20 missions done in MGS V and I'm starting to get a little bored of it. Go ahead and throw your stones, PSNOT.
I mean, the song came out in 1998. So not sure exactly what that says about you.so the topic is from a jay-z song? I'm so out of touch.
There's like 2 or 3 of us that really like it, 20 that don't really give a shit, then 2 or 3 that don't like metal gear. I doubt you get many stones thrown your way. Insulting Taco Bell would make you much more of a pariah.20 missions done in MGS V and I'm starting to get a little bored of it. Go ahead and throw your stones, PSNOT.
It would help if people read it though.that's why the psnot thread is great - it's more of a living document than a thread.
I saw that this morning. The internet pitchfork brigade was out in full force. Not sure if it matters to you League fans but Steve Rannazzisi admitted his 9/11 story about escaping one of the Towers was fake.

I wonder if Brian Williams was a cube mate.

Have you been playing a lot of side ops? I stand by it being an incredible game but somewhere around the early 20 missions I decided to just focus on banging out the story missions. You reach a point where you have just about all of the equipment you'll need to do well in most situations so the motivation to build up your base starts to wane (even though there is still a ton left to unlock/upgrade). Not to mention once you get good at doing side ops you knock them out really fast. So fast that it takes you as much time to get to the next one (either by driving all the way to it or chopper-ing in and out) as it does to actually complete it. Not a great use of my gaming time.20 missions done in MGS V and I'm starting to get a little bored of it. Go ahead and throw your stones, PSNOT.

I'm on the second to last story mission and am ready to be done with it for a bit. That's more because I've been playing it nonstop for over two weeks. Not really a fault of the game.
Not really a spoiler, but will spoiler because some of you guys are crazy sensitive about that:
Mission 46 is the last story mission, but don't be discouraged and think you're really far away. Mission 32 is essentially the finale. The majority of the ones after that are harder versions of earlier missions with maybe 5 or 6 kinda simple/short story missions thrown in. You don't need to do the recycled levels to progress.
Spoilers WTF.That Halo reference used on Big Brother tonight was pretty great.

I've been doing every side op and sometimes justing around in the open world seeing what ridiculousness I can manage. I can't wait until MGOnline releases next month.
There definitely is somewhere, but offhand I don't remember.I think I've done around 40 missions combined between story and side ops... still as addicted as when I first started. What's baffling to me is that I've primarily been doing stealth the whole time and I typically hate stealth games.
No idea how much time I've put into it though. Is there a counter somewhere?
I see MLB 15 down to $6 but it means driving to it. Hopefully the one within walking distance goes down from $10 before selling out.So who needs minecraft vita? Or MLB 15 The Show vita?
I posted a bunch a few pages back I believe.I see MLB 15 down to $6 but it means driving to it. Hopefully the one within walking distance goes down from $10 before selling out.
I was really hoping to see cheap Rayman Legends but it either sold out already or hasn't dropped under $15.
I'll have to check what's even around the nearby store but I doubt much since they cut the whole gaming section down substantially. And when it comes to older games I don't know what I would want to buy since anything I wanted I either have or had.
PS: Is there a decent list of DPCIs for the Vita clearance? A lot of the older games are no longer listed on Target's site.
This is basically every other post on the shitty vita subreddit. Comments full of tears and weeabs wishing they lived in japanDang.

Nowhere near that often, but yeah the subreddit has been shitty for a while. I thought this one was interesting because it's often difficult to see the titles when somebody takes that kind of photo, but in this case I could make out a lot of them. I'd say the majority are titles we have access to over here that just get very limited quantity releases or digital-only on our side. It's not a surprise Vita does so much better over there with the in-store support that they get. I'm pretty curious about what causes that--a difference in marketing, the different travel habits of Japanese people, the buy-in of the gaming stores, or something else. This is basically every other post on the shitty vita subreddit. I've done probably somewhere around 30-35 side ops. I think like you said I am pretty well equipped so not a lot of motivation to keep upgrading the base, doing extractions, etc. I got up to mission 23 last night. I'm definitely gonna finish out the story but not seeing a ton of replay value down the road.Have you been playing a lot of side ops? you upgrade it a bit but really you never get a lot. Then you unlock full refill at the strongholds through a project and you never have to worry about it again.Mad Max players: Is there a point in the game where you actually start getting ammo on a decent basis? I seem to never have any shotgun or sniper ammo.
thanks zombie Vikings!Back ahead of you on TT Wren. Suck it!
Upgrade the strongholds. Each time you visit your ammunition will be restocked. Once per location per twenty minutes.Mad Max players: Is there a point in the game where you actually start getting ammo on a decent basis? I seem to never have any shotgun or sniper ammo.
I try to use my guns sparingly, but having the upgrade where you occasionally loot more ammo can be helpful. You'll also eventually unlock a "perk" for each stronghold where they'll refill your ammo for free, though you'll have to wait a bit (Mad Max players: Is there a point in the game where you actually start getting ammo on a decent basis? Yes, it's the Armory. For Jeet's stronghold, you'll need to finish a Wasteland Mission for him before you can build it (at no cost other than completing the mission). Is that one of the "projects" you build?
Thanks. I might have done that already, I'll check tonight.Yes, it's the Armory. For Jeet's stronghold, you'll need to finish a Wasteland Mission for him before you can build it (at no cost other than completing the mission).
It involved going to the bottom-right of Jeet's territory to search for a powder-maker in a cave filled with enemies.Thanks. I might have done that already, I'll check tonight.
One kinda-sorta complaint I have is that there's no way to interrupt picking up a body (unconscious or otherwise) if you're at risk of being seen while doing so. Once or twice I've looked around, thought the coast was clear, started to pick up a body, noticed a guy rounding a nearby corner, and been unable to get out of sight in time because of the body-pickup animation. At first I found it funny when the credits rolled at the beginning of every mission on MGS, but now it's starting to get annoying, especially when I see in the credits "Starring so-and-so badass villian guy".
If you're going to spoil it for me at least do it before I pick my loadout... don't think my tranq snipe and pistol are gonna get the job done.
Gust has announced - Yoru no Nai Kuni (working title) is coming to the West for PS4 in early 2016..
