I bought the Lego Movie blu-ray that was posted here the other day, but afterward I realized we already have it on DVD. Not sure the kids are going to be excited about receiving a blu-ray version of something we already have even if it's HD. Probably going to return that.

As someone who loved the SCUMM Engine games from back in the day, I expected to like their stuff. Brutal Legend started out great and went to shit. I had to really struggle through Broken Age. I was not a fan of the story at all.

Those experiences kept me from buying Grim Fandango when it was on sale.

I would love to replay brutal legend if it weren't such a time commitment. after the initial shock of what the game actually was I remember having a pretty good time with it, but now I wonder if I was really depressed or something.

I hit analysis paralysis after trying for 3 days to get my settlement to 100% and failing. I really want to get back to Fallout 4 goodness but I was plowing through it too fast anyway, I need to slow down and savor it a little bit.

Even if you lived under a rock most of the time, if you grew up in Wisconsin you should have been to Festa Italiana at least once. Also there was an old Italian guy that carried a cooler and sold cannoli and who knows what else in every popular bar in Milwaukee.

It's not without issues but...Psychonauts is still one of my favorite games. #notpointandclick

There are 4 PS3 games on PSN, and the only one not added to PS+ is Costume Quest 2. Here's the total list of PS4 games:

  • My Alien Buddy
  • Broken Age (already added to PS+)
  • Costume Quest 2
  • Grim Fandango Remastered
I'd be really, really surprised if we don't see Grim Fandango show up eventually, especially since they made a big deal of it by announcing it at Sony's E3 presentation 2014. It's also cross-buy with Vita so there's two opportunities for it.

For the record, I've had plenty of good Italian food in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Just never had the desserts for whatever reason. I ate an amazing market that had amazing mastacoli that we got the treats from today. And all the amazing Fazoli's in Wisconsin!

(I keed. I've eaten at a real Italian restaurant in Eau Claire and Madison and both were damn tasty good.)

 
Madchemist, now that Kirby is likely going to UGAly with Richt getting axed, who are you hearing will be the next target for the job?  I am listening to Finebaum because I wanted to hear all the reaction and someone brought up Muschamp (Schlabach I think) and it shocked the hell out of me.

I am wondering if Missouri and/or South Carolina take a run at Richt.

It's in Japanese but I imagine we'll see a translation fairly soon. The video does a good job of showing off the games' drama and makes the series really appealing. Love the character designs. I really need to get back to that first Plus game I have backlogged. Too many jRPGs.   :wall:

 
Thanks for the heads up on the cheap GS rewards certs Vig. Hopefully JC3 will show up at a GS around here before they expire. If not I'm sure something flip worthy will. 

Also: wouldn't work on the desktop site for me for whatever reason. Had to redeem though the app.

Over in the GS thread people on mobile seemed to have issues. I had no problems ordering them on my PC. I have not printed them yet but figured it would be easier if I had them printed out vs trying to show them 3 or 4 bar codes on my phone (I have a 20% of used as well).

 
I thought the Game of Thrones Telltale game ran kind of parallel to the show, but the opening act throws you right into the events surrounding one of the main parts from the show/books.  Definitely do not play this if you have not watched and plan to at some point.

 
Reading some JC3 reviews.  The frame rate may have issues from time to time but who cares about that when they mention dumb ass escort missions.  That sounds terrible.  But the game is still a prettier JC2 overall so still HYPED.
