So I have enough power up rewards points for a $15 off coupon, but seriously what is there to buy at Gamestop? $15 off basically just brings most games down to amazon/ebay used prices...

On the GS app, the coupons have a 1/15/16 expiration, but if you go to GS.com to print out the coupons, they show a 12/31/15 expiration. I'm operating under the assumption that the latter is the correct one.

Thanks I will probably grab a $15 and $25 and try to use it towards maybe JC3 or maybe some decent flip to BB between now and then.

I'm not sure what I was thinking when I didn't add FFXV to my half-off order; JC3, which already shipped, was the last from it.

EDIT: I was probably hoping for a reasonably-priced CE that includes a soundtrack and/or steelbook.

Yeah, using the coupons on new releases (whether to keep or flip) or Nintendo games (to keep) is probably the best way to go. I think I'll use a few of them on Yoshi's Woolly World.

I tried the Gouda burger at Wendy's and wasn't that thrilled with it. Their regular burger tastes better. Gouda is a mild cheese so it's kind of hard to tell a difference and the sauce was bland. 2 diamonds.
 
Uncharted 4 is my last half-off order now that JC3 is shipped, and I have the Amazon preorder plus I got Best Buy to match it too. Have yet to cancel the BB order though cause I don't want to deal with calling them about issuing me a new GC. So dumb.

I had found Family Guy on clearance for $7 at Target over lunch and had it in my hand and was walking up to the register when I thought better of it and put it down.

Will need to try this burger. In terms of the sauce being too bland, a lot of times the amount the person decides to squirt onto the burger at that time makes all the difference. Ate at Red Robin over the weekend, and I like the Smoke and Pepper burger. Most of the time they slap the pepper ketchup on there liberally and it tastes great. This last time the burger was bland. Opened up the burger, and they barely put any of the ketchup on there.

Not unless after putting it down you picked up an Uncharted PS4 bundle and bought it. Good to see that you are learning though.

 
If a girl that was super duper hot in high school but is a little thicker now but still not bad posts on Facebook that she'll do "cleaning and other jobs" for extra money, that means she's hooking, right? So it's okay to suggest some things? Someone tell me I'm wrong.

I can thank Vig for me unintentionally finding that one. Went to Gamestop's site for the power up rewards and they had a link right on the front page to ThinkGeek's cyber monday sales. Some other cool stuff on sale too (Mega Man Mega Buster would be so sweet, but it's $60) but this one was cool and cheap enough to justify purchasing.

No, there was plenty of sauce, but it pretty much just tastes like mayo. Now I like mayo, but a burger with only mayo on it is no good.

 
New laptop update (since I know you all care deeply):

BB forgot the wife dropped it off and is just going to give her a new, unopened version of the one we bought.

So basically we got a new lappy for half off-ish.

No for-your-trouble PS4 or people fired though (I lack Vig skills).

Way late, but I don't think anybody addressed the individual movies at all.

1 - Intro. Tame and realistic for the series. Watch it, but not as good as later entries.

2 - Dunno. Stars Paul Walker but not the rest of the initial cast.

3 - Dunno. New cast set in Tokyo.

4 - Alright. Plotty shit. Main initial cast + characters from 2 and 3.

5 - Fantastic. Vault scenes were great.

6 - Fantastic. Some really fun action sequences.

7 - Meh. Overly dramatic and not delivering the same way 5-6 did.\

8-10 - Not out yet. They've seriously said they're planning on 10, though, with the last movies being some kind of trilogy. Of course there will also be spin-offs and prequels so there could be like 50 of the damn things by the time this is all over.

I can't see how jet.com can survive. Shitty website and generally worse prices than other places. Maybe a prediction of Best Buy closing is premature, but I think you could safely run a "When will jet.com shut down" office pool and have it pay out fairly quickly.

If it wasn't for a $30 DS4 with coupon I'd never have used them. Plus my 1st timer status is now gone. From what I've heard things are looking up for Best Buy actually as well.

I ordered a number of things from jet.com. That $25 off $50 for new customers combined with creating two new accounts worked out quite nicely. And every item I ordered was at the same price or lower compared to Amazon. Hard to complain.

Maybe it's old news but I was reading today that Sony unlocked a core for use in PS4 SDK that was previously locked, I assume in case they needed it for the OS or other such things. Not sure if it will mean much of a performance boost in games not yet released but I guess we'll see.

Wonder if it was the one lower powered one that was supposed to do updates in the background and make standby use very little power. One that they later figured out wasn't suitable for the task?

Sony should use that core to sync trophies automatically, which currently never seems to work without me manually syncing trophies. Does anyone else have this issue?

Anybody watching the current season of Grimm? Last season was so bad we decided to quit watching it, but there was a cliffhanger getting rid of
Juliet and she was central to a ton of the worst stuff on the show.
I don't expect it made a difference, but has the show gotten any better?

I do, I keep forgetting to look if there was an option I didn't have turned on. They don't seem to sync automagically though.

Edit: Just read this: "you just have to enaable automatic downloads in the System settings" I'll have to check and make sure that's on I guess, not sure why it wouldn't be.

I don't believe my PS4 has ever synced automatically. Pretty sure it doesn't even when left running. Definitely doesn't when in Rest mode, nor does it turn on to sync like my PS3 does at 11pm or so every night.

I doubt they'd add a core to the SDK for system tasks like trophy syncing, though. Can't imagine they give game devs access to that type of stuff at all.
