Yeah, that should be easy enough to do, although well played. I spent a handful of hours off and on figuring out how it works and picking up some random trophies to kind of explore all the different modes. Changed my system time to sneak through the 'do X between Y and Z time' trophies and it erased all of what little progress I had back to zero which was a bit disheartening.

But I do suck and I suspect you're pretty awesome at it. It is super cool and eventually I'll get back to it. I've played guitar for probably 20 years and i definitely have a lot of bad habits that i could stand to unlearn.

It's also hard to play at 4a when everyone's asleep.

Excuses excuses.
 
So Mild, what were the results of the pinball poll?  Or what have you decided will be the next tables?  And this round goes the full week till next Sunday at 11:59pm rightright?

For the rpg one, yeah. I posted a rant about how much a PITA it is to boost stuff with him after many of us had him hold us up during Burnout Paradise. He responded that he was an angel during it, and I kind of doubled down with the rant. After that, he took his ball and went home.

I don't hate the guy. I just hated how he seemed to always be in it just for himself when boosting. He apparently took offense.

That's never bugged me unless they specifically say something like "God gave me this victory." Usually I just understand it that they're thanking God for their talents and abilities and good fortune and stuff, not thanking God for letting them beat another team. It's still kind of odd to bring up, but it doesn't bug me.

 
My favorite is when I'm watching Survivor or Big Brother or some other dum reality show and they all gather round to pray that they don't go home and make it another week or whatever dumfuck thing they do in those games.  Because if God exists, he/she really gives a soaring rainbow fuck about your dum reality game.

Remember when I said my kid was retarded cause she couldn't ride a bike?

Well she can't swing on a swing by herself either. She has the worst coordination. Which is odd since my wife played tennis and could have turned pro and I played sports as a kid too. But my kid is going to be the tard who gets picked last for everything.

Neither had mics. Vig sees the need to get one after playing and RPG seems to think we should just deal with it. Vig rarely even plays online and RPG always wanted to boost. That is the short version.

 
Basically, RPG got called out on his always being a dick when it comes to boosting. He would try to make sure he got all his trophies first and then just rush everyone to finish so he didn't have to help anymore. He was selfish and all the people he boosted with called him out and he bailed on the thread.

Pretty much this. I know when we boosted BioShock he kept wanting to bail before everyone was done.

I don't understand why he's like this when he's boosting because in the thread he was actually pretty helpful with posting updates and solutions.

And yeah, I know all he did was google the solution half the time, but my point is he put some effort in trying to be helpful to others in the thread. Unfortunately it didn't roll over to when he would play games with others.

i have it loaded on my ps3 so im always ready to try again but I think someone posted it only works from pc-ps3 connections and not ps3-ps3. hopefully it is fixed now. Everyone always says how great Portal 2 is but all I can think of is how the co op servers are broken and I can never get the plat...

That's why when we played Bioshock 2 I had to equip the bees to get my point across. Nobody likes being blind from a swarm of bees.

Boosting Batman was frustrating because the lack of a mic with 8 people online.

I have it on steam, but highly doubt I can play on my laptop.

 
Plus I was always mad at RPG when after I gave him a bunch of phantoms for free games like Minecraft, Ass Creed Liberation, etc, he wouldn't even knock $1 off something I wanted to buy from him and completely ignored me about it. Real good pal.
