Tire saga also over. Went to my local tire shop and the dude said they are passable but not in great shape. But they're not even worn down enough to qualify for the mileage warranty that my current ones have on them. So just had them rotated and I'll get new ones next year.

Awesome butt buddy! I am also going to get new tires next year. We should totally make sure to tell each other what brand we are going to get and compare notes.

So I was able to get my BB order to go through. After spending close to an hour fruitlessly on the phone with BB I decided to call my bank and see if they could reactivate my old card. They said they couldn't do that, but could authorize the charges on the old card to be moved to the new card and approved. They did that and told me to try and put the order through again. I did that about 30 mins later and it worked on the first try. Went and picked up Talos Principle and got my shipping confirmation for Dragon Quest!

So all in all, Chase Bank is awesome and Best Buy is dumb as rocks.

Too bad Chase Bank isn't in charge of BB Reward accounts. Someone e-mailed me from twitter so the chain has now begun...hopefully they can sort out my issues.

 
I got my nexus 7 working with ps4 remote play. It has on screen controls that are actually kinda cool, but I'm going to try to connect a ds4 to it and see how it works. It does look kinda nice on the 7" screen vs the vita.
 
So the throw back to the pitcher hits the batter's bat and rolls away and Texas gets a run out of it as the runner on third runs home to take a 3-2 lead, causing Toronto fans to throw stuff on the field based on what I heard on the radio while driving home.  Haven't seen the play yet.

Curious how it works out, read somwhere that the button mappings were funky which turned me off to trying it out. Might be nice if Sony added DS4 support to the Vita.
 
Finished the story on Sleeping Dogs.  Game was a blast to play.  Probably knock out a few more trophies and maybe play one of the DLCs.

The camera angles at time were annoying but otherwise I thought it played pretty well.

 
Watched the clips of Toronto fans throwing trash on the field. What a shame they won. If KC wins I'll have no one to root for in the AL. Guess what that would mean Zimm!!!
 
Just watched the play. Clearly a run so the blue jays had zip to be angray about that the run scored. The ump was wrong for trying to call the play dead but the guy was going to score anyway.
 
So UC1 remastered is done on Hard mode, just a hair under 9 hours overall.  I'll go back and farm a couple of trophies (75 kills without dying, 10 steel fist kills in a row) tomorrow and then gonna play something else before going on to UC2.

 
i take it back the wildcard dlc is actually gonna cost $ on hands of fate and it isn't even up on ps store yet. The apprentice and warlord are free tho so you can get 3 more trophies and they are for easy/hard mode. also the 3 Murder at Sea trophies are free and in the main game. but the 9 or so extra fate 'classes' are gonna be sold as a bundle or individually i guess next tuesday or so

 
Cubs put Schwarber's home run ball in plexiglass that landed on top of the video scoreboard yesterday and are leaving it up there throughout the playoffs.  Keep tempting those baseball gods, Cubbies because you know something's going to happen, either someone else hits one off it, a bird (probably a Blue Jay) takes a massive dump on it, Bartman steals it, something.

It wasn't mentioned. Looks like it's being developed by Cyanide again, like the first Styx game. Of Orcs and Men was done by Cyanide and Spiders. I've not played a Cyanide game yet, but Bound by Flame was by Spiders and I enjoyed that enough for Spiders games to automatically have my interest. Spiders upcoming game The Technomancer looks quite cool, too.

I meant to play Styx last month but didn't get to it. Need to give it a try soon.

 
that red oaks show on amazon prime is probably the best homage to 80s movies I've ever seen. it somehow manages to poke fun at them and maintain the charming sincerity of them at the same time. I hope they continue it.

So far we've watched 3 or 4 amazon prime original series and I've enjoyed each of them.

I also haven't posted about blood bowl in a few hours so ... blood bowl!

You know the coolest thing by far about watching this is that I kept focusing on the wrong one. There'd be a lead bandage girl that looked like she was doing well and then BAM she's dead and I'm left looking over a horde of copies and wondering which one to pay attention to next.
