I have absolutely no desire to play game of war but I hope it keeps doing well so they can keep making commercials with Kate Upton in them.

Yeah I enjoyed it. The game was a bit long it felt sometimes, and I didn't really love all the side stuff it added (sidescrolling shooter level, rolling baby head level, etc). But overall it was really fun and the setting were really enjoyable. The combat worked surprisingly well though the auto-lock was a bit finicky.

No plat though, not going to bother going back and getting the collectibles.
Good job using the Nightmare glitch!

Wow you have some low taxes. We have 7% here so the total was $85 something.
My MGS:V was $86.39, love those CA taxes.

Ticketmaster fees are retarded. Bought some $25 tickets for a wrestling show next weekend and with fees it came out to $40. Not sure if the fees were relatively high because the tickets were cheap or because they really intend on applying fees that are 60% of the ticket price.
Ticketbastard has been placing ridiculous convenience charges on tickets for years. There's no way to go around it unless you get free tickets. I got 4th row WWF tickets as a kid and that was key. Bret Hart vs Owen Hart. Hell Yeah.

Yeah but the problem is what you mentioned...the corporations have to fight so many wrongful termination lawsuits that some companies resort to asinine late policies. Because really the problem employees are usually those that constantly want to make their own schedule. I have been a manager for almost 10 years now and it has worked out this way for my team every single time. My best employees rarely want to or need to leave early. They take a day off or make appts around work schedules. They routinely delay appts too when others in the dept are out. And they automatically pick up work for those others that are late/early or not in.

The bad employees always have excuses as to why they need to come in late or leave early. And complain when others are not in. And never pick up others work. "That isnt my job" "No one told me to cover for them" Yeah, thats why your still in that entry level position at 45 years old. Moron.
Just curious how much time are you going to be taking off for your divorce? Should they fire you after 3 or 4 days of leaving early or taking a long lunch? I don't take a ton of time off but you know life does happen too. Not sure how companies like yours attract/keep any decent talent with crappy policies like this. My wife worked her ass off for about 10 years put in long hours and had no life. She got sick and took some time off (almost died). Then a year later her dad got sick. Took some time off (FMLA). Pretty much from then on her manager was a POS to her. God forbid a good employee not put in 10+ hour days anymore. They moved their offices further away and initially promised all sorts of perks for staying with the company. Then cried about how bad the economy tanked and did away with all the perks AND cut salaries. The POS owner was on Under Cover Boss recently. What a joke.

So based on the pick list Zimm posted earlier it looks like I will go as far as Michigan State goes.  I thought someone in here was a fan of theirs and would likely have picked them to go far as well.

You're not going very far, they can very well lose to UGA.

Djurisic is the key. He puts up 20 10 and UGA could win that game.

The only basketball I care about is NBA Jam online and pissing off those players.

Remember those good times Pharm, getting all that hate mail.

We will see. I think MSU is a much better overall team than UGAly is. I am not worried that much about that game. Others, I am. With Villanova and Virginia being the high seeds in that bracket I think someone with a low seed ends up coming out of that one. I like MSU's chances the best.

Even if MSU won against UGA, gets beat by UVA.

They are legit and their defense is the best behind UK.

Also dont you live in GA? Way to root for the team from your state.

I think I have Michigan State going to the Elite 8 in most of my brackets.  They impressed me during the Big 10 Championship game and I've always underestimated their teams in the past, only to have them destroy my bracket.  So this time I'll overestimate them for the same outcome.

You and I are talking about completely different scenarios. Myself and every manager I have ever worked for would never hold real life events like deaths/illnesses/divorces against an employee. And our employer wouldnt have asked us too. Your wife had a shitty manager/owner and that sucks. I have had an employee who needed surgery twice and another who went through a divorce and major back surgery. They both needed flexible time here and there and they got it.

I will probably have to use my vacation and personal time a few days here and there. Specifically the days we have mediation as that will be an all day thing.

Also, my employer doesnt require its employees to work shitty long hours and days either. My team works regular 8 hour days with a full hour long lunch in the middle (9 hour day total). As a manager I come in early and leave later than they all do so I work about 9 hours with that same 1 hour lunch so I am here about 10 hours most days. But thats really my call. I could work less but then I would be a shitty manager in my mind. I need to be here for my people at all times.

However myself and two other people on my team are exempt/officers whereas the rest of my team is non exempt. The officers get to be more flexible with hours since we arent working on the day to day like customer service and ops tasks like the non exempts. Non exempts have to be here between their normal schedule work hours as thats the time the work comes in. If you dont like that, work hard and move up then you can have a bit more flexible schedule. Until then you cant just leave an hour early whenever you feel like it and not have consequences. It isnt like myself and my officers are doing it much at all anyway. Cause we are good employees. Again, not that your wife wasnt, she just had a bad manager/owner.

Yeah it was Matt that was boosting with us. Better than hearing somebody talking about my bum so I reported them for sexual harassment.

all 3 14 giving the 3 seed all they can handle.

ND up four with 1 to play, should hold on for win.

I'm starting to think that that guerrilla-warfare-style post by Backlog earlier in the week was by his son.

I probably should not mention this since if he fills out a bracket he will probably win. However, I know I would want to know if it were me.

Pitfall, you haven't actually submitted any picks after signing up. Your possible points is 0.
I'm sure someone has answered this in the past 5 hours, but I didn't get it filled out until around 6 this morning right before I went to bed. I think it just took awhile to update because it looks ok now.
