Starting to get boring in here and I need to get away from the desk for a while as my forearms are starting to hurt.

So I think I will go play some God of War Vita!

As Vig pointed out, its been way cheaper during sales multiple times. If I listened to you I'd never get a PS4!

Yes. Even the button-mashing rainbow notes (with the numbers in the middle) have to be hit with the specified button/direction. The bad thing is that you might not even know you failed the challenge until you finish the song because it keeps playing even if you hit any other key.

This is absolute garbage. I thought when you posted it before that you meant only those keys would register--like the note would count as missed unless you hit the specified key. I didn't realize it was an instant fail trigger. That's incredibly annoying and shitty.

It's not really that bad, especially since you don't have to finish the song with that high of a rank to pass. Just make sure to focus more than anything else on hitting the right key for those rainbow notes.

When they're mixed in with other stuff it's not always easy to tell if you hit the wrong button. It doesn't interrupt your chain if you hit the wrong key on those. I've been playing with the note audio off, does it sound the wrong tone or does it give you a normal success tone as well?

And depending on the song, I do have trouble getting A-rank on hard, which is the other requirement for this song. I'm working my way through everything but this is my first rhythm game and I'm not very good at it.

Nope, it makes the same tone regardless. I can't think of any other advice to give other than the cliched "Practice, practice, practice".

It doesn't make a different sound I don't think. I'm not very good either but if I know the goal says to only hit X on rainbow notes, then when I don't, I realize my mistake, but sure it should probably fail out or something. So that's a flaw in the game.

I'm still kinda pissed at myself for forgetting to sign up for Prime when it went on sale recently. I guess I can figure out my old .edu email and use that to subscribe. Is there a way to link an email address like that to an existing Amazon account? Seems like switching my account email to the .edu would end up with all my Amazon email going to the other address. 

 
Somebody mentioned recently that at certain times of the year Amazon offers Prime to old (and new) subscribers for a discount. When has that been in the past? The recent sale was for new subs only.

I let Prime expire because I didn't want to spend $100 right now. I did love the free fast shipping and it's going to be hard to give that up, but I don't have a lingering .edu account in order to get it cheap.

My alumni edu address lets you link it to another email so everything sent to it should show up in the other mailbox.

after the holidays, I think in the spring. usually you have to purchase it as a gift and email it to yourself and then redeem it when yours expires.

What framerate issues? Later on? I played through the Hydra in the first level and didnt see any issues really. Gameplay didnt seem compromised. The graphics are certainly dated but other than the cut scenes they are more than passable for Vita.

 
Got 4 more levels in cotton alley assuming there is no boss. Ince I get that done Ill probably just go for Salt Boy and do 10 warp zones and call it done.
 
Tyler I feel your pain.  I have had to call BB twice in the past and neither time could I get someone who knew what I wanted or knew what to do with what I wanted.  Half the time I got hung up on when they tried to "transfer" me.  The other half were people in India who I really had a hard time understanding.

And I work with people in India every day so I am used to accents.

I haven't played it myself but I do recall seeing complaints about the framerate here and in other places. IIRC one of the problematic areas mentioned was the pillars section of GoW2.
