So does anyone have a few thousand dollars they want to loan me?! You know I am going through a divorce so I need all the money I can get.

I promise I wont get completely hammered with your money all the time. Just most of the time.
The check is in the mail. Postdated in 2098.

Here's an unboxing of what looks like the American versions of both the Majora's Mask collector's edition and the actual 3DS console. The back of the 3DS is gold (which it wasn't in the release video) which I like and it looks like the Majora's Mask game does come in it's own case which will make it much easier to resell.

I think I'm just going to keep everything. I'll play Majora and then resell it, a game like that will never lose value. Hell, the Ocarina of Time 3DS game is actually way more expensive now than it was at launch.

Mute to maintain your own sanity.
Thanks for posting that video. I'm a bit miffed that Nintendo didn't show the back as being gold in the release video, but I'll still wait until either (a) the standard New 3DS comes over here or (b) more games exclusive to the New XL that I want are announced so I can pick up a New XL on the cheap from AWD.

Also, why wouldn't the MM game come in its own case in the CE? Did you think they were going to put it in a plastic sleeve?

That Challengers stuff sounds kind of badass, and there's going to be new trophies for that too. I just need to grab the Season Pass and jump back into that game head first.
Season pass actually added some modes and trophies that weren't piss easy like in the base game. The survival one is pretty fun.

Since the MM CE statue looks a lot nicer than I expected, I might keep it and just sell off the game for one of my CEs and sell the other CE for $100+, assuming that value holds.

Yeah seems like different special editions do that from time to time. Not a lot. Mostly with consoles I guess, like the Wii with WiiSports in a little cardboard case or the White Vita with AC Liberation in that stupid little plastic holder.

Or they are digital only which also happens a lot of the time with sony and ms.

Yup. Again that's generally with consoles so maybe I never should have worried about it with a CE (obviously a CE isn't going to be digital only because you're still buying the game) but I just wanted to make sure it came with a regular case.

Should be no problem. I have no idea why you're score isn't higher than mine to begin with. I only have one Platinum, after all.

I'm embarrassingly behind on Bosman, but I'm sure he's right because he's smart.

EDIT: Yup, at 1:55 minutes in he's already making the same point I'm making. It's not the scores that are the problem, it's how much "value readers associate to those numbers).
It gets better. This is awesome. I actually like this episode.

I've never played any Ape Escape except for the original on PS1, which I played the shit out of, and the PS Move on rail shooter one we got free, which I played 10 minutes of.

Yeah it was a really good episode. Wasn't so much about defending Review Scores as it was trashing Eurogamer's announcement, which was particularly awful. Reading it yesterday I couldn't believe they were going to keep their scores on Google or whatever, I didn't even know Google tabulated scores. But yeah, doing that completely ruins the point they are trying to make.

He also calls out the Master Chief Collection for still not working. Near Perfect Episode 9.5/10, only drawback is there wasn't any sort of funny skit after the episode. I wonder if he stopped doing that.

Bosman's a smart dude, he definitely has some great episodes.

Yep, just like any announcement eurogamer is changing their review scores for their own good, not because they want to "help" anyone or anything else.

I'm regretting choosing Saints Row IV as my bonus for 4-for-Feb, as it doesn't look like I'd be able to finish it unless The Order takes me a day to plat.

It's right here:

I finished Ape Escape on the PS1. The vita has 2 sticks. PSP games can take advantage of them with special mapping. Haven't tried this game but technically it should work.
Just because the PS1 version of a game used 2 sticks doesn't mean the PSP version was set up in a way that makes mapping work well. Depending on how they remapped the controls to the PSP version, they may or may not re-map well to the Vita's 2nd analog.

In this case, though, it sounds like it worked out fine:

Guy in the video is an idiot, but he's playing the PSP version on Vita and says the 2nd stick works fine @2m10s.

That's the one I found, but it says, "challenge your friends to thrilling mini-games like snowboarding, boxing, racing and ping pong". ???

Also, though you can do this mapping thing for PSP games, the one game I tried that with, GTA something or other, it didn't seem to work well at all. Really clunky.

EDIT: I guess it's just a confusing description. Still I'm skeptical of the controls. Would be nice if there was a demo….

Do you not consider the Sly 1 plat a real plat? Because you have two.
I guess I should count that as well. Although technically, I didn't "Plat" the game in my original playthrough on PS2 (I never got 100% of the collectibles in the days before trophies)

Loved Ape Escape 1,2, and 3. (I even briefly played that RPG that was on the PSP ). Never actually bothered to catch all 300 (?) monkeys.

one of the few games my wife enjoyed watching me play. (I think she even helped me with the dual stick row-boat parts)

Okay, I think I am going to try the JJ Gargantuan at Jimmy John's for dinner tonight.  I had the #9 already.

Any other suggestions as good sandwhiches from them?  MAYO REQUIRED!

I do have a coupon for buy one get one free Rueben from Arby's.  Are those good?  I like Ruebens but never had one at Arby's.

I'm partial to the #12. I love me a crispy, sliced cucumber on my sandwich. Avocado and mayo happen to go real good with it too.

EDIT: #9 is good one too.

So what your saying is we an HD Collection on PS4 with a Cross-Buy Vita version with separate trophy lists that can be unlocked with a save? Sounds like a plan.

It would I am sure if you had a guide for the collectibles... waiting for that guide will delay the plat for some for a few days.

Well, yeah, but then again if they work on that they aren't working yet on a new game. It seems like releasing the PS1 game in the mean time would be easy and make them money, but what do I know.

so I started Warframe a few weeks ago, and today they added another update. It's pretty much a destiny copy update, lol, with a new lobby area to meet others and a new merchant aka Xur.
