I said earlier that (during Season 1) these were some of the friendliest prisoners I'd ever seen. I wonder if that's something the writers took into account. I mean, the show basically glorified Litchfield as a fun girl's camp. I think someone (Pancakes?) said that they didn't like Season 2 nearly as much because they made all the characters unlikable. I didn't think it was that bad but I certainly understand how someone could feel like that.
Season 2 was pretty good except for the first episode where Chapman had to go to max and nobody knew what the

was going on. The rest of the season was pretty good and the storylines made a bit more sense to me and reminded me that they were in fact in prison. They did a great job with V as the main antagonist. I've had about enough of the Bennett/Daya storyline (turning himself in makes NO sense, why the

is she pushing this?), I don't think they have any idea what to do with Pennsatucky, and Larry and Polly sure "fell in love" fast (I mean, they

ed once that we saw and now they're in love?). Despite those couple small criticisms, Season 2 was still pretty entertaining and well acted with characters you can get invested in. Season 2 felt a lot more realistic but I found Season 1 more entertaining.
And I just can't not mention the ending scene, I've gotta Therm out here. It was was blatant with the symbolism it was insulting. Cancer patient with weeks to live escaping jail rocking out to "Don't Fear the Reaper". And if you still don't get that she's reliving her youth, they actually morph her into the younger version of herself.
C'mon. We get it. Have a little faith in your audience.
