My album of the year clocked in at #11 on Rolling Stone's list. Better than I expected
Is Death From Above 1979's "The Physical World" really not on there? Fail. Weezer at 14 is way too high. It's nowhere as good as Blue or Pinkerton. Spoon at 29 is a good choice but should be a little higher. I'll have to check out #11...keep seeing that pop up.

(1) Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

(2) Metal Gear Solid

(3) Resident Evil 2

I came to bring the pain, hardcore to the brain, let's go inside my astral plane.

I love that song. Ambitionz Az A Ridah is my favorite song of all time though.

^That's one of my favorite tracks ever. Ambitionz Az a Ridah is definitely up there with it though.

Just looked at that Rolling Stones list. I'm gonna go ahead and make a complete hypocrite out of myself: Any list that has a U2 album as number 1 can't be that well put together.

I really disliked the ps1 (because I'm wicked pretentious). that initial leap to 3d never sat well with me.

I did like:

final fantasy tactics
abe's oddysee
soul reaver

of the ones I've seen listed (although the latter 2 I think I played on pc).

it was a dumb flip, but i got 2 of those ps3 angry birds star wars for $4 each to flip to bestbuy for 8 each. They just got here today and the tiv dropped to 3 each, lol. I guess im out about $2. oh wells.

Funny how Stotch loves to name drop me and then goes have a twitch/twitter love affair with Dovah. Keep it up buddy.

I never really understood their appeal

Their music is just ok to me, nothing mind blowing. I don't really like their music if I'm being honest, so much other bands I think that would be more deserving of the attention

I've either never heard this song before or it's been a super long time since I have.

I guess I've heard Breathin a lot though as I was singing along with it at the end.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't like a few of U2's songs but at this point if they went away forever I'd be perfectly ok with that. Oh and that god damn Elevation song is grating and super awful, and of course it was popular when it came out.

Does anyone have oblivion for ps3? Does it freeze and glitch on you? I have it for 360 but stopped playing it because of above reasons so was debating buying it for ps3.

I dont really care much either way about U2's music but Bono and "The Edge" strike me as douchebags.  I know that U2 does a lot for charities and such but I just feel like they do it for their own pub than anything else.

Seriously.  You called yourself "the edge"?  Major DB fuck face move if you ask me.

I don't know what any of those words mean.

Bethesda just published it. Someone else developed TEW. I should have clarified that it's just when they develop that the game is bound to have issues

Nice. I haven't been to one of their shows in awhile now, but I still listen to everything they put out religiously. Their album from last year is one of my favorites they've done.

Wasn't Blast Corp N64?

Can't pick my top 3, though I do know what game I played more than any other by far and that was Twisted Metal 1.

A co-worker just said "Sooooome" while trying to decide how to phrase a bug report. Almost instantly I started singing "...once told me the the world is kinda (foamy? stoney? Roney?). I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed." And now that (objectively) shitty all-star song is stuck in my head for like the 5th time in the last couple weeks. I hate when (subjectively) shit songs haunt you for weeks on end.

Also you're welcome for sticking it in your head.
All those oooo's just sounds sensual

Very hard to narrow down to just 3, but I'd go with:

1) Final Fantasy 8

2) Metal Gear Solid

3) Castlevania SotN

Probably honorable mentions to The Next Tetris which I would play until my eyes bled and the original Dance Dance Revolution which I would play until my legs bled.

I used to go to shows all the time, NIN, Tool/APC, SoaD, MSI, gravity kills, Rob Zombie, Lords of Acid, Daft Punk, Slipknot, Manson, Garbage, etc. I havnt really listened to music or gone to any shows (rave/fests not counting, cuz i dont really go for the music). People keep asking me if I heard Reznor's new album/etc, but I havnt kept up. I will def check out MSI's new album you mentioned, I really loved all their albums especially frankenstein girls will seem strangely sexy and alienating our audience. Last good Nin album was probly the fragile that i listened to, but The Downward Spiral is always the best.
