It'd be a really terrible month for me if it wasn't or Dragon Fin Soup which looks like something I would enjoy.  The only real problem I would have with that game is the terrible font choice, I think Sage mentioned it earlier.

Unless they linked wrong on the EU PS Blog, Invizimals is the PSP version. But it's specifically identified as PS Vita so I am hoping they just grabbed the wrong link in the PS Blog EU post.

No slaps at all for me as I dont own any of these games.  Was interested in Mass Effect long ago but decided I will never get to it and now the first two games at least are ancient.

Really?!?! I know you are smarter than this, but you sound like the mouth breathers that reply on the blog.

They do not have to ever tell us the games early. They have never changed plus without a LOT of up front info. Last month's video only showed the 2 PS4 games (as you even referenced) just like this one. What makes you even begin to assume they will change things?
Sorry, I'm not sure what I was thinking when I posted that. I blame Super Meat Boy.

BG&E is a slight slap considering I bought it during a flash sale a few months ago, but it wasn't that expensive and otherwise the lineup is OK. Dragon Fin Soup looks interesting, and while ME2 really needs its DLC add-ons to get the best experience, it's awesome anyway.

EDIT: Actually, considering a used copy from Gamestop is $4.99 and includes three good pieces of DLC (Kasumi: Stolen Memories, Overlord, Lair of the Shadow Broker), this isn't one of the better Plus offerings. I also don't see those DLC on PSN, so there's no other way to get them unless you bought the $34.99 Ultimate Edition.

You haven't looked at the blog comments, have you?
Those comments are dumb as always. So many people blowing up that its season 2, even though we have had season one already. And of course the usual all indies for PS4 even though Walking dead I do not consider Indie.

Yeah, the font kinda bugs me. Otherwise pretty interested in trying it out. List this month is pretty good imo, pretty much everything is something i'd try playing at least . Not so sure on invisimals though. I think that uses the camera to get monsters or something if I'm remembering correctly

People would be happy about Mass Effect 2 even tho it's ancient

I like the lineup. Some good stuff. I'm up for PSNOT Magicka. I've never played Mass Effect anything. Will it be a problem jumping straight to 2? I don't especially want to buy ME1 unless I end up liking ME2.

I have. They're moronic. This one takes the cake:

Complaining that a game he wants IS going to be free. They can't win. I honestly hope they don't read the comments and feedback that they receive each month. There is nothing of value there.

Pretty sure ME2 on PS3 comes with everything except the last DLC they released. Arrival or whatever.

And people don't usually take actual game price into consideration when judging a free game. Lots of Xboxers wet themselves over BFBC2 which was $2 at the time. Knack and Killzone can be acquired for around $10 now, yet people still seem to prefer them over the $15-$25 PS4 titles we've recieved the last couple months.

I want anyone to go undefeated to shut up the Dolphins. I want someone to break their record before they all die.

I do think its cool they pop champaigne when the last undefeated team loses though. They just get so snobby about it. Going undefeated takes a lot more luck than skill. There have been much better teams that dont go undefeated due to injuries and fluke plays like the Giants had against the Pats.
There was nothing flukey about the pass from Manning to Tyree. Eli avoided the sack for the only time in his career and Tyree caught the ball against his helmet over Rodney Harrison. Dem mad skillz, dawg.

And while that ball was in the air I was screaming ELI, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! thinking that pass was about to be picked off as he chucked it downfield.

Didn't notice this edit. You might be right. I assumed the regular ME2 PSN game would include all the DLC that comes with the disc at least, but the existence of the Ultimate Edition is making me question that....

Really? If so, then that becomes a much better value. I don't see any included DLC mentioned on the listing for ME2, though, other than the Cerberus Pack.

Yeah, I thought that paragraph made more sense in the post where I commented on the Plus lineup. I guess we'll have to wait and see whether Sony screwed this up.

Yay, it's trick or treat night. I get to walk around in the cold collecting candy I can't eat and miss part of the baseball game. There's no reason the kid can't walk around in the dark by herself. She's 5 now. Right?

First 10 shrines activated dream sequence done. Really should have read up on the shrine effects though, the one where the enemies suddenly disappear and can't be hit is annoying as fuck

I take it your neighborhood doesn't have unofficial drunk trick or treaking for the adults? All the parents stuck out with the kids in my parents neighborhood just went out with their favorite liquor and occasionally traded on the way. In retrospect, that was pretty fucking awesome.

Just to be sure, I assume you mean traded liquor?

Sounds good in theory, but drunkenly leading a child across streets in the dark isn't really something I wanna do.

That dumbass could just not add it to his collection in November and instead buy it in December after it goes off the free games list.

Shouldn't be a problem. Back when ME2 first came out, the first Mass Effect wasn't even available for Playstation owners. (right?)

There's a sequence in the beginning that re-caps everything, and you can always read wikipedia to fill in the blanks.

Not only does it re-cap everything, it's an interactive comic that lets you make maybe a half dozen important choices that happened during the first game. ME2 is actually still the only ME games I've played.

You forgot to mention all the uncalled O-lne holding.

#fuckEli

I'm happy about Dragon Fin Soup. I've been interested in that for around a year now and have posted about it in here a few times now. Magicka 2 might be good--I played the first on PC but there was a slowdown issue that made it annoying.

Already have ME2 and BG&E. No interest at all in Invizimals.

ME2 came late to PS3 so it include every piece of story DLC except the Arrival which came out after it was released (and I still need to play Arrival and ME3). The Cerberus pack was their anti-used game thing as it was a printed code that was included with the game so it would likely be missing from the used version. That's the reason they mention it as being included on the ME2 store page as its similar to an online pass. The rest of the DLC which aren't included are only weapon and appearance packs.

edit: I figure they just word the UE version that way to sucker people into buying it even though the only extra story content you get is Arrival. Those 3 DLC packs you listed were on the disc of ME2 so there's no reason they shouldn't be included.

So ESPN must really be hard up for stories.  They have a video about possible NFL trades (to be fair I think they say ones they would like to see, but still).  JJ Watt to the Packers for 3 first rounders.  Calvin Johnson to the Patriots for a first rounder.  Jay Cutler to the Redskins but I am not sure what they said in exchange for.  A Happy Meal coupon should work though.

Sounds like someone had fun making dream trades in Madden without considering economics or the GMs of the teams. Ted doesn't do big high profile trades. Especially not multiple first rounders. I support the hard up for stories theory.

That said I would welcome JJ back to the motherland with open arms.

If anybody who is always picking at the end of the rounds anyway would not give up 3 first rounders to get JJ, they are a fool. Granted, that does not address the cap ramifications that would likely prevent such a move.

I'd gladly give him away for free. Shame not included, but you can have all the rocks from the bottom of this pit we've dug.

I guess Dragon FIn Soup was a Kickstarter game. That's kind of shitty to the backers.
I thought that about Sportsfriends. Backers gave their money in Nov/Dec 2012 hoping to get the game in Oct 2013. It got pushed to May 2014. Then it was on plus Sept 2014. So if you gave a crap about this game, you had to wait a year and a half. And if you didn't give a crap, you got it free 4 months after it came out (and you probably complained because you didn't give a crap about it).

Then again, maybe dragon fin soup backers will be happy a game that they believed in and supported is going to get a much bigger audience than normal. The only game I've ever kickstarted is amplitude and if everyone else got it free, I wouldn't care. I still get a bunch of bonuses and I gave them my money because I loved the original frequency and amplitude and just wanted it to get made.

Anyone else excited about Binding of Isaac Afterbirth dlc releasing today?

I wish it was on ps4 also today, but im betting its just pc for now...

They could pull a hand of fate tho and release the dlc on a friday out of nowhere tho, that would be awesome

So looks like MS is bringing out all the stops this year for the holidays.  Dell has a crazy bundle for  black friday already posted(GOW 5oogb bundle with Fall out and extra controller for $299) and next week Best Buy is doing the 1 TB bundle with free extra game and $50 GC for $399...

So all those crappy bundles that they announced for the holidays look to be just the start, as many retailers will discount and add games and gift cards to.  Man are they desperate.

already got 100% on beyond good and evil and wd2, but totally down for magicka 2 and dragon fin soup. already got me2 in backlog.

n yeah cainiac etc down for magicka 2 co op play. almost got level 25 in helldivers, just beat siegemech yesterday, but that 100k kills is gonna be a grindy grind

also this events tab on ps4 is useless. I have had events in helldivers (liberty day) and gtaV (lowriders and now halloween event) in the past week and neither of them are on the events tab, but all this fifa stuff and driveclub and games iv never played have events posted... ugh

gtav masks/makeup and slasher game modes and hearse are all awesome
