That's going to last a while. It trades in for $9 at best buy too lol

As for paying shipping, is Store Pickup not available for you?

This belongs in the sig of 95% of all gaming CAGs.I just get sooooo tempted with cheap video games though![]()
I was missing something obscure for dying time, like one of the giant shapes or something. Not hard to run in to stuff until it pops though. Impressive work nonetheless. Ass.Alright, two levels left in Geometry Wars. I've three starred all ove them up to this point, so I should be almost done with Adventure mode. I just got the dying time trophy too, which seems like it shouldn't be that tough to get but had a pretty low percentage.
FTFYSpeaking of Best Buy. They failed me for Xmas. I had pre-ordered a Pit amiibo for one of our kids, so they got a pre-order for Xmas. I opted for store pickup as I figured then he'd get it quicker. But come release day I get a call from Best Buy saying they haven't received their shipment yet and they'd call me when it was in. Days pass and so I check the status online and it says it's ready for pickup. We go in and after a lot of searching they finally come back to me and say they haven't received them and that online pre-orders with in-store pickup always say they are ready for pickup on release day even if the item is not ready for pickup. So now we wait, but the online status is going to be canceled soon because I haven't picked it up yet. Thanks a lot OBAMA!
Imagine my poor hubby and wallet. Like our typical female I buy clothes, shoes, and make up, now throw in my video game addiction, I mean, hobby and now I'm probably expensive ....This belongs in the sig of 95% of all gaming CAGs.
I beat the main game first and then went online for the last trophy. I have no idea if it mattered or not.Yup, i need that online trophy.
Others who got plat, did you beat main game first? Read something about online can screw up your game save or something?
Anybody play this? How is it? I'm tempted. The Vita version of LEGO Batman 3 is $9.99 ($7.99 w/ GCU) at Bestbuy.com: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lego-batman-3-beyond-gotham-ps-vita/6624109.p?id=1219229384909&skuid=6624109&sellerId=
$8.91 TIV at Amazon...Looks like it's time for my first LEGO Batman game.
It likely will, in about a year or more when the sales have slowed way down. Best Buy just seems to want to get out of the Vita business at this point. Why can't the PS4 version of Lego Batman hit that price? That's my sweet spot for it.
It's supposedly a big improvement over past LEGO Batman titles on Vita, but other than that, I'm not sure.Anybody play this? How is it? I'm tempted.
Hopefully it doesnt suffer from the same problems Lego Marvel on Vita had. It's supposedly a big improvement over past LEGO Batman titles on Vita, but other than that, I'm not sure.
Have you ever played a lego game?Anybody play this? How is it? I'm tempted.
Apparently my ps3 copy comes with a digital codeHopefully it doesnt suffer from the same problems Lego Marvel on Vita had.
*no switching characters.
* one life per level
* time limits
* bad camera/controls on some levels. touch controls to fly.....
But for $9. How could I go wrong.
Tempted to pick up Sly Thieves in Time for $4 too. (Although I think I bought a PS3 digitla code on Amazon a few months ago that I never used.....)
Was going to pass on bat man, but since I have to go pre-order this, might as well get it.I hesitate to post this because I don't have enough to pay for it until this evening (most of my Best Buy gift cards are at home), but...
All you need to know is fartgorilla on metacritic gave it an 8.Anybody play this? How is it? I'm tempted.
I did, I think I will have to grind a couple still though, possibly the 1k kills (still have 5 and 6 to go so maybe not) but defintely the blow up one thats like 50 of those. Only did it a handful of times so far, so think I will have to grind that for sure.Yeah, I beat the main game, getting all of its trophies first like Zimm. I did read that playing online can erase all progress in the campaign, so as long as you either play the online right away or save it until the very end, you should be fine.
I recommend looking at the trophy list beforehand so you know what to aim for while playing the campaign to minimize having to grind at the end.

Started the Vita version yesterday, and have completed the first 5 Chapters so far. Thought I would share some info for those who are wondering what this version will bring.
I will start off saying it is different than the last few Vita games....sort of.
The Level format is much the same - shorter, smaller areas, with defined objectives, vs the large sprawling level design in the console versions. This is quite similar to the recent Vita games.
However, the 10 Challenges format is gone. You now have 5 Gold Brick objectives per Level. One is always for completing the Level, and so far there seems to be a Joker Card on every level (unlocks a character, replacing the old MiniKit collectable), a Stud total to collect, and a few variables - destroy Joker items, Bat symbols, combat challenges.
There are NO multichallenges (those 3 part objectives), and so far NO time challenges.
There is also no permadeath/one life limit. I walked off edges a few times, losing all hearts, and you just respawn (yay!)
There ARE hubs. I know this will make a lot of people happy. So far I have unlocked the Batcave and the Space Hangar. These serve as access points for the Levels, hints, characters etc. There are also objectives to explore and things to build in the hubs.
There is no Level select menu - in the previous games, you simply scrolled through the levels and selected what you wanted to play. That is gone. You now access Levels exclusively through the hub.
Levels are designed to be completed in 3's. This serves as a Chapter (and each Chapter completion rewards a trophy), after which you are returned to, or move to a new hub. You can replay previous Levels from the Hub.
Red Bricks are earned in Levels, not in the hub (as you usually would with the console versions).
Graphics are very good. I assume there must be a movie linked to the game, as the cutscenes are excellent. Probably the best quality of any of the Vita versions (remember the old 'looking through grease' videos - yeah, they're gone).
Trophy wise, seems straight forward. At least one person on PSNP has the plat, with a 1 day 5 hr time stamp. I'm seeing 2 playthrough minimum + hub exploration, probably 15 hour range.
I think this version will make people happier than the past few Vita games. Still probably a "console-lite", but improvements have been added.
No its not, it is yours. Unless you want to send him the physical disk to use the code and send it back to you. That is the only way to activate it. There is a menu item on the PS3 disk for activating the code on your account in the store.Apparently my ps3 copy comes with a digital code
It's yours
I just don't know how to get it so someone will have to help
That is horrible! That is also a lie, they are the ones that select that it is ready for pickup, if there is an issue such as no stock or a mistake on their end they will mark it in the system and you will get an immediate refund. I would call the help line and I am sure they will compensate you in some way.Speaking of Best Buy. They failed me for Xmas. Yeah, you'll have to do a bit of grinding for the 1k kills trophy, as well as the "Kill a Combination of 18 Impalers or Executioners" trophy, but you can just replay the final chapter for those and the blow-up one.I did, I think I will have to grind a couple still though, possibly the 1k kills (still have 5 and 6 to go so maybe not) but defintely the blow up one thats like 50 of those. I cant get it to happen for me very well, I aim for the glowing stuff on their backs but wind up killing them instead of them blowing up.

Well that sucks. Everything elder complained about I liked. I really hate the hub worlds and love the challenges on the levels. The no perma death thing I am indifferent on. I am not sure I ever died on a level and had to restart anyway. From PST.org:
Get the platinum and then auto pop the vita version.Oh, well that sucks
Sorry Elder didn't know, my bad

What he wanted was the Pit Amiibo, not money back. I won't get charged once the pickup time has expired, but that won't get us the Pit Amiibo. It's still unclear if Nintendo is reprinting these things or not, so he may never get it. Best Buy is not making me happy right now. That is horrible! I understand that... and you are right. but like you said you won't be getting that Amiibo, but Best Buy can at least give you something for the inconvenienceWhat he wanted was the Pit Amiibo, not money back. I do not recall any issue with them in the Vita games. Yes, the home console flight controls sucked. But I thought you also hated the flight controls in LEGO games...
Huh?Get the platinum and then auto pop the vita version.
I am assuming they are talking about sly cooper... if you play it on PS3 you can start it up and it will automatically pop the same trophies on Vita and vice versa. So really you have one plat, but if you start up the other version you will end up with 2 platinums.Huh?
Break it down for me please kemosabe. Auto pop what now?
When you select in-store pickup for a Bestbuy.com order, you can specify if someone other than you will be picking up the item. Unfortunately, this only works if you know ahead of time that someone else will be picking it up. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Walmart.com has a better system for in-store pickups in that you can specify an alternate person that might pick up the item instead (i.e., your name is still listed as a possible pickup person).Has anyone had any luck with someone other than the person who is on the card that paid for the item pick up an in-store pickup at Best Buy? I did not think about that rule and I had planned to have my wife pick up the game tomorrow when she is already at the store for car pool.
She has a card with the same number so I hope it will work. I really don't want to have to go to the store.
I used the sniper rifle. I can't recall which chapter/section I reloaded but there was one section I think in Chapter 6 where you come up the stairs and you are shooting the red things that blow up. There is a 3 or 4 of those guys on a platform to your left. Shoot them then die. Rinse and repeat till it pops.I did, I think I will have to grind a couple still though, possibly the 1k kills (still have 5 and 6 to go so maybe not) but defintely the blow up one thats like 50 of those. I did not even get a chance to fill in that box. My CC expiration had changed. When I went to change that the order just went through automatically. I have the email printed off, she has a card with the same number, and how many people with the last name Tew even exist. Since she will be there already, I will have her try and hope for the best. Otherwise, I guess Ill just have to drive over tomorrow night myself. When you select in-store pickup for a Bestbuy.com order, you can specify if someone other than you will be picking up the item. As for problems, it depends on how strict the employee is. If you can, you might want to give your wife some form of ID for you so they can confirm that she's picking it up for you.
You could try calling customer service and having them change the pickup person name on the order? Mine is strict about that kind of thing, but I think it's standard for them to check id and the original form of payment (unless it was gift cards).Has anyone had any luck with someone other than the person who is on the card that paid for the item pick up an in-store pickup at Best Buy?
