The missions in AC Rogue that were in the boat were not as annoyingly stupid and cheap as AC3 (with the exception of that 4th major battle you could cheat to win) so I liked them. As someone who played both, how do they compare and why do you like Black Flag better?

For me, I liked Black Flag much better because everything felt a little grander in scope, and frankly Edward Kenway was the fuck ing man. The controls also felt better playing Black Flag on PS4 than Rogue on PS3.

As for AC3 well I hated that too. Part of it I think was that I didnt play it until after I had played Black Flag, but it still just didnt click for me at all.

 
I wish I had a new NCAA basketball game to play again.  I played the shit out of that ESPN College Hoops game on the ol' PS2, which would have been the 2K4 release (with TJ Ford on the cover).  Brought the vaunted Campbell Camels their first NCAA title and it was glorious.

Is there any new ones? I'd love to have one too. I don't think I've played any since one of the EA games on ps2.

The most recent is March Madness 10 from EA Sports, and the prices are absurd for a 5 year old sports game.

College Hoops 2K8 is still probably the best one available.

Actually just NCAA Basketball 10, they dropped march madness, goes for 40-60 used.

they will never make an NCAA game again after the recent lawsuits.

 
I am going to have to change my vote for when we had the Publix versus Boar's Head discussion a while back.  Now that I am eating deli meat every week, I have bought the Boar's Head stuff a few times when it was on sale and interested me.  While I still think that if you compare just turkey or ham side-by-side there is really not that much difference, there is a huge difference in the options available though.

For example, last week they had the Boar's Head chicken on sale so I took a taste.  It was very good, but I happened to notice they had a Buffalo chicken version too.  I tasted it as well and went with it instead even though it was more.  It essentially meant I paid an extra quarter per day for lunch but enjoyed it a hell of a lot more.  I was glad I picked Buffalo instead of Chipotle since when I went in today the Chipotle version was on sale.  I have no idea if their sales are universal or not, but if they are and you like spicy stuff you should give it a try.

yeah they have a lot of variety and they are very good if you want some specialty meat. But as usual I like the #common ham and cheese so I dont need to get Boars Head.

 
Looks like there's a big modder community that puts the 30 or so biggest programs into a mod for use with the PC version of NBA 2K15.  But that does me no good.  

I loved playing as the lesser known schools in 2K4 and actually tried to put in the real player names for all the teams in my conference.  

RIP College Hoops vidya games.

Anybody ever ordered from this place?

My oldest kid has played that lately on the PS2 quite a bit. Since the PS2 is in the youngest's room this might be the cheapest way to help me stay sane for another 5 minutes.

I think someone mentioned the 17th for AC. Hopefully the older ones are all $5. Not that I need them or should buy them but I'd pay $5 each to get 2 and 3 over from the 360 trash bucket. Man I need to finish up my games over on that piece of doodie and sell that trash off.

The only AC title I'd be interested in is Freedom Cry and only if it was $5 or less for the add-on, not the standalone listing.

I took a stack of games that were in the discounted rack and scanned them. I forget exactly what it said but the ones that were part of the promotion said something like Save more or something like that. Really only one game I was semi interested in. Wasn't worth paying $20 for MGS Ground Zero and some filler game.

Yeah good point. I'm having a hard time convincing myself to bother with the older games. I guess I feel obligated since I have them but I already played IV and can't see myself going backwards. I know 2 is amazing (from reports around the interweb using webcrawler) but not in a rush. Maybe I'll just let it be.

 
I'm hoping for $5 on AC3 and Liberation HD so I don't have to buy the America's collection, because I'd rather play AC4 on the PS4 (eventually).

Yeah this TV is badass it just isnt worth the money when a similar size LED or LCD is $2K less. This shows why Sony had to switch to a regular screen for Vita as the OLED must have cost a fortune and eaten into all their profits.

 
I am happy they finally wrapped up Altair's story, but considering they are both on the cover I am disappointed with how little effort they put into his portion of the game. So far I have only done 4 missions as Altair, all on the same map which is the small starting area of Assassin's Creed 1, and based on the 4th mission looks like that's all its going to be. It's like the developers got tired of people nagging them about it and said,

"FINE you want an ending to his story?"

Ezio is just such a better character, though. He needs to star in his own series. That would be awesome.

Yeah not worth it but...if I could get even like a 32 inch or 27 inch at an affordable price I'd probably end up making it my gaming TV.

I'm hoping for a cheap Liberation HD as well. I'd also like to get Unity and Rogue, but I really think Rogue will eventually make its way to the PS4. I've played everything up to Rogue save for Liberation. I dislike AC3 the most. The story and setting are good, but it is annoying to play as Connor.

 
What were the major changes between AC Liberation on Vita vs on PS3 (besides the obvious visual upgrades)?  Just in case both are on sale and I have to decide.

They removed the odd online part that had trophies required for the platinum. I think that is the only other difference.

Unfortunately for golf no one draws like Tiger used to. I doubt they will sell many copies no matter what they do until a real super star appears again. And with the way the world is moving that may never happen again.

I just read a short article that kids growing up today dont even want a car!!? I dont know whats going on anymore.

Some good fixes. I ran into that text glitch and my game has crashed several times. I want to hurry up and unlock the last level. Apparently that 1 hour trophy currently unlocks if you start from the last level and beat all 4 stages. They're going to fix that. Also, you can rob the shop keeper and someone comes after you. I won't spoil who it is but there's a trophy for it. I'll try it later.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Sly Collection for $2.49.  Since they took PayPal I was much less concerned about giving them a try.  I barely hit submit before they sent me the code.  The code worked in the store as expected.

I doubt anyone else is interested and worried about the site like I was, but just in case, there you go.
