The guy at Zeboyd games (Cthulu Saves the World; Cosmic Star Heroine) thinks that indie games are getting to expensive, thinks devs are getting too comfy at the $20 price point.

Pretty decent read.
If Cosmic Star Heroine debuts at $14.99 with a Plus discount (10% is likely and would be fine, but I'd prefer 20%), I'll probably get it both to support these guys and because it looks fun. I hope it gets a plat.

Would anyone here want a code to unlock Mewtwo in Smash Bros. 3DS, which expires today? FYI, I won't be able to get it to you for a few hours since I'm out flipping and I left the code at home.

Gotta think there's no way he'll price it above $15 at this point. It was $10 in the Kickstarter.

Also, we're making a very bold assumption that this game will actually ever come out. Was announced over 2 years ago. It and Hyper Light Drifter are in a neck-and-neck race to see which one can not exist the most.

Look at that, reviews on BB.com do give you 25 points.  Nice.  $10 more in rewards towards that big screen I want.

I went to my cousins new house for the first time the other day.  He bought it house a few months ago for his wife and 3 kids.  5 bedroom 3500 sq ft.  But I was most impressed with not 1, but 2!! 70 inch TVs.

Well, I did say "if". Maybe HLD will make an appearance at Gamescom next week?

Crunchy asked about the PS4 version of Flame Over, sounds like it didn't pass QA and they have to fix a few things before it goes back into submission. Probably a good thing, the Vita version does have a couple annoying small issues that need fixing as well. Plus the fucking glitched trophies.

I'm not publishing my Flame Over review yet but it's written if anyone wants to check it out while the game is on sale.

4.5/5
Great review man. Really had a blast playing the game.

As for you issue with the axe, how many times has that happened to you? I think I only broken 1 or 2 axes in my 84 playthroughs.

My only issue with the game is the music and didn't really dig the artwork at all. Other than that, well worth my $15. The PS4 version needs to come out with new trophies so I can buy it again.

Also had some more time to play Lost Dimension and it is starting to sneak into my GOTY.  The Vision section of the game is awesome and battles are starting involve more strategies now than you simple move an attack.

rocket league has a new patch, 1.835GB

I've never played Pinball Arcade. I guess I should fire up one of those free ones we got from PS+ a while back to see if I like it. How do the trophies work, though? I'm not sure what "local high score" means in this context.

They are unique to each table and set by the developers.

Overall I like the tables I've tried, though it doesn't run as smoothly as Zen Pinball does regardless of platform, mostly in the form of occasional framerate slowdowns. This is because they are essentially emulations of their real-life counterparts (and each one had to be licensed by the related companies), while Zen's tables are proprietary.

How can local be unique and set to each table? I was thinking it was either "On your friends list" or "In X miles of your location." This changes per table?
Have you never played real pinball?

On each table is a high score list, like what you see in pacman or Tetris. Just on that machine. If you place on the top-5 of the pre-determined list for each table, you get a trophy. Scores when you start are just made up ones with made up initials.

Oh, gotcha. When it said local I thought it was fetching those scores from PSN, not preset from the developer. :dunce: I know you guys have posted high scores on occasion and thought that's where the comparison would be coming from.

Never really played pinball growing up. Never was an arcade guy. I liked Sonic Spinball when I played it 20 years ago, though. That's close, right?

I know very few people would even care about this but they are actually making a remake (sequel?) for the original Digimon World .  Yeah I'm definitely importing that whether or not it comes to the states or not.

Big fuck you to this level for being 80% breakable objects. Gonna have to break almost all of em to find the collectibles hiding underneath.

Pinball arcade!! Everyone buy season 2 and let's get another tournament going. I bought the tables that came out this week. Jack Bot is so good.

That was fun--about $500 profit at Gamestop after 2 hours of minimal work. I picked up a $50 PSN spacebucks card, $100 in Amazon GCs, and a $25 Shell GC for good measure.

Man, I hope this lasts through Sunday when I'm next near some Gamestops.
