dumb? Yes. Rant worthy? No. Rant rebuttal worthy? fuck no. But here we are.

Thursday everyone!
