Go ask that hubert cag guyOMG Best Buy customer support. Jesus Christ. I can't even get someone to talk to about the issue....
First time got an older woman who wouldn't let me move on til I updated my address (I have two on file with BB and apparently gave the wrong one) so I just hung up and then the second call I got a clueless chick who said she was going to transfer me to the "Finance and Credit Card" department before dumping me on about a 10 minute hold.
As Vig pointed out, its been way cheaper during sales multiple times. If I listened to you I'd never get a PS4!Shadow Warrior is $15. Any of you assholes with a PS4 that hasnt played it need to do yourself a favor and get it.
Zimm and Crazy should just buy it now for when they get their PS4s later this year.
Yes. Even the button-mashing rainbow notes (with the numbers in the middle) have to be hit with the specified button/direction. The bad thing is that you might not even know you failed the challenge until you finish the song because it keeps playing even if you hit any other key.Vig, am I understanding this Step Up challenge correctly in that if I hit any key other than X at a rainbow note, even a single time, I will fail the challenge?
You haven't reached Cotton Alley yet.Well the end seems a lot more manageable than rapture. I can almost get through 4 leaving 5 and the boss. Am I about to get blindsided?
Hasn't Shadow Warrior only been sub-$10 during that one flash sale? I guess there's always the chance it might drop that low again during this month's flash sale.As Vig pointed out, its been way cheaper during sales multiple times. If I listened to you I'd never get a PS4!
This is absolute garbage. I thought when you posted it before that you meant only those keys would register--like the note would count as missed unless you hit the specified key. I didn't realize it was an instant fail trigger. That's incredibly annoying and shitty.Yes. It's not really that bad, especially since you don't have to finish the song with that high of a rank to pass. Just make sure to focus more than anything else on hitting the right key for those rainbow notes. This is absolute garbage. Pretty sure it's been under $10 at least a couple times on PSN. I could be making it all up though.Hasn't Shadow Warrior only been sub-$10 during that one flash sale? I guess there's always the chance it might drop that low again during this month's flash sale.
ugh, you have to finish cotton alley to 'beat' the game? You haven't reached Cotton Alley yet.
Whoops, I forgot you're not going for 100%.ugh, you have to finish cotton alley to 'beat' the game?

When they're mixed in with other stuff it's not always easy to tell if you hit the wrong button. It doesn't interrupt your chain if you hit the wrong key on those. I've been playing with the note audio off, does it sound the wrong tone or does it give you a normal success tone as well? It's not that big a deal. If I hit something other then X I know I made a mistake and quit out of it.
Nope, it makes the same tone regardless. I can't think of any other advice to give other than the cliched "Practice, practice, practice".When they're mixed in with other stuff it's not always easy to tell if you hit the wrong button. And depending on the song, I do have trouble getting A-rank on hard, which is the other requirement for this song. I'm working my way through everything but this is my first rhythm game and I'm not very good at it.
It doesn't make a different sound I don't think. I'm not very good either but if I know the goal says to only hit X on rainbow notes, then when I don't, I realize my mistake, but sure it should probably fail out or something. So that's a flaw in the game. When they're mixed in with other stuff it's not always easy to tell if you hit the wrong button. It doesn't interrupt your chain if you hit the wrong key on those. Yeah 5 and the final boss are the only two hard levels in The End. 5 is probably going to take you a while.Well the end seems a lot more manageable than rapture. I can almost get through 4 leaving 5 and the boss. Am I about to get blindsided?
Only suckers that didn't get the other 4 digitally with that weird movie tickets glitch earlier. This might interest someone:

Is that game any good? I'd never heard of it, but it sounds interesting. And I like $2 games I don't need almost as much as I like lame overused juvenile jokes.Any of you Prime members want a new copy of Mindjack for $1.99?

My alumni edu address lets you link it to another email so everything sent to it should show up in the other mailbox.I'm still kinda pissed at myself for forgetting to sign up for Prime when it went on sale recently. I guess I can figure out my old .edu email and use that to subscribe. Is there a way to link an email address like that to an existing Amazon account? Seems like switching my account email to the .edu would end up with all my Amazon email going to the other address.
after the holidays, I think in the spring. usually you have to purchase it as a gift and email it to yourself and then redeem it when yours expires.Somebody mentioned recently that at certain times of the year Amazon offers Prime to old (and new) subscribers for a discount. When has that been in the past? The recent sale was for new subs only.
What framerate issues? Later on? I played through the Hydra in the first level and didnt see any issues really. Gameplay didnt seem compromised. The graphics are certainly dated but other than the cut scenes they are more than passable for Vita.Struggling through a button-masher with framerate issues will be fantastic for your Carpel tunnel. Good call.
Yeah, they're by far the worst hazard in the game. Even the homing rockets and flying brown enemies can be timed correctly, but those teeth are pretty much bullshit.Any level with these stupidin homing teeth might as well be luck based.
I haven't played it myself but I do recall seeing complaints about the framerate here and in other places. IIRC one of the problematic areas mentioned was the pillars section of GoW2.What framerate issues? Later on? I played through the Hydra in the first level and didnt see any issues really. Gameplay didnt seem compromised. The graphics are certainly dated but other than the cut scenes they are more than passable for Vita.
