I'm about to watch The Equalizer and they showed a trailer for that Powers TV show that's coming to PlayStation. It looks really corny :( Sharlto Copley was great in District 9 but he hasn't really done anything good since.

It's obvious at this point that I dig RPGs more than FPS, and you trend in the opposite direction. Thus our diverging thoughts on the Fallout games.
That doesn't make any sense at all. Even if I did prefer FPSs to RPGs, NV and FO3 have the same exact system in place. One is no more an RPG or an FPS than the other.

I've said before that the one thing NV had on FO3 are the faction relationships, but that's not enough to say that it's more of an RPG. As for the FPS angle, they're pretty much the same.

What sets the games apart is the environment and the writing, which we obviously disagree heavily on. Oh, that and the fact that you don't have to restart FO3 fifty times to get through it.

Maybe Matt and Munky would come back then.

it looks like someone took a regular flag and colored the white stripes green. They 're hanging over the railing in the end zone where the first two tds were scored.
Yeah, I'm sorry, I misread your post at first so I was looking for actual flags.

The one's you see you buy in the stores around here.

The one game I went to at Gillette, the crowd would sing along to the songs. I thought it was weird, but my friend who has season tickets said they always do it. Cool that you could hear it on tv though.

I think I recently read something that said Gillette is the loudest stadium in the NFL by a huge margin.

I don't like MMOs, and I don't like FPS. I like single-player MMO FPS even less. One of the best parts of the first game, the leveling of gun types upon use of them, is gone in BL2. One of the worst parts, the story, is expanded and made even worse. The loot system was made more stingy, and the enemies take more bullets.

I haven't played 2 yet, but enjoyed the hell out of 1. There were just two things about the first game that absolutely infuriated me with how stupid they were about wasting time, though:

  1. You can only track one quest at a time. So you go into town, you get assigned 5 quests for the same map area, and then select one quest and wander all over a huge map for a set of collectibles, choose the next quest and do the same thing, etc., running over the same area multiple times. The other alternative is to keep going into the quest system, switch between quests to try to see where all the quest goals are, then when you're in the general area that several quests share, switch quests back and forth to try to get everything all at once for better efficiency. Neither approach is at all appealing. Why don't they just show all the quest points for every mission you have? Plenty of games do that and it's a much more sensible and satisfying approach.
  2. The DLC doesn't have warp points. I spent so much time running around in Zombie Island and General Knoxx just getting to and from quest locations. I'd spend 10 minutes traveling to a quest, complete it, then have to run/drive another ten minutes back to town. It got to the point where I'd finish the quest and then exit out of the game because the game would warp me back to town that way. I'd still have to spend 10 minutes traveling from town to the next quest point, though.
Not sure if BL2 still has problem #2 or not. Pretty sure the first issue is still around.

Sometimes you crack me up.

Sometimes.

The Equalizer was pretty good. John Wick is a much more fun approach to the same idea, though.

I think that Papa John's ad with Joe Moochtana is hilarious.

Yeah I want to see that too. Everyone bashes on Keanu but I like him.

Name a good actor is what I meant, should have worded better.
Paul Giamatti and Geoffrey Rush are both good. Philip Seymour Hoffman was good before he killed himself. Johnny Depp used to be pretty solid, though a lot of his roles nowadays tend to feel pretty samey. Gary Oldman has some really nice variety as well, though I tend to prefer his older roles where he got intense as fuck (Leon for example.)

Seahawks defense hasn't given up a point in 4th qtr in last 6 games. Let's see what happens.
That is a pretty misleading stat, because they played garbage teams, except for the Eagles, during that period. Rams, Cardinals (starting qb was out the 1st time and the 3rd string was starting the second time), 49ers twice.

I hope the Packers win tomorrow, because they probably have a better chance at beating Seattle in the NFC championship game, and at least making it interesting. Also, fuck the Cowboys.

Garbage teams. Did you say that out loud before typing it?
