Arkham Knight is done. It's probably a good thing I had to play through it again because I noticed more of its flaws the second time around--Witcher 3 was more fun overall. AK is still better than Origins, but now I'm not sure if City was more enjoyable. I might replay that one sometime.

Anyway, Demon's Souls is up next. I started a new Royal character and played through Phalanx already.

Welcome to my world. That's why I had to keep muting my mic with 3 fans blowing on me.

Hope you enjoy Demon's Souls Vig. I also got the EU and Chinese/English versions so I can eventually get the triple platinum. At least you're used to the rag doll mechanics of the dead enemies.

Going from Bloodborne to Demon's Souls must be an interesting transition with the speed difference.
It isn't an entirely new experience since I first started Demon's Souls waaaaaay back in Dec. 2009 and remembered a few things about how it feels to play, but it's definitely noticeable.

Demon's Souls is still one of my favorite PS3 games. I only lack four trophies for the plat; took a break from farming for the Pure Bladestone and never went back.

Started Rocket League last night. Pretty fun game. I only played the tutorial and some exhibition games; it was already after 1a and I didn't need to stay up too late.

ugh airports. security like was super huge at slc. got through all of Boston's check ins in like 15 mins. now got like an hour to kill before i even board.

Good news, Amazon responded to my threat to sue by reinstating my Mighty 9 preorder. Now I can go tell them I want a gift card or six, right? Vig, how many gift cards would you try to weasel out of them in this situation?

Nice. I didn't realize how easy the UC2 MP trophies are for the base game.
I just finished them off for the plat (#20). It's still only at 73% complete because of all the DLC trophies.

The co-op is actually pretty fun. The competitive mode trophy you can get just by starting a private match and letting it sit for 5 minutes.

finished batman too. not better than asylum but pretty fun to play.
Great game, but Knight begins with a bang and ends with a whimper. Really disappointed in the boss battles... or the lack thereof I should say. And the villain lineup was pretty weak overall compared to what we got out of Asylum and City. One thing that I'm finding pretty cool though is the endgame chatter. After the last story mission, enemies will acknowledge what's happened at the end with the comments they make. The main villains do too (at least penguin did on my way taking him to jail), which kind of sucks I guess if you complete all of their missions before the main story ends.

One for each panic-filled hour while the preorder was cancelled.

Just in case anyone sees me as playing Rocket League and thinks I am ignoring them playing or a party or something, I have it rubber banded to work towards the distance trophy while I do some other things today.  I just wish the distance counted in online play so that this was necessary to get the trophy.  Playing games with bots just is not any fun.

Was there even a boss fight that wasn't essentially a standard brawl/predator/tank fight? It's surprising really how they didn't even bother trying to go a bit outside of that box.

That looks freaking awesome.
Ya, and I just found out Shout Factory is doing a new edition of Army of Darkness on Blu-ray coming out around the same time. I hope that means we'll finally have a proper, non-shitty sourced copy of the director's cut in Region 1.

Outside of Mr. Freeze in Arkham City, Rocksteady doesn't seem to know how to make good/unique boss fights. The final boss in Asylum is still the only real bad thing about the game.

Ignore my messages then. Just saw this. Lol

Hopefully. Pretty fun game even though I suck at it.

It's so annoying when you're looking at a guide and the author gets directions wrong. So many times this Xillia guide has said things like "Go to the northwest room" and it's the northeast. Or "Go west" when they mean east. It's not hard.

But I'm glad I got this trophy for opening 300 chests, so now I don't have to bother looking for them anymore.

The kid and wife are going to her parents around 5 I think so I will be online early tonight too hopefully playing rocket league again.

We played to about 230 et last night.

Waffles and cleaner ignored my messages too. Thats okay zombie, Derek, cro, bums and I had fun. Hope I am not forgetting someone.

All I need are the items/cars, 500km and hitting opponent into the ball to score.

I got the 8 ball one by pure luck this morning when getting a win with each car. You need to win with almost all the cars to unlock sweet tooth. I think I have one left to go. The items will come over time, but that distance one is a bitch. Last I checked after it had been going a while I am at 25km. So I hope the posts about using one set of wheels and getting to about 70 are still accurate.

Assuming I dont get heat stroke while outside trimming the bushes I should be on when I finish them and take a shower.

Jimbo, you shouldnt need to boost the 10 win thing. If you set the season down to 9 games and win the championship on rookie, you will get it before you finish the season. Just abuse the ability to always score on the kickoff.

I'd be happy to help you guys get some of those DLC trophies for UC2 co-op. Not the competitive mode ones, though - they suck.

Not sure if you guys are only doing RL private matches, but my youngest and I played online earlier and while it says 0 are online, it actually works fine. The numbers are just wrong.

playing with a bunch in your party it didn't seem to work so we always did private matches. Maybe we can try that tonight

I knew I was setting that one up for someone.

The neighbors were spared because I forgot my extension cord was messed up. To hell with going to Home Depot to buy a new one today.
I hated messing with extension cords when I was using my old electric hedge trimmer, so I bought one of these to use with my interchangeable, gas-powered timmer:

Works like a champ plus more power!
