30+ minute cut scene??? Ouch.

Its not just a cut scene but a lot of it is. There is a dream sequence sort of deal where you do move the character and press R1 a couple times, but it is ing useless. There is also a part right before that where you do a QTE and it tells you to spam circle for as long as you are willing to do so (again, stupid). Those along with 2 sets of credits (one for original game and another for the remaster) clock in at over 30 minutes of time from after the final boss battle really ends.

I know Tyler already bitched about the end game stuff on God of War, but I felt left out so I am going to pile on. When there is over 30 minutes of junk you can't skip AFTER the final boss battle really ends, there is a real problem. The game itself is fun but that is just so annoying and useless. Way to leave a terrible taste in the players mouth after they likely enjoyed the game.

Pancakes, Stotch, and Zimm: What did you guys think of Master Reboot? I saw where Tyler hammered it pretty hard and I was wondering if you guys had a different opinion. As cheap and as short as it is I was thinking about giving it a go, but if it is pure garbage I'll pass.

I liked it but I like those type of games. I got it when it first came out (also first one to plat it).

Honestly I don't think you'll like it but you can get the plat fairly painlessly.

You'll be happy to know that that's the level that ripped all of our faces off when we first played through on ps4. I thought three starring that thing was pretty tough, but I guess it's actually just like pinball or something.

I finally have some extra halos I don't really need to use on anything so I was looking at the alt costumes (perfumes). I purchased one, but apparently they are tied to the weapon and can only be used when you have that weapon equipped in the hand slot. But there's no alt costume for the weapon I use all the time, the katana sword, lame.

Since I figured out I can mount Durga claws on my feet I've pretty much used exclusively the Katana + Durga in slot A, and the Whip (for hitting flying enemies and grappling+stunning enemies) + Odette or kilgore in slot B.

In case anyone was on the fence about Nom Nom for the flash sale, I played a while with Pancakes this morning and it seems like they fixed a ton of the bugs they initially had in online play.  We never had the desync issues or any slow down issues either.  There are names on the characters now too, which I dont think they had before.  If you are off screen there is just an arrow though, but it is still an improvement.

I'd like to try the helldivers bosses but there's some horror stories out there. It'll be better to get wiped out with pals.

One thing about the hell divers bosses, you need to spend 50 influence to visit their planets and the influence is race specific. i.e. If you want to kill the bug boss you need to earn 50 influence running bug planets then use it to open the boss. The bright side is only one person needs to do it and the rest can join so you could each farm the influence for each race separately.

I one shot them all except illuminate with randoms. Granted it was the day after release so all the hardcore players were hungry for the content/trophies.

I thought it was inconsistent. Some levels were fun and some sucked. Lots of variety though.

Story was somewhat interesting, but gets a little too complicated for its own good.

If you like adventure-horror games I would give it a go. Like others have said, the play isn't too bad. You even get to play the game in another language for it!

If it's under $5-4 and you like the genre I would go for it, just don't have high expectations.

There's no way to go back to a previous patch version of a game on PS4 right?  I downloaded the new Witcher 3 patch overnight but reading lots of reports that it breaks the game including the Card Collector trophy.  Wondering if I can go back to patch 1.05 or will I have to uninstall every patch?

More like winded out, that shit was nasty. Also one amateur Niebrugge ( didn't realize that Dunne was an amateur) was raised in Wisconsin, won a lot of the state tournaments here. I'm still hoping Spieth wins it.

Yeah and since he is amateur he doesnt get any prize money! Sucks for him since the top 10 probably get a ton of money and the winner over a mil. It was delayed due to wind. Gusts over 50mph I think and sustained in the 20s and 30s? It was real bad.
