What makes it even sweeter is that I made the $10 mark without dying.... ended up with $11.36, good for 3rd place on the global leaderboard. I probably could have gotten more, but my hands started shaking around the $9 mark because I knew I was so close. My nerves are just now starting to settle down but my heart is still thumping pretty good lol

I almost started playing metro redux but went with shadows of mordor instead. Never played either metro game, pretty good so far?

Edit: you're playing the second one, thought it was the first. both games good then?

Just upgrade rockets asap. I beat every challenge on like first try, just spam rockets and zoom away and recharge and spam rockets etc repeat

edit - damn my hubris and pride. rereading this it sounds like im tyler beating everything on my first try.

The Vita games on sale are the Arland trilogy. The order is Rorona, Totori, Meruru. You don't strictly have to play them in order, but they're sequential. Totori's alchemy teacher is Rorona, and Meruru's is Totori with Rorona also making an appearance.

 
AT&T settled a class action with the FTC and whoever else for cramming charges.  I went ahead and submitted a claim since it never asked me if I was charged or not.  I know I wasnt ever charged for anything unless it was a very long time ago.  But I said what the hey.  If the lawyers can make millions why cant I try for a couple pennies I dont deserve?

Sigh. I would rather have Tales of Hearts digital but I don't know what I would do with my unopened copy I got for $30 from GS.

 
Hope your hand heals up Bumslie.  I hope it was just superficial damage and no damage to nerves, tendons, ligaments, etc.  I got 84.9 mil on Scared Stiff last week.  I was able to fill up the Stiff O Meter once during that run.  I hadn't had much, if any, experience with the table prior to that so we might see some good scores on it.

 
I would like to go on record in saying the Festival of Blood trophy card is really bad-ass.  Even better than the Lords of Shadows 2 one.  

Also, this seems to indicate I have a thing for vampire dudes, when in fact I do not.  Except Count Chocula.  That dude's delicious.

I would agree except the missing hair means LoS2 is still best.

Location is fine. It was the combination of making them oval and slightly recessed or at best, level with the face of the Vita. Hense why they changed it.

Started at a shitty -11, but has improved to a chipper 17.

And I already knew it was 80 there because a FB friend post a picture of his car dash and said it "Dam it's hot here in Tampa".

I loved LEGOs as a kid just as much as the next guy, but you all know that LEGO ripped off another company right?  They are basically the building block equivalent of Edison.

 
It's 27º here, but that's not as cold as they were forecasting. It's windy, but overall, no complaints. My youngest and a friend made a Minecraft snow golem yesterday. You can't do that in Florida, Pharm.

Thanks for the kind words everybody. The part that sucked is I already have nerve damage in both hands so at first I didn't know I was bitten but the I felt the pain and saw the flowing blood.

Watch I take first on Scared Stiff this week.
 
Vanquish pros, should I be using the slow motion all the time?  Kinda feels like I'm cheesing my way through but if that's how the game is supposed to be played, then it's all good.

That's what I do, small bursts. Part of the fun is using the whole toolkit - boost, cover, jump over cover, slo mo and shoot in midair, boost, melee, hide during cool down, etc. The game is easy enough that you just get to play around, but yeah pretty much every time I shoot I'll slo mo just to aim. Rarely more than a second at a time before I move again unless it's a big crowd.

I don't like using the melee because it takes so long to recharge so I've just been dashing around, flipping, and going into slow mo to kill everything. I also only use cover when I'm about to die. It's fun but also pretty easy so far.

Granted, I've only beaten Act 1 so far.

It definitely gets a bit harder, but nothing soul crushing. Even the hard parts are fun because the game subtly encourages you to experiment - different melee for each weapons, the weird kick flip + slo mo combo, how different weapons affect different enemies, roll boosts, the bizarre upgrade system. It really is one of the best games I've ever played but, like a lot of people before me have said, if you play it like a regular cover shooter you're doing it wrong. Or at least you might not enjoy it as much as you could have.
 
Apparently Atelier Meruru Plus added more significant content than Totori Plus, so I might pass on the latter and get just the former.

I'm glad I beat the clock on The Order tiv crash (although it's still holding strong at bby).

Dunno if anyone cares, but bby has the mortal kombat x kollectors edition up now ($120 after gcu and get a $10 cert). The dlc it comes with will purportedly be available at release for $30 according to steam at least, so the remaining swag (basically the coarse scorpion figure, scorpion dlc skin and fancy box) would have to be worth the remaining $45 or whatever to you.

This almost certainly will not be all that limited.
