Do you ever get a map or a locator for the collectibles in Mad Max? I'm wondering if it's worth my time searching every corner to collect 100% of the loot.
To expand on what bestkeeper said, there are outposts with a hot-air balloon that you use to scout the surrounding area using your binoculars (hover over each icon to add it to your map). Whatever you don't see will pop up automatically when you drive close enough.

You're probably using the suspend feature, so the game is stlll counting the time while you're not playing.

You shouldn't do that with this game, I'd guess. There are projects in the camps that collect scrap for you while the game is off, as long as your PS4 maintains an internet connection. I'd assume that probably doesn't work during suspend mode.
you are probably right. Oh well.

Is spidey worth playing on Vita? PST.org shows a 15-20 hour plat with no missibles, so that's certainly appealing.
There may not be any missables, but if collecting comic-book pages is the same as on PS3, that would explain 3-5 of those hours.

Some of you here frown upon Gamestop "rentals", but just as an FYI, their extended holiday return period (anything bought after a given date can be returned by mid-January) should be starting within the next month or so.

Lastly, you can get the project parts and build something in the outposts that will show all scavenge locations so you dont have to drive by all of them. Scavenge locations dont show up unless you drive near them or do that project at the outpost.

It was October 5th last year. Not sure if that varies or not.

I find it laughable anyone gave this game lower than a 7.  Its not revolutionary nor does it do many new things but its fun and you can tell they actually put a lot into the game.  It isnt just mailed in. Plus there are very few glitches or issues if any at all with the performance.

Watch the gametrailers review and their score of 7.4.  I think they are spot on.

We've already established that I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to 100%-ing open-world games, but nothing in Mad Max has bored me yet.

I haven't done it but it is their policy so can't get too upset at those who do.

Who was looking for a PS3 deal? GS has the 12GB Disney Infinity edition for $111. Should be possible to swap a hard drive into it, right?

Cage I think. Link didn't work for me though. And yeah he should be able to move his drive / bracket over. Will require a reformat though.

If he has a fat PS3 he will need a $5 bracket to put it his old drive into the new PS3.

Where did you find the info on these, btw? I haven't seen it on SD, the video games forum, or reddit, so I'm curious about the source.
I was at tru today. I don't remember if their clearance is ymmv or not but I thought it was nationwide.

I don't know any stock checking tricks though, I'm not tru saavy.

Started up Beyond Two Souls this afternoon because I wanted a slower paced adventure type game.  Pretty entertaining so far.  The graphics are pretty damn amazing.  Trophy requirements are quite convoluted though.  Yay for guides (#suckItTyler).

I remember debating buying this game and someone here was really against it

I don't remember who though...

I'm with tyler on this one with the first playthrough without a guide but if you are following one, make sure you don't miss any of the sections. Beyond Two Souls is one of the worst culprits with unskippable cut scenes.

lol what is the point of playing Beyond Two Souls with a guide?
How else would you know that you need to cook a meal, clean the apartment, take a shower, wear the elegant dress and put on some music? It lets you know and rewards you with a trophy! It also tells you to sleep with Ryan. Two trophies that I noticed you missed out on tyler.

I can confirm that restarting the death race over and over again is a good way to get 15 kills in a row without being hit.  Just did it so I may go for the plat after all.

I will be playing this for the next month though at this rate!

I'm just guiding for missable trophies and collectables.  Trying to not ready any of the story stuff ahead of time.  I don't have all the time in the world like all you Kool Kids.

I just saw this commercial during the Cardinals game. I'm pretty sure whoever wrote it knew what they were doing with that bird bit at the :18 mark.
